I am 90% sure Marx being playable in Star Allies is just a case of "villain that wants power realizes there's a bigger fish about to show up and teams up with the hero for pragmatic reasons" rather than a genuine change of heart.
Actually, that's the true reason why he did that. In the japanese version of the game, Marx mentions in his flavor text in the main line of the game how he genuinely felt scared when he sensed Void and the Jambastion cult. So he returned to Kirby, told him what was happening, and indeed teamed up with him to save his butt. Later on, in the Guest Star mode, Marx starts to realize thanks to his adventure with Kirby that he genuinely missed having a connection with someone, and his Guest Star mode story goes around the concept of Marx wanting to rule the galaxy with the new power he learned: friendship. So yeah, Marx only has a somewhat change of heart (perhaps, as I think that Guest Star Mode isn't canon as far as I know) until that very moment. The whole deal of "he was hungry" comes thanks to the US censorship and weird translation choices, which decided to make the game a little lighter. You know, as they also erased the "please die for our god" bit of the Hyness ramble.

Regarding Galacta Knight, he is definitely canon, though the fights with him are not. It's more or less confirmed that he was one of the heroes that originally sealed away Void Termina. Canonically, he is still sealed away. Meanwhile, Morpho Knight seems to be the equivalent of the Grim Reaper, consuming exceptionally powerful souls to temporarily gain or regain a proper body. While it's fun to assume every orange and red butterfly seen in most Kirby openings is Morpho Knight, there are also plenty of cutscenes with more than one (though that doesn't disprove that they may all be Morpho Knights in waiting). A common theory that I've seen is that Morpho Knight intends to consume Kirby but is unable to as Kirby's power is even greater than his own. From the description of the Morpho Knight Sword ability, those who wield his sword can claim his power and take his form. "For Kirby, handling this power is... a breeze." This suggests that Kirby is indeed more powerful than Morpho Knight and can even wield his power without becoming Morpho Knight. There's also the nature of Chaos Elfilis and how it, too, wields Morpho Knight's power after Kirby defeated Morpho Knight who had just consumed Soul Forgo (notably, Soul Forgo requires Morpho Knight to be incapacitated by an outside force to control his power and complete itself). To me, this suggests that there's something else to the whole Dark Matter, Heart Matter, Soul Matter, and Dream Matter thing that I've seen thrown around and that would be Chaos or Chaos Matter, which Morpho Knight either wields or embodies.
The question is where does meta knight come into play if morpho knight seeks out strong beings does meta knight know that??? As he has a long running theme of wanting to be the strongest

My theorie on Susie Susie was thrown into another dimention, i think this is the forgotten land. She helps the residents (who i think we still have to meet) advance technologically. Much time has passed, since we know time moves diffrently in the forgotten land and she grew up faster then normal. Evantually the scientist from the forgotten land find out about elfilis. They capture and use him to be able to warp. That is how susie was able to return to haltman. That also explains what information she got about life on the 'other world' as she calls it. wait i love this theory that would explain so much if this indeed correct i'd love a side game where we play as susie and it explains what happened after she got accidentally warped tbh

I’m pretty sure the lore behind Galacta Knight with him being the ultimate warrior is canon to the main storyline, it’s just his fights with Meta Knight and Kirby that’s are non-canon
I do disagree with some parts of the video, but it's mostly because the games translate the original japanese lore pretty terribly. I'm just really happy to see more people getting into Kirby lore though! This is also just amazingly well edited

