I've been struggling in my walk with God. I feel like I have only ever looked to Him when I need something. I guess I'm saying that being proactive with my faith is something I've SAID that I want, but I'm only ever reactive. I know what I must do, but I always fall into complacency. I'm a husband and father, and I know I should be the spiritual leader of my house, but I always allow "life" to get in the way. I see in real time how this allows the enemy to influence my family. I want us all to walk in righteousness, and be lights in the darkness around us. Please just pray for me (and my family) that the Spirit may fill and guide me in order to fulfill the anointing God would put on our lives. Thanks for this message, pastor. It's much needed.
