- Murdock is a dog who had to have his eyes removed early in his life. He is completely blind and only relies on his other senses for direction. We adopted 2 puppies that are 8weeks old. The female puppy has very limited vision in her left eye and blind in right eye. The male is totally blind. We are asking for advice in training these very special puppies.
I'm a dog foster and my current foster is blind. I am looking forward to watching this series, as I know he is a smart boy and I'd like to help train him more, rather than just having him lay around my house. I know he can be and do so much more.

Phenomenal video and series! Super helpful advice for approach towards training a blind dog. One quick word of advice Add “blind” to the title of this video. This would have saved us from watching 5 other videos which weren’t nearly as helpful as yours. Keep up the great work here - looking forward to seeing additional content you guys are putting out!

My sweet 9 year old rescue who has been with us all his life was just diagnosed with Diabetes. Insulin shots will b given twice a day forever. 3 days later he got cataracts in both eyes & 2 days later he was completely blind. We thought putting him down was what was best for him. All we wanted was what was best for Bailey. Long story short, he’s still with us! He doesn’t act like that GS at all tho. He’s not curious like that. We take him out on a leash to potty & he just freezes! I’ll pick him up & then put him in a different spot & then he will go. I’m so confused on what to do. I know he’s scared & needs to build his confidence. We bought some oils but I don’t know if that will help or confuse him. I just love him & want him to have a good life.
I need more videos I've rescued a blind puppy he's about three or four months old is very large he's a pit Bull mix or Staffordshire mix I want to say I did not realize it was blindly whacked himself into a pole I need to know how to go about training him seeking help to Foster him to get his needs met such as medical exedra I need to know if the blindness is reversible I know nothing right now can you advise me on the right direction I've already contacted my ACS I live in an apartment with a multi household pets so there's another dog and cats can you advise me I live in San Antonio

i am having the same issues. i recently got a silver lab puppy that went blind a few weeks after i brought her home. now i am in need of figuring out how to leash train her.
