I find it funny when people complain about price and say they would rather have a Staccato 😂 this gun is far above what a $2500 Staccato is! Can't wait to get one for myself!
I hadn’t even heard of that manufacturer , it does look extremely well made . If it shoots as well as it looks I would imagine demand will go through the roof
Interesting new offering. Hits a sweet spot on price too. Take a look at other reviews and see what all the hype is about. This gun runs flawlessly. How many manufacturers offer a new model that doesn't come with a period of "working the bugs out"? Not Jacob Grey. These guns run!
This company sounds very promising and their first precision handgun product shows world class potential. I'm hoping they are working on a 5 inch competition model. I will be keeping an eye on them. They simply need to take a few ques from Staccato, Atlas, and Masterpiece Arms. I don't own a Staccato, but I own an Athena and a DS9, and the Jacob Grey TWC sounds like it is knocking at their doors....... - Lighter trigger for 5" competition model like Staccato XC is lighter than Staccato P. - Trigger Goal is about 2 lbs. My Athena & DS9 are sub 2 out of the box. World class. - Extreme texture on the grips. Athena & DS9 are the Gold Standard here. - Full length Dust cover without that strange "Shark Mouth". Yes, it looks odd. - Steel Frame for balance. Steel grips if possible like the DS9 LOC. Sweet world class balance. - No Grip Safety. - Slightly wider shielded ambi safeties. Produce a Lefty version for those of us in our right mind. Atlas is Gold Standard on Safeties. - Keep that fantastic integrated magwell. - Keep that fantastic slide like it's on roller bearings fit and action. - Make sure it passes the left handed jamming test. - Most 1911s and many 2011s do not pass this left handed test, and they jam. Athena & DS9 pass the test. Staccato does not.
I purchased one. Went to take off the optic plate and mount an optic, and one of the screws was stuck. Screw head snapped off. Gave it to the gunsmith and is now costing me $200. Ridiculous.
@@mst3rmind879they had qc issues with the weak side of the thumb safety too if you call them they will mail you a replacement if you look at all the small parts you can mim molding marks i would've expected better quality parts from a 2500 plus pistol
Got mine a few weeks ago. Worth every dime. Everyone that has put hands on it loves it.

That sounds a lot like user error honestly
@@Gongolongo I spoke to the manufacturer and they said they have had QC issues with these screws specifically.
