I love the longer Zanny videos to just chill down and enjoy Zanny playing while not getting bored by waiting times, loading screens and so on or the 20th boss attempt. However shorter videos on the other hand of course have a lot of highly concentrated meme material and laughs. So having a nice mixture would be cool. The camera had to be decent in Sekiro or else the game would be unplayable with its combat mechanics lmao
One thing I want to say with anyone who is interested with trying out Demon's Souls. Don't skip out on a bow and a 100% physical damage resistant shield, they seem like underrated equipment for good reason but trust me. The bow has helped me with isolating so many enemy encounters and attacking from a distance with minimal start requirements. If you want a basic and decent bow, go for the short compound bow that can be found in the second tower along the bridge before fighting Tower Knight and keep at least 100 to 150 normal arrows on you (these arrows can be bought from the smithery in the Nexus too for 10 or 20 souls per arrow). Try to buy the heater shield from the smithery too or use the shade heater shield +1 that Zanny found in the smithing grounds as that's good for physical and magic damage defense. The buckler is a decent shield but the chip damage you get from blocking can get you off guard if you're not paying attention. I also want to say magic is the real easy mode of Demon's Souls. The distance and damage you can deal with magic spells is a joke to the enemies in this game and can really be helpful if you're struggling. One more thing, don't force someone to follow a build or what you did. The purpose of Fromsoft games is to test one's ability to overcome challenges with their own methods and solutions, which could be throwing yourself over and over until you beat a boss or find a new method. It's your choice, both lead to the same ending and each one is unique for the person. If you want to know, I did a strength, dexterity, magic, and faith runs in Demon's Souls. I even platinum the game after 50 hours because I was just that addicted and in love with this game even if I never got to play the original and only got to play the remake. a good way to farm grass is either: the crescent, farm the drenglings at the beginning of 1-1. you get souls and a grass from time to time. if you are up to the challange: full moon grass in 2-1. at the start go up the elevator and fight the fat official. he always drops 1 or 2. it's recommended to kill him with backstabs
It's relative - out of FromSoft's games this is considered one of the worst. Technically Dark Souls 2 had the worst reception, so not sure about this video title. That said, the worst FromSoft game is still miles ahead of the best Ubisoft game xD
From some things I've seen, some hate is actually specifically for the remake, not the original. They changed some stuff that OG fans didn't like, including some of the bosses looks completely. So it caused some problems

You may happen to not like DS2, that's fine, but objectively is better than Demon's Souls. It's not exactly "the worst game" it's just "the least good one". Demon's Souls is, in many ways, a prototype of what the Dark Souls trilogy will become, each iteration of the formula changed and improved basic concepts introduced in Demon's Souls, but Demon obviously didn't have the advantage of all these previous games to learn from. That's why Elden Ring is the greatest Souls game, it learned from all of the previous souls games, kept what worked, left out or fixed what didn't and even introduced it's own set of concepts and ideas.
If you were a fan of the original Demon's Souls and it's art direction, you would NOT want a Bloodborne remake done by them. Maybe then you would realize how badly they screwed up Demon's Souls.
You know from my POV, the fact that the first souls game is considered the worst is actually a good thing. Cause that means that every souls game that came after this has improved.

You know from my POV, the fact that the first souls game is considered the worst is actually a good thing. Cause that means that every souls game that came after this has improved.

"Worst" implies that this is a bad game, people must be high if they think that for a nearly 20 year old title that was the first in its series.