if i was super into kirby the whole way through and like 100%ed every single game i know for a fact i wouldve cried hearing the chiptune green greens part of that void song
Honestly I take issue with Void being evidence for Kirby and Dark Matter being the same. In a snippet of infamously lost in translation lore, we have the following. "There exists as many “Nil” flying about freely as there are different skies. Seeing him shine like a star, people of ancient times left behind a book of mysteries. Dream, Dark, Soul, Heart… All of chaos and potential gathered in these types of matter, the creator of the origin is born. The being that will be left behind in a new book, is it a destroyer god, or a star ally?" This to me tell us this. Void is the source of dark matter, of everything in the Kirby-verse. He was essentially its big bang, and when this happened, many pieces of the original void broke off along with the four matters, being blank canvases to be imprinted on by whatever they come across in their journeys across the cosmos. In the case of the Void we fight, this was one heavily corrupted by dark matter, and after Hyness threw himself into it, pretty much imprinted his will on it additionally for Void to become a god of destruction. Once they are ejected out, Void sees Kirby, and feels something for him, and starts mimicking, now having more room to be imprinted on with Hyness gone. So it's less to me that Kirby is Dark Matter and more Dark Matter came from Void and Kirby is one of many Voids that was imprinted on with friendship and shit. Potentially the same for Meta and Galacta, but tbh they as a whole make Void even more of a headache.
I like to think that Void is basically the Christian God: it's nothing, but everything at the same time. This would explain stuff like Meta and Galacta Knight.
I can't believe I'm only getting this now but Star Allies was an end of a saga, and moving forward with The Forgotten Land, new worlds and characters will be explored bringing in new lore and hopefully answers to a lot of questions.
So does that mean that Kirby is the Kratos of the Kirby universe? I mean if Kirby was void termina at some point that means Kirby is a god of some sort
Void Termina is killed and turned into Gooey that we meet in the beginning of the timeline, the same Gooey that can fight alongside Kirby and kill it former self.
I have a small theory about void, after you defeat him, he smiles as he explodes, because you gave him the power of friendship, *the positive energy,* and afterwards, you unlock an old kirby, *how kirby was in the beggining,* so, after you defeat void, he absorbs the positive energy and creates a new kirby, thats why this new kirby is old school kirby, because he is kirby newborn/from the beggining
A theory I've heard is that there is a huge giant God that is essentially just void, however depending on how much positivity or negativity he receives he will create a different form. my theory is that Kirby was created from all of that positivity and then the dark matter was created from all the negativity highness had been making to reseurect void termina
1:04:54 I'd say void is the starting point, the origin of all that is round and unnecessarily powerful, Dark matter is the opposite of kirby, but yeah nice :)
I believe it is a note that stars are a huge part in this game series. Obviously, the entire planet that then games usually take place on is a star and Kirby always is riding on a star, but it seems like portals in general are all star shaped. Why would that be other than just aesthetic? Well with forgotten land, there's an obvious answer. Fecto Elfilis very likely opens the portal that pulls everyone into the Forgotten Land, and it's heavily implied that the reason there is no people inhabiting the city is because they all left using him. Is also makes me question why It is such a huge thing that's in every single game that Kirby rides on a star to get in places. It's always been so prominent but nobody ever seems to ask any questions about it, which is the same thing people did with the butterfly, And It turned out to be able to absorb very powerful creatures.
Is it possible that each member of the dark matter species??? is made of a different negative emotion, like the dark matter swordsman is made of loneliness and zero is made of the hate of everything...
Loved this video! I finally finished watching it. I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into it! Void is my favorite character so I'm glad you talked about them

edit: and you didnt even get into morpho knight (or galacta, who is canon because morpho is also canon) or any of the forgotten land stuff that hadnt released at the time of this video
not to mention the mage sisters horrific backstory and how hyness wasnt always so insane or that adeline is literally the only human left in existence
Nah, Galacta Knight still isn't canon. Morpho being how it is without Galacta Knight just means that form is unrelated to Galacta's appearance.
Waitwhat Adeline is *what?*
@@baimhakani maybe not the only, but one of the only, earth is uninhabitable yo.
@@BalrogQuote the lore for void nonsense kinda makes him canon, and insane jipee might’ve sealed him
I love how Kirby has no Idea about anything that’s going on with the lore, he just sees an evil doer attacking his friends/planet and goes “oh shit, gotta go kill that guy”

