Another good entry for Eurosong. Going back for years, all we wanted was diversity....craved it even. Whatever you think of the song, you can't deny that this is completely different from Bobbi Arlo. 4 more different songs and I'll be happy. Show all aspects of Irish music. For the record, I like this effort. Ethereal sounds and haunting vocals. Maybe not for ESC but this is good. Fingers crossed for the next 4 songs 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
another great song revealed!! I think with bobbi arlo we already got a song that gives us bambie thug vibes and potential to just succeed as much with a great performance and now with reylta we just got a song that just feels like ireland and not the typical generic pop song. I heard a bit of the interview and if I heard it right she was saying that she is planning to give it a little musical staging. we can only be excited for the rest and what else will happen. ireland is slowly coming back 🏆✨️
2 for 2 from Ireland so far! Think staging will help a lot. But so, so good to see Ireland taking the Eurovision seriously again. Also, totally thought the first 10 seconds were as Gaeilge!
Last year we had Go Tobann, but this is probably more Irish than Irish not really knowing Irish. Really pretty and the stage show might seal the deal. Don't know if it will get past the semifinal if this song gets there, but that would be a fine addition to these ESC robbery videos in May
Absolutely love this song. Been listening to it all day. The atmosphere has completely drawn me in. I understand this isn't likely to do very well but I'm just glad there's a song in Eurosong I really like.
Nice to see something a lot more ethnic in the mix. We haven't had anything like that in a while. Agree that the chorus and the last 40 seconds needs a bit of a lift.
It sounds very promising and has the right ingredients, but just like yesterday's song it doesn't progress much or build up to something bigger, something epic. This one could benefit from a revamp as well!
I do like this Eurosong is definitely improving. Though it would definitely be a borderline qualifier and I couldn’t see it doing much in the final if it made it. Bobbi is definitely the one to sent so far.
This is super strong! Definitely continuing a trend of quality this year in Eurosong. Personally I feel the initial verses set up a stunning vibe that isn't achieved then by the progression of the song. The chorus i like but could do with a stronger note (either a bit higher or even a bit lower, just a stronger choice basically) on the big notes. The pre-chorus goes a bit too Disney for me. But gosh am I glad to have a more folk ballad vibe again in Eurosong. I think its a contender, but upon hearing the full song i think its not so perfect. Thanks so much for the reaction and analysis
I agree that some of this song could be sung in Irish, mabey in the last chorus? As for the staging, I can see something like Solas from JESC 2022, with a sunrise over the Irish countryside or an old church/Abbey. My favourite of the two so far! Also, if this goes to Eurovision (and it's done right), this could dominate the juries.
I like this its intriguing but I feel if this is sent Ireland may struggle to qualify bit personally Iblike this. I actually got slight Sudden Lights vibes idk why 😂
I’m actually the opposite. I really enjoyed the chorus and the extended ethnic vocal runs, the song needs a bit of drama to “juxtapose” with the delicate verses. The same with the climax: I really enjoy the male vocal that accompanies her at the end and the reduction of instrumentation. This would probably sound better in Irish as well. I prefer this to Bobbi at the moment in all honesty but I’m not sure how comfortable Reylta is on stage and there is close to zero chance of a magical atmosphere being created in the Late Late studio
aw I quite like this. it's modern but it still has an Irish identity. it's too bad that it has to be performed on the late late show for us to get a live impression of it lol
Yeah, that’s something that all the act have to consider, is that there in quite a shitty studio so they might not be able to visit their full creative idea
Refreshment break song. I think others like me will get bored with this song. Lovely voice, but I wouldnt even put it on my chilled playlist unfortunately.
OMG Tom.... so I really don"t like this entry so I thumbed down on your video lol.... I am old so I realised I was "disliking" your view and not the song... took me a while to figure it out! .... sorry Tom.... I changed my thumb to a 'like' ... but I. still really dislike this entry ... love from Wexford... keep up your reviews pal xoxox
This is very pretty and mystical, I like this. Eurosong seems very promising this year!

This is beautiful and feels so much like our more ethnic songs from the 90s 💚
Yes it’s very reminiscent of the 90s, I wonder if that might also work against it
Its songs like these i wish the live orchestra was still at esc. It would enhance the song on so many levels
Yea this would work very well with that, and with that it does feel like a song from maybe Eurovision 90s
I just wish it was in Irish, that would have brought it to the next level
My favourite thing about this is she sings in her own accent. It just makes the whole vocal sound so pretty and delicate somehow.
This song screams Ireland but i think this would only do well in the 90s Esc if im being honest. Still so far Eurosong improved BY A LOT!
Ryan O'Shaughnessy of Ireland 2018 is a writer on this song!
Ah no way!!!

yea same, I thought i heard "níos"
@ESCTom but it was knees 🤣

Ireland coming through this year! i love both of the songs we have gotten so far!
This is good entry.
I'm hearing echoes of Sì (Italy 1974) in the "Steady as She Goes/Jumping in" part
Absolutely love this song. Been listening to it all day. The atmosphere has completely drawn me in. I understand this isn't likely to do very well but I'm just glad there's a song in Eurosong I really like.
I really like it. I'd enjoy it in the background, but I don't think I would want to send this when compared to Bobbi. But I do really like it
Another good entry, you look nice too tom xx
Thank you so much Andy
That's so good wtf 😭 How are the first 2 songs already great? What's going on in Ireland?!
Moldova withdrawn 😭 that's so surprising and also I would miss them
Lovely song... I'm getting Little Green Cars... a band I love
ugh the irish eurosong is SO good

Yep, I agree, both songs need to revamp if they were to be chosen
I really like this season so far. There are many ducks racing all over Europe! 🦆
😂 so many ducks. Living for the ducks
Florence agus an Machine - Cosmic Love :)
❤❤❤

Agree and agree
I think alot of the older generations will love this kind of music not so much of the young generations
I really like this artist and song .. totally agree that the ending is maybe needing something different!

Only if the juries are going for generic and hackneyed staging based on your suggestions. There's more to Ireland than this!
I like this its intriguing but I feel if this is sent Ireland may struggle to qualify bit personally Iblike this. I actually got slight Sudden Lights vibes idk why 😂
Moldova just withdrew from esc 2025 😭😭
Are we ever going to have 38 countries

Can confirm that there is no magic in the late late show studio ☠️

pudu-pupudupu is an interesting change as an ending
lol its from Mario 64
It’s a bit like Norway last year, beautiful, but too fragile for Eurovision maybe ?

Hahaha no problem thanks for changing it 😂
@sure I'm carnage lol
It's a pretty song but it's not grabbing my attention.
Beautiful intro and verse. The chorus isn't great, in my opinion.
boring song
