I've slowly stopped watching your videos once I bought an electric guitar, but recently I've been trying to learn some "campfire guitar", i.e. songs that involve playing and singing, and I'm slowly watching your videos more and more. Thank you for being such an inspiration to me and many other aspiring guitarists all over the world, I hope you gain much more subscribers because you're underrated, you teach in a perfect manner and at a perfect pace, and I think that's what makes you so good aside from your amazing guitar skills and vocals. I usually play bluesy and metal stuff and I've found both genres on your channel, Fade to Black was I think the very first song I've learned from you on my banged up old acoustic. I think that song has introduced me to Metallica and metal as a genre, that song was like, the first milestone in my guitar playing, and I owe it all to you. I once, during my first month or two, decided to quit guitar but after a few days passed I noticed one of your lessons and it motivated me to pick my guitar back up and practice. Thank you again for taking the time to provide free lessons to people all around the globe. Marty Schwartz is good, Carl Brown is good, but there's just something about your lessons and teaching style that's unique

On that pre chorus when he sings “I could never drown” I play G-F-Bb. It seems like the correct chord. I’ve seen other tutorials that never say it’s a Bb. My ears tell me it is a Bb chord.
You'll get there mate! For months, I never seemed to improve at all. It was incredibly frustrating. But oddly enough recording myself (even and especially the mistakes) made me see how far I'd come. Consistency is key. In my opinion, it's better to practice every day for 30 mins than every second day for an hour! Even just playing a scale or your favourite riff every day is better than nothing!