One of the most underrated anime openings
My favorite bit of pause screen lore is that Sectonia had fed off countless hosts over a thousand years. Meaning that all characters pre-Amazing Mirror...
Are over 1,000 years old.
Even the hamster.
OH FUCK OH MY GOD NO
@@hengli78 I KNOW RIGHT IT'S FUCKED UP
Wrinkly ass hampter
Does the anime characters count?! Did Sectonia freaking eat Tiff and Stuff since Kirby was a legit baby?
@@PicelBoi Nah, I don't think so. I feel like Kirby, by his species' standards, is still a little baby, and if we're going by game and anime canon combined, one of Kirby's best friends being latched onto by a parasite would be cause for its total destruction.
I remember when me and my brother saw highnesses dialogue, we took like, 52 pictures to try and figure out the lore
Thank goodness for the slowed-down video of that cutscene on UA-cam... x'D
My theorie on Susie
Susie was thrown into another dimention, i think this is the forgotten land.
This would explain every plot hole in both games, and maybe the warriors in the mech suit where the ones from the forgotten land???
wait i love this theory that would explain so much if this indeed correct
i'd love a side game where we play as susie and it explains what happened after she got accidentally warped tbh
Yeah
Except that we see Susie in the parallel dimension from return to dreamland, where she finds out about the sphere doomers, and in kirby clash she can use dimensional warps directly from her suit
@@diamondmemer9754 i dont concider kirby clash canon and i dont know where you found info connecting suzie to dreamland (would love if this is true rttdl is my fav game)
@@Spher0 the new remake of kirby's return to dreamland literally confirms that kirby clash is kirby canon
And the holographic defense system from planet robobot contains holograms of the sphere doomers, with their pause description stating they were encoutnered by Susie in her journey
I absolutely love how some people say that star allies bossrush mode isn't canon but then count astral birth and such from that very gamemode canon
The way you emphasized Star Allies' connections to the previous games was brilliant! It really shows how it was a tribute to the series as a whole. Can't believe this little pink puff ball is on par with gods
"Literally everyone is here, for one big finale"
Forgotten land: *Doubt*
I appreciate that the final blow on Magolor has the exact same sound effect as the normal sword.
"Then she took over Florida and ruled it with an iron fist...." funny quote. 10/10
i love all of the insanity this video offers and all of the editing, it makes the video fun to watch and doesn’t feel like i’m just listening to a lecture against my will
Can't wait to see how the lore in FL ties into all of this
Spoilers
It really doesn't.
@@DarthMolgy yeah Fl seems real disconnect from all the previously established lore I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it, it all feels very underwhelming
Spoilers
There’s Morpho Knight’s canon appearance, the Ancients possibly originating from the Forgotten Land and ID-F86’s possible connection to both the Another Dimension portals and Void.
@@ghengiroo4143 yeah that's what I was thinking too! Spoilers:
I'm pretty sure it mentioned somewhere that whoever used to live in that world learned how to create portals by studying ID-F86. I think it's a safe bet to say that this world is tied to the ancients somehow, but it's still not 100% confirmed.
@@DarthMolgy no its very connected
I’m just reminded over and over that Kirby is such a freaking badass. Period.
Dude you forgot the part where Kirby steals a tomato and yarn guy sends him to yarn land.
The game: cute and light platformer
The lore: God is dead and everything has been tried and failed against the ravages of time, greed and the void. Weep for the end is nigh and is only held back by the spawn of an elder god who only knows hunger and pray in thanks to what gods are left that he wants to befriend all
Kirby is so mess up and confusing at so many points that it both mind destroying and hilarious at the same time
Tspro: "The Finale"
Kirby Forgotten Land: "Are you sure about that?"
Yeah.
I love how the intentionally obvious fake ending is a callback to the first game before being like yeah this obviously isn't the end lol
I’m pretty sure the lore behind Galacta Knight with him being the ultimate warrior is canon to the main storyline, it’s just his fights with Meta Knight and Kirby that’s are non-canon
Until Forgotten Land came along.
21:27 HAD ME DYING!!!! it's cause you hear the triumphant music and tspro just curses ☠️☠️☠️
hyness was maybe not the scariest boss in the kirby universe but he was by far the most DISTURBING and you did a perfect job explaining why😥
*You got 2 flavors of Kirby Villain:*
1. Characters with tragic backstories
2. Eldritch Horror (Usually Dark Matter's Cousin or something)
I do disagree with some parts of the video, but it's mostly because the games translate the original japanese lore pretty terribly. I'm just really happy to see more people getting into Kirby lore though! This is also just amazingly well edited
Doubt you’ll see this, but the friends in Kirby Star Allies have different pause screen descriptions for Guest Star ????: Star Allies Go! mode than the regular modes. You just have to hop on top of them and pause, or have a second player join and pause for them.
He just slowly goes insane during the video
Thank you for this masterpiece. This video has taught me many educational things that will stay with me for the rest of my life. This piece has kept me captivated since the release to me writing this comment. This will always be cherished in my brain and will be cherished for my entire family. Thank you for this Masterpiece sincerely, Tom Ebenezer Bennet Esquire.
shut up
This is a Kirby lore video.
Wtf are you on can I have it
You can tell this guy is very fat in real life.
8:29 change of heart, hes more like an animal that agreed to combly, it litterary says it in his pause lore " as long as hes well fed".
It's a funny joke, but there's obviously a little more to his character than just "me hungry". Maybe he's just a wildly unpredictable little dude.
He is the stoner friend that needs his hungry to satiated, if not his full power will come out. And by full power I mean something stupid but not harmful to anyone but himself.
@@LakinMae5 he made the sun and moon fight.
this is by far the funniest, and most entertaining Kirby lore out there! Great job!
Voids face when you beat him…. He was happy to be put back to rest and let his positive avatar take over
every Kirby game in one sentence it's time to make friends and kill gods and I'm all out of friends
gotta make some more friends first....
....and then kill gods. kill them several times over if there's an arena. ;D
22:29 and in that moment, kirby unleashed one tiny fraction of his power...
if i was super into kirby the whole way through and like 100%ed every single game i know for a fact i wouldve cried hearing the chiptune green greens part of that void song
Dream, Dark, Soul, Heart…
All of chaos and potential gathered in these types of matter, the creator of the origin is born.
The being that will be left behind in a new book, is it a destroyer god, or a star ally?"
This to me tell us this.
“-that surprisingly passed the E rating”
god.
“Its just a game about a cute pink circle,it cant have any significance”
The cute pink circle in question:
As a Floridian, I can confirm that at least we do have pretty nice flowers.
53:09 no he wasn’t angry with her she was just kind of in the way of the path so he moved her
He is god filled with good vibes
Magalor soul was absolute hell for me to beat at first, I gave up for like 12 years and then when I finally went back I beat it immediately.
I can't believe I'm only getting this now but Star Allies was an end of a saga, and moving forward with The Forgotten Land, new worlds and characters will be explored bringing in new lore and hopefully answers to a lot of questions.
As a floridain, i can approve that this did happen in florida on the day kriby triple deluexe came out but it only lasted for a day
I love how Planet Robobot is basically just Gurren Lagann.
void souls description literally gave me chills especially when you showed kirby
So does that mean that Kirby is the Kratos of the Kirby universe?
I mean if Kirby was void termina at some point that means Kirby is a god of some sort
Spring Breeze is mostly just a rehash of the plot of Kirby’s Dreamland 1
Void Termina is killed and turned into Gooey that we meet in the beginning of the timeline, the same Gooey that can fight alongside Kirby and kill it former self.
Or Kirby killing a dark version of himself that gets reincarnated as the Kirby at the start of the timeline.
"kirby super star allies". never have i felt more confusion.
Kirby breaks the 4th wall by inhaling the hp bars somtimes
8:56
Marx: Hey Kirby, look what I -
Kirby: DON'T YOU DARE
“Then, she took over all of florida.”
all i got so far is that you somehow connected the loonaverse to kirby lore
I always felt bad for all the nova stars, especially star dream. Star dream gets freaking torn in half with such an expression 😭
1:04:54 I'd say void is the starting point, the origin of all that is round and unnecessarily powerful,
Dark matter is the opposite of kirby, but yeah nice :)
"Oh I attempt to research the lore of the most complicates series in gaming"

