And they failed the test straight off the bat. Don't forget, a huge part of an interview is just getting a feel for what someone will be like to work with, or to be the boss to - that alone is very often more important than the experience.

    Do parents really dress their children in designer clothing in England? Is the contestant talking about designer clothing such as Gucci or Louis Vuitton and not high street like Adidas or Nike. Would people go out of their way to authenticate items such as Nike and if you are rich enough to buy luxury items for your children why would they buy second hand?

    • @TheDestineyy
      @TheDestineyy 2 роки тому +2

      Yes she means high end designer like Gucci and Louis Vuitton. I guess the whole point of the second hand thing is that it’s more sustainable as children grow out of their clothes quite fast so instead of throwing the clothes away, Steffs platform would be good to advertise them on. Not every rich person is buying designer, there are people that always buy designer items for themselves that they can barely afford. It makes sense that a parent would want to spoil and kit their kid out in designer clothes and the clothes being second hand drastically decreases the price of them, making it easier and more accessible for parents to purchase.

This year I have never seen such incapable, incompetent and deluded candidates. How on earth have have these 4 candidates made it to the final four? Either lord sugar has made a huge mistake or they must of been the best 4 out of a rotten bunch!!!!. Seriously these business plans are awful, thee candidates have no knowledge of business and they just make things up as they do. I think the shows needs to end now coz people nowadays are either starting there own business early in there lives and the majority of people make there living on social media a
    across all platforms. People make money on “only fans” on its own so the new generation are not as bright or focused on thinking about academic business strategies. Mike is a common sense guy and Claude is quite mellow here too compared to how he was. I think he is quite a reasonable guy tbh. These contestants are living in la la land. I think lack of experience can be made up for with hard work and solid research though but not buying the domain name you want to use is a huge faux pas.

    These interviews are staged for tv. I work in recruitment and have never ever seen anyone get grilled and pulled apart like this in my life. They only show the negatives not the positives in these interviews. The girl with the pyjamas business bit back good on her. Hope she wins and Lord Sugar cracks shit jokes and all his advisers just laugh at every word he says. That’s the joke really 🤡

They talk a good talk at the interview stage though, and that gets them through the door. Unfortunately for them, they are usually found out for what they are, and don't last long.

    If you interviewed me in that tone, I’d actually have concerns about working for you.
    For my current position, working for a prestigious company, I had 5 interviews which involved 3 presentations. But regardless of how I perform, I don’t expect to be patronised by a condescending employee. There’s a certain way to interact with people, even at the top. And this isn’t it……
