Another amazing video. I wish I had discovered them sooner.
I’ve noticed you’re using the print font LMA rather than cursive.
I see a lot of confusing information about which should be introduced first, the print or the cursive letters.
Do you recommend introducing the print font first?
It make sense to me as that’s what children see in books and the whole point of this is to teach them to read.
But what about writing then? You recommend in this video to use paper over a pink sentence strip or dry erase markers for children to write on top of that pink strip.
So is it alright to teach writing in print first and then after they have a better pencil grip to teach cursive writing too?
There are different views on this... in Indonesia we start with print. But many start with cursive.
Excellent video
Thank you very much!

What should be the sequence of teaching sounds?
Which go first: vowel sounds or consonant sounds? In either what is the order?
There is no specific order. Just make sure not to teach similar looking or sounding letters together.
I think vowel sounds are more confusing if we introduce them altogether.
So its better to go with combination of letters
I'm late to find this video however nice video Ms. Jenny
Better. late than never - we are always learning. :)
Can we use this during the writing day or the phonics day; in case we have a weekly teaching plan?
Yes, absolutely
The little girl knows her sounds. What comes before using this?
You can do this before: ua-cam.com/video/LV84U8QhsNA/v-deo.html
What is the difference between large and small movable alphabet? Do you need to buy both for homeschool? Which one would you prefer?
The LMA is used for the Pink and Blue Series and the SMA is used for the Green Series. If you are homeschooling, you might want to try and make the LMA rather than buy it. Its quite big and bulky and I am sure its pricey too. But if you are looking to buy then definitely you can manage with the LMA.
Hi🙂 when is the ideal time for a child to start writing?
It is really subjective o your child's fine motor skills. If your child has had a lot of fine motor activity and thus has strong fingers then you can start encouraging them to use a pencil at 2.5 years. More structured writing activities a around 3. I am not a fan of tracing letters and lines - something fun and creative.
