Maybe you can give me a sense of where I ventured through, I'm still obsessed with this route my daughters and I had taken back in November of last year. We traveled from Franklin, TN to Kosciusko, MS (I hope I spelled that in the correct manner) ... my family lives in Mississippi and are from the areas of Carthage and Kosciusko, but when I was describing our route and the small towns we passed through they were unfamiliar with the places. The reason I'm so intrigued by the small towns we passed through is because they appeared to be almost stuck in time (I'm respectfully saying this, not being rude at all) and it just amazed me. When we went through small towns in Alabama I saw cotton fields for the FIRST TIME and I was taken back, but I remember one of the areas in Mississippi was called "Smithville" and the GPS took us to the Natchez Trace. I told my father we passed over a huge bridge and I wasn't for sure if that was the Talahachie (I may have spelled that incorrectly) and he believes we were in the northeastern part of Mississippi. My family thought we'd past through the Delta region but I told them from what they were describing it couldn't have been the Delta. I know the GPS didn't have us on the Memphis route, it appeared we were going to go through Birmingham, but we didn't, instead it took us through small towns in Alabama which lead to Mississippi. Sorry for the long description.
I definitely know where all the towns are that you mentioned, I’m from Dundee Mississippi born and raised…n I also absolutely love to read so the long post is much appreciated, sounds like u will love my friend’s channel for sure his name is Bobby, he travels all across Mississippi, I love his driving videos and all of his work I’ll place a link to his channel below ⬇️ n I really appreciate you for watching and sharing your story, I hope u come back again and have a very blessed week my friend ❤️
Tunica don't seem to be near as impoverished as it was in the 60's and 70's. It seems like a nice little town that's clean and well-kept. How's the breakfast at the Blue and White Restraunt? Is it the best sit-down restraunt in Tunica?
It’s really not it’s grown a whole lot with the casinos coming and everything it’s growing and blue and white is a good restaurant but u gotta go check out the others in the area it’s a few good sit down restaurants in tunica but the food there is very good
