that is a good tip! I have thought about doing something similar. They have an anaerobic bit of thread locking compound on the valve thread. I finished the build a few months ago and the brakes have not leaked or had any issues since the build
I both agree and disagree. I think there are a few really trick pieces of these 2WD models that would not easily be adapted to a 4WD. The car is super fast out of the box with being a lightweight 2WD model too. The car is still being run in and loosening up but I have hit 48.7MPH with a GPS strapped to the car!
That’s just a beauty WOW 😮! That’s just got to be the most amazing and most High End RC that’s out there !!! So next level that most people are afraid 😱 to get there hands on one of those sexy FGs . That’s just a sexy and Braaaaaptastic💥🏎⛽️🔥💨Girl just super Zeeeeeaah 💥! If I had one of those ? I would use gloves 🧤 like a gentleman to work on theme and only my best tools 🛠 to perform the work on them! Are there any CHEVY Bodies for one of those like a Camaro like a 3rd generation or any Camaro or Corvette ? Or Cadillac CTS-V body??
acejossy lmao 🤣 to late brother because it already has started 💥👍💥🤝💥👊💥. If I didn’t have so much going on at the moment all at once I would’ve already had one of these Babies by now trust me !!
Maybe! These use such a small amount of fluid and it was easy enough to get done with the syringes that I don't think I would bother with anything different. This was my first take at ever attempting this and I was able to get it done pretty quickly. The rear brakes went even faster than the fronts.
You do a great job on these videos that thing looks awesome it wouldn’t be practical for me no good places to run it I’d lose it in a pot hole or something where I live lol 😂
Very useful videos, very informative. Thank you so much. Why no new videos ? The best channel or site on 1/5 I ever seen ? Keep it going
I use yellow teflon tape around the bleeder valves threads to prevent leaking when servicing the brakes

Great video Steve. I absolutely love this car. Having a blast with it. I also use the mecatech valve covers to keep dirt out as well.
Good call! I will need to check out those little caps. Do you have a link on where to get some?
I like the double syringe method. Nice and clean!
Thanks for that tutorial, I am on the building process of my new to me FG Formula 1 competition
Wish they make a 4wd version soon. I’m totally buying.

Ok but what about the gtb quad system? I don't think it can be done by one person.

All you need is an open parking lot without too many islands in the way! Driving this on the street would be terrible.
