To be fair, every sealant clogs valves and the core over time. This the core has to be replaced or cleaned periodically. In the video I talk bout the Stan’s Race can”t even get through the valve since it is so thick. So that is the super-clogger. Good for sealing flats but not for valves
I have used a $5 Char-Griller BBQ Marinade Injector to do this and other tasks for years. Added a silicone tube on to the needle end of the appropriate size.
Thanks!
very cool!
Nice tool. just ordered one.
Hope you enjoy it!
Francis - How effective does the injector tube work as a ‘dipstick’ - my idea is to always 2X sealant so it will read on a pre-ride check
If the valve allows the needle to go through to the bottom of the tire, it's 90% effective
Do you know if WTB is compatible with Stans? Or more generally can you mix sealants?
Yes, compatible. I do find that WTB mad Bontrager sealant don’t break down as fast as Stans
Thanks Francis! Do you think the regular Stan's sealant clogs valves?

Good idea as there were no dialed syringe solutions before. Now the Park Tool is a good one that solves a lot of issues
Once every few years? ;p
