love that splinter and april are both playable characters, and how true to the animated series the art style is, and how they captured the feeling of the original arcade game while making it feel new

technically, this is not old school ... it's just not 3D but anything else is pretty much high 2D tech and sound that was not available before in such quality

The only thing I have a problem with is that they couldn't fit all 7 characters in for multi-player. Other than that, this is an awesome game. I'm glad I got it. Looks like the next two upcoming games are using the same animation style as this game. Toxic Crusaders and Double Dragon. I'm gonna have to play those as well when they get released.
I'm so impressed they managed to fit the UI of 6 players into that tiny section at the top of the screen, and STILL be visible
