How Feminism DESTROYED Society (and women)

  • Feminism has been fighting for gender equality for the last 200 or so years. While early on the movement had massive positive impact on women and society, we have to wonder if that's still the case as feminism rages on in its fourth wave.
In its desire for sexual liberation, Feminism has allied itself heavily with the adult industry, leading to adult content's massive rise and influence over every aspect of life. But has that been good for women, for children, and for men?
    Has feminism actually helped society?

One time I was venting to a friend about how my husband always leaves his drawers open. We had a narrow bedroom at the time so it meant I was bumping my knees in the dark and such. She literally told me to divorce him…this feminism mindset means that any little ABSOLUTELY NORMAL inconvenient thing a man does is worth posting on tik tok complaining about the “patriarchy.” Meanwhile, women do a billion annoying things in a day, men just don’t complain as much. And they certainly do not threaten to divorce you every time you leave dirty makeup brushes on the bathroom counter.

If that was the case I would divorce my partner for her leaving her dirty clothes NEXT to the laundry basket. But instead, I pick it up and put it inside. I love her and divorcing over something so minor and trivial is astonishingly stupid. I guess that’s what they miss in their relationships, actual love and patience for someone who you care about.

@@AutumnFaerie Men think that way. Women, not so. My wife’s college feminist friend is currently divorcing her husband because she’s not happy. Perhaps it’s because she spread her legs for dozens of guys only to marry a beta in her early 30s because she wanted children and a house. He was just a place holder and a means to get what she wanted materially.

I mean if he simply doesn't care about CONSTANTLY inconveniencing you (while you also get hurt because of that) then he doesn't care, what does that say about him as a partner? Swap the roles of you being husband and him being wife - doesn't matter which gender they have, if partner doesn't care then it sounds like they don't give a shit.

Meanwhile men never contradict themselves, or conveniently choose whatever position that happens to suit them depending on the situation they’re in …..wait, they’ve been doing the same thing forever because human beings are fundamentally selfish, except now that women are openly doing it too, it’s a “feminist “thing. How dare we have the same flaws as men. Who do we think we are, their equals?

Women were never 'chained to the stove barefoot'. In Victorian Britain most boys didn't go to school and worked manual jobs from as young as 7 years old. They weren't gatekeeping cushtie air conditioned office jobs, they were laboring in factories, fields, & building sites, and there was nothing to envy in an average man's life

    • @singtweetypie
      @singtweetypie 4 місяці тому +21

There was nothing to envy in an average women's life either. Though unwelcome in the work force, many were forced to work outside the home, in addition to child birthing, rearing and domestic duties expected of them at home, as men's wages often weren't enough to sustain a family. In fact, every member of the family was expected to work in order to support each other, including the children of both sexes. Those were long hard days and nights, with much shorter lifespans the only reprieve. We certainly all live better lives than our ancestors did.

@@Professorbubblegum According to the 1901 British census, 31.6% of females over the age of 10 were in paid employment. Nearly 80% of the adult female working population did so as domestic servants or in manufacturing/factories. While this census was taken at the end of the Victorian era, and did not capture the breadth of work done by women, nor unpaid work in homes or on farms etc, it is still significant.
Women were limited in terms of what they could inherit, (even children were not their own) so being widowed or divorced meant you were living off relatives or worked until you were unable to do so any longer. That is why 9 out of 10 women married in that era, even though the marriage contract totally abrogated women's rights over their bodies. Women had few choices, their father's made those for them. Although much has changed, sadly, there are still many countries where this type of domestic control/slavery of women still exists.

    • @singtweetypie

@@Professorbubblegum The 1901 census, taken at the end of the Victorian era, reported 31.6% of females over the age of 10 were in paid employment, either as domestic servants or manufacturing workers. That census did not capture females that spun yarn or grew produce to sell, worked on family farms, etc, but even in 1851, half of England's adult females worked. Women had little to no inheritance rights, so if they were widowed or divorced, had to either work, find a husband, or live off the kindness of relatives.
At the time, 90% of females married. The marriage contract abrogated a women's right over their property, possessions, money and bodies, giving ownership to their husbands, including all children born of the marriage. A wife was legally considered 'property', so men could rape and beat their wives without prosecution, and until 1891, could lock a wife in prison for refusing conjugal relations. It was another hundred years before it was illegal to rape a wife, although few women ever report and it is still legal in many countries. Women have lived lives working around the clock - on their feet, backs, knees, carrying unborn babies in their bellies, toddlers on their hips, until the human rights inequities were too great to ignore, and a few brave men and women were ready to fight.

To me that's like asking a rape victim to pay for medical bills of their rapist if he or she happens to have an STD that passes on to the perpetrator.
It's actually insane. The victim of a crime can be held responsible for the consequences of the crime perpetrated against them in this case I described. Some feminists even wanted to eschew the right to vote simply because they were so afraid it meant having the same obligations as men.
I don't care what anybody says, women truly have life on easy mode, they act like they don't, and that's why I will always resent them for it.

