1 week review of Amazonia version 2 9 kg mixed with fluval stratum 6 kg..
PH - 6.7
Plants are having a wonderful growth.
No issues of algae till now .
Amazonia version 2 dont make water cloudy ...or a very light cloudyness but settled faster than fluval stratum ... My tank was crystal clear within Half hour (Pour water Slowly )
Amazonia version 2 is perfectly balanced than any other products I have used till now . High on required nutrition of plants . I believe it's a must have for any planted tank .

@@storyworld565 you can use good fertilisers, but the growth will not be that great, it will be better the it is now,
or you could reshape the tank, and this time use the power sand

Very nicely explained !! Just one question .... What should be water change frequency compared to the previous two versions of Amazonia? After new setup within how many days we need a first water change ...
The water change routine remains the same for all soils,
daily water change for the first week then reduce to a weekly water change but the first month

@@MayurDevAquascaper After set up new tank with Amazonia version 2 i noticed ph level is buffering between 6 to 6.5 but the Ammonia level and Nitrate level shoot up very high. The current Ammonia level is between 1 to 2 ppm and the Nitrate level is around 70 to 80 ppm. So, as I asked earlier also is it related to daily water change ? What percentage of daily water change is required? My tank size is 90x45x45 cm . First two days I changed 20 lts water . Now on third day 30% water change will work to bring down the level of ammonia and nitrate as per desired level ? Eagerly waiting for your valuable inputs ....
@@samiranchakraborty9209 What you have experienced is correct, do a 30% water change for the first week and add the necessary fertilisers and make sure co2 and lights are ON for the time required
I am happy WITH Amazonia 2. Its working very good for me. Please suggest if I should buy Version 2 or Amazonia 2 is alryt for contest tanks.
If you are using Amazonia 2 then there is no need to change but if you want to start a new tank then it is best to start with the Amazonia ver2

if is is 3x1.5x1.5 then you will need about 3 to 5 bags depending on the layout and aquascape

2}How to add water in tank so that substrate doesn't get disturbed . Does it make the water cloudy? ....I usually ise a styrofoam sheet of 5 inches by 5 inches with slated edges to fill water ...
1. Yes there is 100% possibility, if your lights, co2, fertilisers and the number of plants used are not correct

Now maintenance is a very important part of keeping a planted aquarium, It should be done weekly and you should make sure every inch of your tank

Hi Sir, just last Saturday 29th August I had been to SWA Bangalore to buy some stuff. I bought basic soil and aqua soil Amazonia. I had watched some of your videos before I went there. when I asked him about ver 2. He said the old version is more effective than the newer version as these are made with natural ingredients and gave me a example of bio Rio and bio Rio G. As advised by him I picked the old version not even the Amazonia ||, older than that. Am very confused now. Was it sold to me to clear the stock by any chance.
Truth be told, this depends on the conversation you had, if you are a beginner I would have never given you the old version as it is more prone to algae issues
No the Old version is very good, and very effective, I also like to use it but again there will be more algae issues, if you do not have the right lights, Co2 and fertiliser
@@MayurDevAquascaper yes unfortunately am a beginner and I did inform him. My bad luck. I did rechecked with the person who spoke to me and he said this is the original soil and he has used the same and has seen better results. As a starter we take suggestions from experts. That's the reason we buy things directly from the vendor so that they guide us. Anyways no hard feelings.. it's all an experience. Thanks for the response Sir.

After how long do I need to replace the soil if I’m also using power sand and root tabs?
You can use the soil for at least 3 years, if you are reshaping just add a bit of soil from the top if needed

I have a question..currently amazonia soil is out of stock in my area(in Bangladesh) but i found 2 bags of amazonia from my nearby ADA dealer but 1 bag is amazonia 1 and the other one is amazonia version 2 so if use both will it be a problem??i mean if i use amazonia 1 and then the version 2 and dont use the supplements....can i do that?
Mayur ji I have been trying to contact your mumbai office, but there is no response to the calls. Last evening the security in Bangalore said that the office is closed (by 7pm) despite of mentioned that it remains open till 8pm.

Firstly why are you talking to bangalore offie to connect with mumbai office, also we are closed on Sundays, best is to leave a WhatsApp message and the ten will revert back to you, better yet try calling on WhatsApp
Does it leach ammonium? How long to cycle before adding fish?
Yes there is ammonium in the soil that is very important for the root growth in the first couple of weeks,
Regular water changes and in 30 days you can add your fish
@@MayurDevAquascaper I have made my aquascape, with ozpolish bacteria added to the substrate. did daily waterchanges for 3 days and added my fish. all my fishes and plants are thriving. no noticable ammonia/nitrate spike (no fish gasping/struggling), crystal clear water (which i had from day one itself) I think amazonia version 2 is the best yet.

also please use super 4 bacteria the bedtime around, Super 4 contains a 100 types of bacteria beneficial for an Aquarium
