As you mentioned, those printers are notorious for having clogged print heads -- and the print heads cost as much to replace as the printers. Which is why that guy was willing to pay what he paid for just the print head. That printer was an awesome pick up either way!
John now you have to resell the Printer for parts only and just disclose the piece you removed....Double dip.

I've been flipping old Kodak Slide Projectors. Common problem is that they don't advance. Turns out there's a kit for that. The kit is 30 bucks. About the amount you'd get selling the unit as-is needs repair.
Not for the mechanically challenged. It took me about 2 hours using rudimentary tools. Sold it as Refurbished 3 days later for 130 plus shipping.
Thanks for the tip about shipping supply coupons for store subscribers. I received one in my message box once and thought it was a one time thing. I had to dig to find it and now that I found it I'm going shopping!

I love your organizational skills except for the storing of hats haphazardly in bins. They get creases that really don't go away. Look at the Dolphins hat, it looked messed up. Hey I watch you're channel alot for the content and tips on resaleing for future buying on the lineman model trucks those are usually given out at lineman conventions iv worked for a subcontractor for the souther company for 3.5 years and those models are raffled off but usually cost about 200$+ for the company to get made just to give you a reference point of why they are so detailed

thank you for letting us know q4 has started. no wonder i have gotten alot of lowballers on ebay. i had this one guy yogibear811 purchased soem shoes from me but hasnt paid, and was asking me for another pair to bundle for him. i said no separate transactions plus you havent paid for the first pair. just taught i let ebay sellers know to watch out with this scam buyers or lowballers
Slow down bud. A lot of people don't pay initially because they want to keep shopping. Combined shipping is a win win situation. If you can fit 2 pairs of shoes into a flat rate large box for $21 as opposed to 1 pair in each on a medium flat rate for $15, why not? I don't think this person is trying to screw you over. No offense but I think they have more experience than you. You can learn from buyers.

If I sell the entire item and buyer asked just for a certain piece will I be protected from not getting INAD? I honestly would have probably lost that sale on the printer because I would be nervous the buyer would open case on me. I’m assuming since all the contact went through eBay I would be ok. Thanks for sharing that John.

So to explain to anyone curious about why this buyer may have wanted just that piece. I worked retail at an Office MAx we would have folks buy printers to do the same thing. The print head is worth a good chunk overseas usually places like China. They find them cheaper than normal, strip the part and toss the rest then resell it for many times usually than what they paid.

use an app called yard sale treasure finds or something like that
I find them random drive, fbm, craiglist, treasure app, newspaper if u get one for free, fb groups, its time consuming but just look for 5-30 minutes and u can get a hit if someone posts one recently.
Go to Facebook marketplace, and in the search for item box, type “garage sale” or “neighborhood garage sale”.
Do they bubble wrap the bubble wrap for protection?

Selling on eBay in Canada, offering tracked package sometimes doubles or triples the shipping, I think my sales are a lot slower because I used tracked shipping most of the time. Was wondering if you do tracked shipping or not on what items, and the financial benefits of it. Thanks!
I've been selling for a bit. Tracking is automatic in the US as long as the package weighs more than 3oz
The Funny thing is I’m 16 and resell and my grandpa buys off Amazon so much we never run out of bubble wrap 😂 so I’ve never had to buy bubble wrap or boxes

Hey all, I have the same question but in reverse I guess about the labels. I'm still new (yet received notification the other day that I'm now a "top-rated seller" 😁 but anyways yes I'm still basically green, still using a basic hp printer and cutting out the labels, up until recently I would take the non label half of the label page and save it for my files, however just the other day noticed now it's only printing the label itself with no info on the other half of the page.
Can anyone tell me how to go back to that?

He talks about it in another video , he said on average about $5,000 and on a good month up to $15,000 depending how lucky he gets .

That varies on every item. How much shipping actually is how much your profit margin is etc etc.
