ah see 4 is greater than first value which is 1 so u take 0 on top of 1 to move to second number which in together is 10.
reason behind taking 0 is only on those places where the numbet comes down 0 like 1032 ÷ 5 then 0206 now no number left take point . then 4 so answer is 0206.4 which is 206.4

I would divide 4 by 1000 because that's easier, and get 250. Then divide 4 by 32 and get 8, then add 250 to 8 and get 258. Easier to do in my head this way.
