- I am finally done styling the house that is aligned with my lifestyle. Each space has been well thought out to serve its purpose.
White and wood theme is the main emphasis, as I wanted very much to emulate the Korean apartments which I simply adore.

Beautifully designed and furnished home - even down to the choice of kitchen appliances! It never even occurred to me that a coffee station could be where you've placed it. Absolutely love how the dining area is graced by the round space in the wall (not sure what it's called). Having the curtains, in addition to the venetian blinds, makes the bedroom look more elegant too! Also, a great idea to have the glass sliding doors for the bedroom - allows so much more natural light to flood your home. Two questions - what is the standalone electric stove that you use? And what is needed to keep water from seeping into the laminated countertop, at the farmhouse sink area? Thanks!

As for your questions, I am using Bertazzoni standing cooker with electric oven. And as water seeping into the laminated countertop, there’s nothing much really as I always have a cloth standby to wipe down my countertop after every wash. Hope this info helps 😊👍🏽

I have a few questions.
1. How much and where did you get your main gate from? I love the white metal gate and wood coloured main door but it will definitely be dirty when the cleaner come and wash the common corridor. It will be a chore to scrub n clean. That is my concern but I super love the colour.
2. Did you have a movable counter top between the fridge and the stove?
4. Where did you get your toilet swing and slide door and shower area glass door partition from? Is there enough space in the shower area to fit another sitting stool? And where did you get your glass partition between the living room and bedroom? Having a glass partition, does it affect your privacy when guests come over? Although, I like the spacious feel with the glass partition but I may also want to add some storage over that area when I get my house. So my sofa will be facing my bed.
5. Where did you get your bathroom tiles from? the terrazzo is so pretty but does it stain easily?
Hi there. Here are the replies to your queries.
1. The cost for the gate is S$880 and part of the total renovation works. I engaged the ID, LemonFridge Studio and they managed everything for me. Honestly, I prefer things to be white as it is much easier to detect dirt. I use a wet cloth to wipe the gate. Not so tedious 😊
2. No, I do not have a movable counter top.
4. My bathroom door, shower screen and sliding glass door are part of my total renovation works. If you intend to place a shower stool inside, walking space would be limited.
As for privacy, I installed night curtain alongside the sliding door. So, I have the option to slide the curtain over as and when privacy is required. Otherwise, it remains by the side and the entire house is bright and airy.
5. All tiles are from Hafary and so far, I've not seen any major stains as I wipe them down after shower.

@@yoongimarryme9053 Yup, they fit well. My advice is to compare furniture dimensions against your floor plan. You will have a better idea if it'd fit in the allocated space.

Very nice reno! I see that you have changed the metal gate and redo your main door. They are beautifully done. Do you need to get permit from HDB to do that?

It's important to take note dimensions of your loose furniture eg. sofa, TV console, bed, etc. so that you can map out the layout of any built-in cabinet. Great to have a moodboard and stick to it religiously and don't get swayed by impractical trends. Take note of the expenses too, so that you have a better idea of the overall budget. Get at least three quotes from ID, and best if you have seen their works in person so that you can gauge the workmanship.

Hi there. Yes, you are absolutely right. I wanted to cover the indent wall (HDB original wall) as I wanted a flushed wall for the dining area. And the circular niche was created for decor purposes. Hope this helps :)
Bathroom also ! Why no quartz top? The tap will shake after some time cause the water kana into laminate into the ply inside helps 😢

I need to submit hle once approved i im waiting fir my house to complete in 2024 july so before july i take key wil i need to submit my hle again as in my pay slip to show them. Because i had show them 2 years ago thats shere they approved my loan last time. Not sure if i needs to show payslips again 😅
Hi there, sorry for the late reply. As far as I could remember, I brought along the approved HLE letter on the day of keys collection. As I paid my house in full, I need not show them anything else. Perhaps, you should bring along your latest payslip together with the approved HLE letter. Hope this helps.