Femimists are also generally anti-war, you mong. They don't want to be drafted, because reject cobcept of draft and international warrmongering in the first place.
Most wars are not necessary, and are either triggered by oetty power struggles, petty nationalist conflicts or desire of other nations to spread their influence and sphere of control.
Very few wars have been waged for pure survival.

Feminists were also anti-war. They reject drafts, because drafts are bad. This is not a contradiction. It is consistent part of their ideology. As most wars are pointless nonsense, waged for financial wealth, control and influence, rather then survival. And peasants are caught in the middle, rather then standing up and saying "No"

My thought on this has been, for a long time, "men are shovels and women are jewels." Men are simple tools, easily discarded when broken and just as easily replaced. And just as respected as a shovel is. Women are viewed as special, precious, unique and worthy of guarding. And, amazingly enough, most men are OK with that. We're used to being treated like simple tools that, once broken, get discarded. But are generally accepting of that reality for the greater good of society. Women are too selfish to care. I think another thing that goes unacknowledged with the broken nuclear family is how eldest daughters are STILL turned into secondary moms. I am one of 6, eldest, mom had me with my dad, three boys with someone else, and the last two with another guy. Especially with the last two I was required to be second mom. My schooling was disrupted due to her choices effecting me. I had to help support the household. I had to be there for her. To take up slack of what she couldn't or wouldn't do. As such, I honestly am happier being just me, myself and I. But I support my other gal pals if they want kids. I think where feminism loses me now is not only this whole stupid "gender is fluid" but also in this hatred of men in general and fathers. It breaks my heart to see good men turned away told they can't see their kids when they are doing everything they can to be there for them. I could never hate men or women for that matter. This whole sins of the ancestors shit needs to go. There are evil women and men. Period. Also, to fathers out there who are truly trying and being there for your children. You are doing amazing! Please, keep going. 🙏🏻 same with mothers of course.

Food banks are practically empty (while international students regularly post TikToks on how to get "free food as an international student!!" by taking hundreds of dollars worth of food from these banks at a time. All while local citizens line up to get just enough to get by. Violent attacks against the host population are much more frequent, and repeat perpetrators are now routinely caught and released based on their oppression status. Seriously, I kid you not! It really started for women on a large scale during WW2. Men went to war and women went to work. Many never went back. People like to say that both men and women in a relationship have to work to survive. True, but there is a reason. Simple supply and demand plays a role. More people competing for a finite number of jobs. Remove a significant percentage of the workforce and have them raise the children and take care of the home as good ole grandma did. When society was like this, a single paycheck was enough to raise a family. Less available qualified people in the workforce for these jobs will require better pay to secure the best people for the job. Flood the market and you get lower paying jobs.

I cannot put into words just how much I respect you for making this video. Everything you said I 100% agree with. I could fill hours talking about this topic, but you made a very good sum up in a very short time.
Feminisms core tenets are not equality between the sexes, but; "Men=evil, women=victim".
Feminism declared war against healthy society. This gender war has been raging for decades and will only get worse.
Men have to punish the smallest disprespects and enforce strict boundaries all the way and keep a 0%BS policy, or relationships are doomed. That you need to play 5D chess to avoid financial, domestic, parental and romantic ruin once your gold digger of a wife gets fed up keeping up appearances and hands you the divorce papers does not help. Laws have to be changed. Men have long since been the oppressed now, but masculine pride has held us back voicing our complaints.
The government, media, law, hollywood and society is antagonising us, and it needs to stop.
Maybe we'll decide on a men's day, where all men lay down their hammer, drill or saw for a day and see how women like it. See how strong and capable they'd be without it.

Great video, Baggage!! Feminism has made it worse for women!! They’ve made it so we HAVE to work outside the home instead of having the privilege of raising our own children. Staying home is WORK too btw but you get to instill your morals and values into your children. Now daycares raise your kids. You and your husband are both so tired from work you don’t even really get to enjoy your children. Or even worse if you work two different shifts. I remember coming home from work being exhausted and having to get stuff ready for the next day of work and getting the kids stuff ready for the next day of school and daycare. Most people don’t just work Monday to Friday where at least you have the weekends off. I remember crying from the exhaustion. Feminist just made women all workers for big businesses and corporations. The government loves it because they have double the taxpayers. Now they have more money to spend on their useless wars and to give to their rich friends. Our lives should not just be dedicated to corporations and letting the government ran educational system raise our kids.

