I follow lots of garages on YT and I think you could be as good as any of them. If you build it they will come!!! I would suggest holding off on 'oops I'm waffling' type comments - someone will learn something the more you're willing to share and if they think you're too long winded they'll skip ahead. It just makes it more watchable and professional if you complete your thoughts with confidence. Looking forward to the next one...
I put £7 of diesel in my cbf1000 last year, slip road onto A19 from forecourt and my mate on his GS disappeared in the smoke, initially I thought I had dropped a valve, it was running really badly and my mate suggested I had put diesel in, we sniffed the tank and there was no smell of diesel at all, I ran the bike to the next services where it was decided that the LEJOG Charity run was over for me. I was quite close to Thirsk so I called into Teesdale motorcycles and he immediately diagnosed diesel, I argued the point and he asked if I had my receipt... Felt a right tit but he drained the tank put some injector cleaner in, pushed the bike to the local petrol station and sent me on my way all for Gratis... I subsequently achieved my best ever MPG figures which was surprising because I was thrashing to meet up with my friends again. It was Shell diesel so I don't know if they use some sort of deodorant to mask the usual smell.
I guess the owner thought it was a limited edition diesel after all! But If it's not actually diesel in the fuel, you know you mentioned the owner thought that the bike was using oil and that the oil level was low... do you reckon they might have been checking the level on the side-stand, obviously reading low, adding excess oil, and the oil's been blowing through the PCV and into the intake? That said, I suppose when taking it apart you would have noticed if the airbox had become an auxiliary oil reservoir ;) Nice easy fix either way - better than taking the head off!
I think he fill up a litlle of diesel fuel into a tank , engine start and works , but smoke. Ride it about 30min and there will be no smoke in sillencer, This engines are bulletproof and is hard to kill it easlly.
My three cylinder 125 was just the same, so I watched your video and went out and fixed mine. Many thanks.

Great to see you're doing more vids. Sound dodgy at 8.30. Always interesting. Keep it up Jim 👍
Someone's been trying to run it on a 2 stroke mix perhaps ?
mcycle24 that was my hunch too. Easy enough to do it you keep both in the garage. Hope we get a wrap-up, James !
Yep agreed. 2 stroke mixed fuel.
Exactly my thoght.
Hooray for part three. When I find my credit card I will make payment. Great content mate. Keep up the good work

Maybe a spare gallon of 2 stroke mix went in.
Great video thanks...I learn something every time I watch one.
I do that all the time but the ratio usually ends up ~100:1
So the owner topped up the oil... INTO THE FUEL TANK.
I've been there with the oil-control ring. I had the wrong expander ring in; burnt oil like buggery but the compression was fine.
2 stroke oil in the gas tank!! Wooww i'm not surprise, seen that before on a 4 stroke mini bike of a friend of mine
How come the audio switches from side to side, really annoying to listen to :) Nice diagnosis!
Awesome video
Contminated fuel from the pump? Does happen sometimes
great vid good info jim
How do you do a compression test on a bike with fly-by-wire throttle? Guessing it wouldn't be as efficient?
Gonna be hard to get people to help out your channel with no patreon link in the description !
Why does oil in the combustion chamber cause excessive compression?
Did he maybe put a lot of Seafoam in it?
Maybe the owner was training for the red arrows?
I filled the harley with diesel by mistake, it did run better for a few minutes😂

WD40 probably... it does stop squeaking hinges,.so why not squeaking engines?
Lol, wrong fuel.
bad gasi bet
Looks. Like 2stroke oil
Everytime u say dont waffle Jim youre actually waffling not fun for us listeners
Shutup
Is the owner a Mercedes F1 fan?
;))))
Ciao
