I'm in the US and Christmas catalogs were essential as a kid: not just food, but toys, all the good things. I still love looking through them. My family's typical Christmas will be Turkey on Christmas Eve, usually with some kind of ham, stuffing/dressing, potatoes and gravy. Our stuffing is usually just bread-based, no meat like sausage or lamb. I love sprouts too, but no one else does! Cranberry sauce is essential, too. Is that the same in the UK? Dessert is always some sort of pie: pumpkin pie, chocolate cream, pecan pie. Not that anyone ever gets to it, we're all worn out! Christmas Day is usually a beef rib roast, like a prime rib and whatever leftover from the night before. Duck and goose are getting more common, but usually way more expensive than a turkey. I think that's a pretty typical American feast? Mince pies are around, but I don't think they're very popular. Eggnog is probably more popular than mulled wine. We've got Norse in my family, so a flatbread called lefse is always on the table. Love videos like this. Thank you for sharing!
Brilliant comment! I just love the subtle variations across countries, regions and even families! I love Eggnog but its not as popular here as in the US 🎄⛄️🎅 amazing for you to comment and thank you ❤
You remind me so much of a UA-cam ASMR pioneer TheWhisperingVoice. Your voice just crackles in the most relaxing way. Keep up the good work man! Listening from Maryland USA 🇺🇸
@indefatigable8193 that's a compliment for sure! I do recall The Whispering Voice and he was incredible. Thank you so much for the kind comment and for watching my channel ❤️👍
I've always thought this as well tbh, one of the 1st artists I listened to when I started listening to ASMR back in 2017, their voices are very similar, also think its because sometimes the Geordie and Welsh accents can sound quite similar.

On the ads, it says, "Spend a LiDL, live a lot." So your pronunciation is how it is meant to be pronounced.
