ADRIAN RAMIREZ besides his speed there’s really nothing else special. He started to crumble when his last opponent kept surviving every round. If Ryan’s speed doesn’t bail him out a fight, there’s no other game plan. Rewatch that fight.

ADRIAN RAMIREZ I’m sure Ryan has sting behind his punches, but what you have to realize is that Oscar has been putting opponents in front of him to make him look good. As you can see in his last fight, he stepped up to a C level fighter and his speed/power didn’t cause too much problems. That’s why it went the distance. 🤷🏻♂️

I'll say this dude is mostly show.
For the following reasons -
Footwork win fights.
Speed looks good but if you can't put it to good use with footwork and rythem breaking you will lose.
Counter, defense win fights - the dude is open alot of the time, I'll rather take a body shot and blow his fuckeing chin off, it might hurt a little but he will be out.
Power - the dude's body shots are good with alot of body behind it, the jab is minimal and the cross too.
A slower punch with more body behind it goes a really long way in breaking guard and stance.
Y'all can't say this young boi ain't nice. Really I'm not a big fan of his but this shit is impressive... his potential is exponential.

Not impressed by this,people in my gym that don’t even compete do this shit,seen it a lot ,good talent that is wasted or just has a future without boxing,I am impressed with his amateur background tho and National titles ,he’s good

I just love to see our Young ones striving to be all they can be and work hard for it, regardless of what happens, there'll be trials and tribulations, cause we live in a crazy world and for one I like to support the young man trying to come up in the world.
I've read a bunch of critical comments about Ryan Garcia, but as a Boxing fan for a long time, I can say with full confidence, he has a lot of potential. He's a true student. Constantly improving. He's sharp, technically sound, & works hard. As he grows & maintains this trajectory of growth, he's going to be an elite Boxer. I don't think it's going to take long either.
Plus, on the business side, he's marketable. He articulates himself well, he's a good looking young man who'll probably single-handedly increase Boxing's fan base in the female teens through 20s & 30s demographic. All he's got to do is keeping grinding, keep winning, keep improving & his future will be bright.
I'm sure I'm not the only who thinks he slightly resembles or bears a similarity to young Oscar De La Hoya. Sharp crisp punches.

Primitve Dreamzs For a 20 year old with 16 pro fights under his belt, I'd say his level of skill is pretty solid. Don't be a clown & then try to clown me. You don't know what I know about Boxing, & by your ignorant response, your reading comprehension leaves plenty to be improved as well.
I didn't say he was a finished product. I spoke on what he has now & what he could be in time. But if YOU KNOW BOXING, there are subtle & not so subtle elements that young fighters show early that offer indicators to what they can develop into. Maybe your problem is that you can ONLY recognize the finished product in Boxing, which is a limited perspective. Great athletes are always evolving, so my position remains... Based on what he's doing now, & his apparent work ethic & focus, I see him going much further than some other fighters who are too distracted by wanting to "live that life" that they've already slipped on their supposed path to greatness.
His chin may be up sometimes, but most of what is shown, his hands come back to guard after he throws. And don't tell me he's not a sharp puncher! His head movement isn't bad either. If you can't see any of that, you shouldn't be calling anyone out on what you think they do or don't know about Boxing.
You're not the only one who thinks he has a look that's similar to Oscar from when he was an amateur. I would say he's slightly above average in looks. (no homo, haha). Oscar looked his best in the late 90's. His face was lean and chiseled, and looked more like a movie star or singer. I don't know if Ryan will be able to attract female boxing fans in the 20 - 30 age range since he looks like a middle school kid or a freshman in high school.
Regarding the critical comments, these people, probably young guys, might be jealous of his potential. They don't want to see him succeed.

Even watching Canelo media training other day, he was sinking hooks into the pads and noticed he lowers his right hand when throwing his left hook. But then I realized what do I know, he's a multimillionaire championship boxer. He knows what he's doing. Basically, I see pro boxers violate the rules you speak of.
That right hook to body is awesome.Though I feel like we're influencing bad habbits with the lack of evasion after combination s and even single punches.i danno I'm not a professional.

That’s actually really good coordination. Ofcourse people have their eyes opened when doing pads but he’s clearly learned all of the techniques enough that he could close his eyes and really focus on those punches.

Has a enormous amount of potential no doubt about it. Definitely deserves the recognition he’s gotten. Just needs to work on his footwork he really doesn’t pay to much attention to it and start doing it.

He seems to be refining himself, working on explosive power with leverage and motion. I like that. And i am not a fan of this guy usually nor his attitude sometimes but he is looking better.
Man, ya'll are something else. He is TWENTY YEARS OLD. Still learning and improving. And the fact that you guys keep mentioning that he fights bums. Every GOAT in the history of boxing has fought bums. Only time will tell how big of an impact he makes in the ring. For now just enjoy the show and trust the process.

Wish Ryan well, but he reminds me of another "can't miss" prospect from about 10 years ago--Victor Ortiz. Ortiz looked good against "B"-level fighters, but then began quitting when his competition got better. If I was Ryan, I would stop calling out guys who could really hurt you, like Gervonta Davis, and focus on getting better.

Ryan will learn through experience kind of like how money mayweather started off. You don’t need these combination punches to win fights. These combos are fast but can be blocked on gloves very easily . He’s only wasting energy . He should use his speed at the right time . Kind of like how he knocked out his last opponent with left hook . He didn’t forced it it was natural reaction
True. Mayweather is pinpoint accurate. Doesn't throw a lot but has a high hit percentage when he does.