Yep. What it is now it was always. Only goalposts have shifted. But demands for privilege thru usage of victimhood was always there.
Like when women were fighting for "financial independence", something that is often brought up as proof of feminism being for equality. And of course all those advocates conveniently omit the fact that while women got the right to spend money, it did not come with obligation to be responsible for those spending. And lack of accountability is a cornerstone of feminist cult. So women could spend family money, but there were not responsible for those expenditures for almost 10 years, landing quite a lot of husbands and fathers into debt jail. As men remained financially responsible for those women.
Even from getgo, from suffragettes, it was the same. You had entitled women, that were constantly whining about oppression, wandering around cities, contributing nothing, while giving men, that were not in uniforms, white feathers, as sign of cowardice. None of those women were in a rush to sign up as frontline nurses. Exactly same parasitic entitled faux moral superiority attitude persist to this day.
It is and always has been about giving women maximum privileges, with minimum accountability. And when you look at feminist from this angle, it is for equality, a perverted version of it. Normal people consider it being equality when both sexes have equal right and equal obligations. While feminist "equality" means women getting all the privileges, while men get all responsibilities. From that angle it all makes sense.
"Scientists have discovered fastest moving object in the universe - it is a woman avoiding accountability."

My mother was told she couldn’t be a doctor. My sister was told she could do anything she set her mind to. It’s a different world from 50 years ago, and any oppression I’ve heard my female peers complain about I have taken in the reverse.

You have a good point buried in their. Your mother was told she couldn't be a doctor, yet there was likely nothing actually stopping her. Too often people give up on something just because they are told, and so much of the oppression feminists talk about simply social pressure.
The complaint about being asked "when are you planning to have children" comes to mind. A simply question is often stated to be "constantly pressuring people to have kids". I hope our generation never has to learn what real oppression looks like, but I think we will soon.

Every male fantasy that you can think of was basically completed before the turn of the century. Almost every toy I played with growing up has had a movie or film franchise. Ninja Turtles, Transformers, every superhero movie...etc...etc.
not to mention power fantasies like 007, bad-asses like Terminator Rambo...etc..etc. We did it all. The issue is that it's seen as a problem or something to take away from the male audience. Replace Rambo with Ramba the lady version or turn over franchises that were traditionally male interests and remove the men...replace with women. That's happening mostly with Marvel/Star Wars....it's not going well.

It seems everything these days is being feminised or being made "gender natural". Women are allowed women stuff, but anything remotely masculine is treated as taboo. It doesn't make sense. There is nothing wrong with guys have guys stuff.
For companies like Disney pushing inclusivity, it's incredibly hypocritial. Men are the exception. They are to be treated badly to make a point. It's extremely bitter and rather sinister.

Look up the Hegelian Dialectic, the overreaction is intentional the same way you ask for way to much in a negotiation. The reason why feminism has waves is because they iterate through dialectics to move culture. You can find a handful of communists saying all the same things as modern feminists during the first wave.

The feminist movement will eventually realise that the society and values that gave them all this freedom and will continue to give them more freedom, depends on upholding those values for generations to come.
But if you choose not to have children and ensure that future generations and society uphold those values, then you cannot guarantee that those values will continue to exist.
Ergo, the very drive of feminism is self destructive.
No amount of gender reshuffling will get over the fact that biological women have the most important role in society - to create the next generation that ensures that the society that feminism wants and is totally reliant on, will continue.

How is that going to work when they don't even integrate to begin with? A lot of it is just hatred for white men for no reason, because they don't believe any other race of men are capable of evil, but they are going to have a real shock when the men they have been letting through the gates are their worst fears realised.

Early feminism made women focus on what's in it for them, not their kids, not their husbands, just them. "I'm doing this for me, I need to do something for myself once in a while". By contrast, men do what's best for their families, not themselves. This is what killed the family and why early feminism is far, far worse and should have been stopped.

The women who opposed suffrage knew exactly where this would lead. They saw the value in having men lead industry and politics and having women lead families and non-partisan social communities and they knew that disrupting this system would lead to extreme individualism.

    • @lottavuorinen
      @lottavuorinen 5 місяців тому +5

You're saying as if feminism somehow was bad for children or families in general. Have you thought that without it women wouldn't have the option to leave abusive husbands? Do you think that it's better for the children that the mother is forced to stay with a husband that potentially puts them in danger, instead of divorcing? Even in a good family, if a husband dies or is unable to provide anymore, the mother would be left without any stable income. In that situation, is it good for the children that they now struggle financially because the mother can't earn money, due to not having her own bank account and lack of education? Also the claim that "men do what's best for their families" and that women are in turn selfish is not based on any facts whatsoever. The leading cause of death of pregnant women in the US is murder by the partner, a woman is six times more likely to be left by her man after a diagnosis of cancer or multiple sclerosis than if a man in the relationship is the sick one, pedophilia and narcissism is more prevalent in men, women and children are more likely to die from natural disasters, and domestic violence is overwhelmingly perpetrated by men. You're trying to demonize the fact that women now have basic rights as if it's somehow debatable, and that tells more about you than the "feminism" you're talking about.
