Sam is and will always be the voice of the Rangers. Thank you Sam for everything you've done and been to the sport of hockey! God bless and enjoy your retirement. Love you brother.
Sorry to double up but Sam was the voice of our childhoods on cold winter nights dating back to the days of WWOR 9 with Phil Esposito and later the legendary collaboration on MSG with John Davidson. Regardless of his replacement an adjustment to a new voice irrespective of who it is will be difficult.
I love his lines , with the game winding down.. AND THEIR ON THEIR FEET AT THE GARDEN!! or after a pp goal.. ITS A POWER PLAY GOAL!! or the classic after they won in 1994.. THIS ONE WILL LAST A LIFETIME!!
Oh that is such a loss. I totally enjoy him calling the game, so much better than anyone else out there and the last of the style and class. Sure will miss him but it had to happen sooner or later.
I Started Watching Rangers Hockey Back In '09 And With Sam Rosen In The Broadcast Booth Makes NYR Hockey A Whole Lot Better. To All Of Us Ranger Fans He's Like The Jim Ross Of Hockey Minus The Cowboy Hat.
Can you please Win the Stanley Cup for Sam ! I don’t think it will be Kenny because he does so much other sports! It’s a great choice, but I don’t he freeze enough to do all the games because you got to many other jobs Sam Rosen would have to call it on the radio. Remember after the first round the other networks take over! This is a tough year for as a Yankee fan the great John Sterling retired and now Sam Rosen retired I am getting old
“This One Will Last A Lifetime “ no one can do it better than!
Sam was the best. There's not that many announcers that will give opposing players their roses and did it with class
As a Bruins fan ..Sam is one of my favorite announcers enjoyed listening to games he called.

There’s been talk of Sam Rosen getting a banner honoring him in MSG & that would be an excellent idea!
