Tips for this video:
- Although these tabs will work for ocarinas in any tuning/key, these songs must be played with 'C' ocarinas in order to play in the same keys as the originals songs using these tabs.
- Bremen March: It is possible to play this on a six hole ocarina; however, it requires the low B, which can be achieved by underblowing the low 'C' or using the fipple bend on some ocarinas.

I think a cool oc-talk for next time would be how to practice doing trills(?) I think that would help me sound a lot better if i could get those down.
So glad my ocarina finally came in! I've learned a few zelda songs, and even learned to play one of my trumpet pieces! This is even more fun then I expected!
With this video I got so many songs to learn. Just recently got my 12 hole ocarina too. And best of all, they are from my favorite zelda game.

After watching your videos for years I finally got a ocarina for Christmas.(kept talking myself out of getting one cause I usually suck with music instruments) it's really not hard to learn and super fun. I just have trouble with sheet music I'm having to relearn what little I knew.

Okay, my comment:
I LOVE your tuorials and I want a extended version of all these Songs! * *____* *
Because of you, I bought an ocarina to learn all these Zelda songs. Before, I had no idea how to do that. :3
Long story short, I just wanted to say thank you :3
Hey David great tutorial. Can you do a video about the different "ornaments" you use while playing? I know trills and etudes, but I noticed a few that I'm unfamiliar with in other videos. Thanks! And keep up the great vids!
awesome tutorial!can you do the extended version of stone tower temple
A full version of stone tower temple or song of healing would be amazing!
Wow I love this bid and I played the song on my ocarina
*vid
You shoud do the full length Stone Tower Temple. (PLEASE)
awesome !!! ;)
ASWOME DUDE FREAKING ASWOME
I'm gonna learn so much from your videos! Thanks David! How do you the vibrato? Or does that just occur naturally with sustain?
This is made great! :) you should do things like this for more complicated songs too, like SAO's crossing field. :)
This is awsome David.. do you have a video just like this but playing the song of ocarina of time? Im just buy one but i dont know how to play my favorites songs and i never play before a musical strument..
I loved this so much and I am going to be using this when I get my ocarina but where is the song of storms?
Look up Ocarina Tabs Song of Storms (and how many holes you have) online and look at the photos. Those should tell you how to play it!
Is there any numbered or lettered tablature music books for the ocarina. I don’t know how to read music. We didn’t have music in any of the schools I went to.
You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you? (song of healing please! Or else...)
was half expecting BEN to be here when you got the elegy of emptiness
What ocarina did you use I want a Zelda ocarina I got the TOTCM but after watching your videos I noticed my ocarina I bought sounded weird different like it wasn't tuned till I watch your basic video you said there was a ocarina based around zelda was terrible so I looked down at the ocarina I was using and I think you know what happen next ( I had the crapy ocarina ) and the zelda ocarina your using is perfect what ocarina are you using so I can buy it. Thank you ( I hope your respond cause I really need a good zelda ocarina ).
He should have a video where he tells what site he used to buy his ocarinas, but you can get a good replica (12 hole) that sounds just like his at STL Ocarina. I bought 2 from there (one is a standard tenor and one is a double chamber), and they're not only good quality, but sound just right :3
Then again, you may have already found it or the one he uses for his, considering your comment is 7 months old now X'DDDD
I have a ceramic ocarina it has the tri force symbol on it and it comes with the neck strap. I also have a holder, its comes with a sheet that teaches you songs like twinkle twinkle little star. You can get on Amazon I believe.
Wow! I love this format! My one suggestion would be to have text indicating when you switch to a slower pace. It is easy to tell but a visual cue like that is often helpful in a visual presentation.
Again, love this tutorial format!
Hmm, good suggestion. So, something like "Normal tempo" and "slow tempo"?
David Erick Ramos Yep! Just a simple visual cue I'm certain would be helpful, especially if someone is continuously going back to restart the "slow tempo" section to practice.
