I just received my TSI-1 and I absolutely love it. Totally reimagined by Park Tool with this design and also well made. A fool proof and stress free way to add tubeless sealant to my 29x3 tires. Kudos!
I’m gonna try it since the Stan’s injector makes a mess with Presta valves no matter how slow you go. And the injector/syringe looks well made, similar to the ones from their brake bleed kits.
One more item to add to my home shop. For all the people complaining about the tool. Yes this isn't something you really need but trust me, if you do a lot of work on bikes these oddball tools can really help out.
This is one of those things I feel stupid for not buying earlier. I must have tried every other way to handle sealant, but honestly they are all messy and terrible. This is well thought out, can be pulled apart and cleaned very easily.
Yeah, I had spoken to Stans and they advised the Race Ready formula is supposed to be poured by the side of the tire, then mount & inflate. I think its written in the label somewhere, but like most of us "we" dont read anything anymore.
Is this a new product? I will probably order one. I have not been happy with the KOM Cycling Tubeless Sealant Injector Syringe. The rubber grommet always comes off the plastic syringe when withdrawing sealant from the bottle. The Park Tool TSI-1 looks like a much higher quality and would not encounter this issue.
This is a new product. We use a silicone O ring that is basically impossible to pull off when drawing out sealant. This product works great with valves with large passthrough holes like the Industry nine valves.
@@parktool fantastic - i know that its a more pricey option, but I've spilled and wasted lots of sealant with existing injectors on the market. I favor using an injector and I feel like this product fills a much needed void. Ordering one now.
@@parktool When will this be available and what is the O.D. of the tube? I also have the KOM and over time the plunger sticks. Hard to clean out sealant residue from the plunger tube and I've tried everything.
Just bought one. The injector dribbles sealant all over the place once it’s filled up and none of the videos ever show after extracting it from the bottle what do you do next because you have to invert it quickly otherwise it just dribbles sealant everywhere and you’re in the same boat as you were before with having to clean up a mess. Plus you now need to clean out the injector afterwards- more potential for mess
This isn't terrible for $25.00. I have a cheaper one from amazon that came with two or three little straw things to intake the fluid into the syringe and inject into the tire... and I'm not going to replace it with this. But knowing how nice all my other parktool investments have been I'm sure this thing is super nice... Again looking at the product vid I thought it would come it at 50 to 70 dollars but at 25.00 I'm like "Ehhh, I'm sure they'll sell some."
@@Pienimusta fiddling with the tube? all he did was put the tube into the valve. this is professional grade tool with metal threads and ability to be disassembled, not some ghetto homegamer workaround
They included a link to the product page, which shows the price. If they put the price in the video, then they have to redo the video when the price changes. That's not shame, that's intelligence.
@ Sam Henderson - There’s a free thing called Google. Type in the name of the product, and you can literally see what it costs in a few seconds. And again, it’s free dummy. 😆

Yup. Gonna order one
Will this work with Stan's Race Sealant or will it clog the injector?
It will clog. Because of the clumps.
@@CFoss09 I use a cheaper amazon syringe with a thin straw, with Stans and it works fine. I occasionally just clean the straws with brake cleaner
How is it to clean?
Super easy. Unthread the metal collet and clean the sealant out of the straw then rinse the syringe with water and boom, good to go.
Stans “The Injector” has left the chat
Does this work with CushCore installed?
It sure does! Just saw Calvin and Truman use the TSI-1 with a CushCore installed but moments ago.
What if you don’t have a valve core which the reserve Fillmore don’t have a valve core
Then this will not work directly. Open the tire bead and pour in the sealant.
@ 🤣🤣🤣 what is your out on a trail
Will it work with thicker fluids such as Stan's Race?
It will not work with Stans race. At least not with the straw attached.
@@parktool Thank you

This works with orange seal. What happened with the KOM?
@@parktool it had too narrow of an inner diameter to not clog immediately
@@OriginalGabriel I experienced the same thing. I used the Orange Seal Endurance.

It may seem silly but actually a large syringe with a strong plunger is very useful, so much more than an overpriced bottle opener.
Ha my bike has a problem it is wile pedling my bike and stope pedling my bike gare comes frent and back what is rong
Nice 🙂
Does the injector leak sealent after fill it up or no
The injector does not leak afterwards. It should be cleaned afterwards too. Cleaning up afterwards is important to prevent the injector from clogging.

What does this do to your valve stem if you inject the sealant in there does it screw up your valve if you have to add air in the future
This does not effect the valve stem. You can still add sealant down the road as normal as well as add or remove air.
@@parktool very well
I accidentally injected sealant into my water bottle braze-on, please help.
I've got Peaty's sealant...straw will clog...
Nice
I'm sure I've seen a vet use this.
Just use a 50ml syringe with a piece of tubing on the end... buy it for almost nothing at your nearest pharmacy or medical supplies shop.
Well since I use Stan's this ain't going to work for me.
Does Stan’s work for anybody? Orange Seal Endurance.
Stans works great in this. The race formula however does not work in any injector.
Works great with Orange Seal and Orange Seal's Endurance formula.
@@parktool thank you Park Tools for that clarification.
Next thing you know, you'll guys be re-inventing the wheel (or something)... probably
genius but you can just use a big medical siringe with a bit of hose

Get your tubes vaccinated lol
Just buy one small bottle and one large bottle of the sealant of your choice. This seems overpriced.
