She was one of the best on SNL and I loved her deadpan delivery, especially when she was in her alien abducted character.
The writing for that character was utterly fantastic and she embraced it so completely!

I’ve watched those alien abduction sketches sooo many times but they _still_ make me laugh till I hurt, and it’s pretty much ALL because of Kate! The woman is a shining goddess of comedy ❤️

Not impressed with the new SNL crew yet.
New SNL crew is very hit or miss, mostly miss. Too much of the senior staff left simultaneously. I could do with this cast as juniors with more senior cast balancing it out. But it mostly misses the mark now.

Fun fact, garter snakes are ovoviviparous, meaning they give live birth. So Kate will also have a bunch of cute babies under her porch too! 😂

I can't tell with these two what is a bit and what is real; as it should be.
She embodied everything that SNL and sketch comedy is supposed to be. Variety of characters and impressions unlike most who have almost no range. She can play main or supporting just as well.

I used to work as a Nanny and Kate's Ms Frizzle was our favourite! The kiddos watched it over and over again. She is bloody brilliant.

About 2 months ago while driving for work. I was watching old clips from snl, and thinking. When is Kate gonna host? She'd be perfect. It was a premonition! A good 1 at that.
I found garter snakes nesting under my stoop as well. They get pissy whe ya pick em up but are harmless lil scaly nature noodles. Snapping turtles are right bastards though!

i would say kate is theeee greatest SNL cast member ever... and that's the highest of the high praise..
You can kind of train snakes, but only in very limited ways "you get fed in this corner" kind of stuff. You can train turtles quite a bit, and they do recognize their owners. But that will not stop a snapping turtle from snapping at the hand that feeds it! On the other hand, when I worked with Sonoran Desert Tortoises, they all tried to bite the orange parts of my shoes. So provided the intruder is wearing orange shoes, they may be effective.
My experience with classroom Rat and Corn snakes is that 1) When you dangle the mouse (thawed and warmed) in front of them, their brains take a little moment to figure out "FOOOOOOD!" but then they are a Blur Of Chomp. 2) They will seek out warm spaces, generally inside your shirt during the first -of-the-year classroom introduction, in front of 30 junior high kids. 3) they seemed to always take three days to digest the mouse. If a kid puts them on a desk that third day, the snake will immediately "lighten the load" to try to escape. "Cleanup in Aisle 1, dissolved mouse bones."4.) Having a classroom snake is the secret to getting the most annoying child (during class) to come in and beg to hold it every day before school. 5.) Having a classroom snake is an insult to Native American students, which I didn't know at the time. Belated apologies. There's a reason we take courses on cultural diversity.
