Notre Dame is very good at running. VERY good. I understand that IU is good at stopping the run, but Notre Dame's athletes in Love, Price, and Leonard are absolutely elite and very much slept on nationally because of their shared snaps. All three of those guys are over 6 yards a run (and all have plenty of carries). I will be very interested to see how the game progresses, but I genuinely think ND should go for 200+ rushing. I wish we didn't have to take out IU in the first round, because IU has been a fun team to watch. Go Irish!
my comment was deleted for some odd reason so i'll leave another....you won't beat indiana by running the football. i don't care who your running backs are. you will win by passing and blitzing constantly on defense
Your backs arent better than Ohio states, and they struggled. Nd has a beastly oline so that’s a key. I don’t think people realize that iu is going to spread nd out similar to what usc did. But Indiana has a much better defense than usc. Notre dame favs but it’s a one possession game
Such a rude match to do to our state. Im a big fan of both teams. NCAA, You just guaranteed one doesn't advance. Yeah, I know one does, but stil, let their play detemine it.
Keep doubting IU. It will make them more determined. A lot of weapons on offense and a run defense that held UM and OSU in check. Remember they lost at OSU mostly because of 2 uncharacteristic special teams mistakes. This will be a good game.
That won’t help when we have three guys averaging over 6 yards a carry, the best defense you’ve played, and one of the better offensive line units you’ve played lol
@@micah7405 I think Ohio State's defense may be a little better than ours. However, we have a much better offensive rushing attack than Ohio State does. IU hasn't seen a rushing attack like ours yet.

NCAA did this to us. Rude. I like both. Do you think this was a seeding "coincidence"? I don't appreciate a guaranteed loss of either out of the box. One will advance, but still, let them both compete separately. Maybe they would meet later.

The funny thing is that Notre Dame has played a pretty weak schedule themselves. Their stats are also inflated because of their schedule. I think most feel Army is overrated and that is their only ranked win. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
My prediction: ND is sloppy and IU gets out to a 2 score lead midway thru the 2nd quarter; then ND scores right before half. IU starts 2nd half slow and ND’s talent takes over, pulls ahead, wins going away. ND 41-24 😢. Go Hoosiers, but talent makes all the difference.
