They did the right thing. They called the experts. Good job ladies.
It's law.
Those experts probably sold it to a zoo some water park
Well they are in college … thank god theyre showing signs of good🤔
Poor hungry thing thought it smelled something fishy
From where that sea lion has his nose I'm guessing he smelt fish
Such a sweet face lying on the front of the boat. Glad they called for professional help.
Professional help 😂🤦♂️
And an even sweeter face in the boat.
For the girls???
So it can’t be trusted huh? I knew it!
sea lion: dont be scared of me human, I will pet you.. you so cute , you are so adorable
He has the cutest little face , makes you want to hug him
A person with a normal brain should feel that. Baby mammals of other species trigger the brain the same as human babies do.
@@robinblackmoor8732 cool so I am normal, is it also normal to feel the same way for most baby avians? And I also have a soft spot for Turtles who are reptiles.
You do realize that these animals have big teeth and are meat eaters who don't chew their food, they just rip and tear and swallow chunks whole.
@@MusMasi I don't think that has been studied. My best guess is normal people will care for any young animals. Almost every serial killer ever studied started by killing young animals. the brain of a sociopath lacks the trigger mechanism that makes normal people care for young. it is an easy test that a Psychiatrist can use. It is almost impossible for a normal person to not want to pet a puppy. A sociopath will not be interested at all. Never trust a person that does enjoy being near a puppy.
@@robinblackmoor8732 source for that study on serial killers and killing young animals? how does one even reliably get data for killing animals? did they study ones that just so happened to have a known record? which by any logic would be a small percentage of all serial killers, a significant amount of violent crimes are not accounted for to begin with. and finally, correlation does not equal causation. all humans were hunters at one point that would have targeted the easiest prey, which would be young, injured, and old. psychology is not a hard science, they can only make guess work. never trust a person that does not enjoy being near a puppy seems extremely illogical. unless you can provide hard data?
That sea lion has better luck with the ladies than I do
Instructions unclear, I now have a pet baby sea lion...

The video says it was a little malnourished.
Kudos to you ladies for calling the Marine Mammal Center. It was malnourished and in need!
The seal was probably fed by humans before, which is why it tried it's luck again. Hopefully they weren't stupid enough to feed it. When the seal gets bigger, and tries this, humans will have to unalive the seal to protect the people. People feeding wild animals don't think through the consequences.
These stories always blow my mind. Baby animals that ask humans for help are often a tough call and it's not always easy to know what's best for the little critters. Seems like this was the best decision. Way to go.
This story has my seal of approval.
:applause:
ps. hope your seal is well-fed, unlike this guy

They look friendly. Think I'll pop in and say Hello!

Very nice to hear that these girls had common sense to call for help.
For all the harm we’ve caused wildlife, they still know how to ask the right people for help. Amazing!
Something I think a lot of people forget is we've helped wildlife almost as much as we've harmed it, and I think wildlife creatures are starting to learn how to tell which humans will be helpful and which ones will be harmful
@@ScuraMax ??

@@ScuraMax what is woke about this?
There is a more likely chance that the pup's mother was killed by an ORCA, which happens a lot. So being orphaned is a very good possibility and it's good that they called the Marine Wildlife experts
The last picture of the sea lion it’s very cute ❤😂
It sure is! 🥰
the human instinct to PET!
It's such an innate part of us. It's a desire to give comfort. One of our adorable, if sometimes unwise traits. I realized that we are born with it when I was watching my 18 month old nephew one year and he was standing in the garden and I realized he was bent over trying to pet the fuzzy bees. I rushed over and saud 'no no, owwie!' and he got lucky. Adorable though. 🥰🐝
@@arcticgoddess and you would think in nature that would condemn us to extinction from all sorts of predators but we have become arguably the most “successful” out of all animals… I just thought about this the other day
@@joeymalinyeah but we have evolved and created distractions.
Humans can be lazy , misguided, forgetful , clumsy etc... all leading to accidents and injury or worse.
I've never once seen a crocodile enter the water and look around thinking "hmmmm why did I come in here again"
You don't see Lions trip over and scuff all they paws.
I've never seen a Robin press snooze on its alarm fall asleep and wake up 30 minutes late for work.
For every great thing humans are , there are thousands of things that we do which fail, we are only alive now because clever people invented things, we no longer invent things , we just sit and watch netflix getting fatter.
I think humans are over rated , a crocodile was here long before us and will be here long after we have become extinct , because while we have a brain that can do lots of things , crocodiles do the one thing absolutely perfectly and thats survive, i would love to be able to do one thing perfectly which means I know I can survive, sadly we are more likely to trip over our own untied laces.

She didn't shower in days, and he liked the scent. Good job little guy! Nom nom nom.
Weirdest thing ever happened to me while out on the water (Freshman year, 1993, Pacific Lutheran University on American Lake in Tacoma, Washington) was that we almost got hit by a car.
No, really - it was all "stroke....stroke...stroke....HARD TO PORT, CAR!" turns out the guy that lived on the island in the middle of the lake we practiced on had one of those amphibious cars, and used it to commute the 200 feet or so to the shore. It was foggy and kinda dark in the morning, and we didn't see each other until it was almost too late.