Kingdom Hearts: Hold my keyblade
The editing here is genuinely so funny 😭‼️ fantastic video very educational 😩👌✨
Is it possible that each member of the dark matter species??? is made of a different negative emotion, like the dark matter swordsman is made of loneliness and zero is made of the hate of everything...
That's actually a really cool idea
Marx: got a plan? Kirby: poyo! Marx: just the way i like it free bird starts playing
Yes, I will sit here for an hour learning about Kirby lore 👍
Edit: Also great job explaining Milky Way wishes, also died laughing at some parts.
Loved this video! I finally finished watching it. I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into it! Void is my favorite character so I'm glad you talked about them
when you notice this is 0.00000001% of kirby lore
In star Allie’s all the villains were like can’t beat ‘em join them
I love the little sound that pops up whenever dark matter pops up, it's so funny
dark matter trilogy is kirby phase one, return to dreamland all the way to star allies is phase two, and forgeted land (yes that was intentional) begins phase three
You put so effort into this!
Btw Marx is apparently only willing to help if he’s well fed otherwise oh no
Forgotten Land is here and it raises more and more questions about humanity and where it is
Kirby lore the only place where you are afraid of cute things ESPECIALLY BUTTERFLY
It the one specific butterfly though, once you see it you know it the one.
@@LakinMae5 are we sure is always the same butterfly... because every time it fucking die or explode...and we seen more than one all together in the forgotten land morphoknight stage
