Super Simple Carrot Cake | Easy Recipe | Simple Ingredients
***6-Inch Round Pan (Lined with parchment of baking paper.)
Dry Ingredients:
110g All-Purpose Flour
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1/8 Tsp Fine Salt
¾ Tsp Cinnamon Powder
½ Tsp Nutmeg Powder (Optional)
60g Brown Sugar
15g Fine Sugar
Wet Ingredients:
80ml Canola Oil (any plain oil)
1 Large Egg
60ml Milk
80g Finely grated carrots (1 medium size carrot)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven for 350F/180C. With fan 325F/165C.
2. In a medium bowl, sift in dry ingredients, add sugar and whisk to combine.
3. In a separate small bowl, whisk all wet ingredients, oil, egg and milk.
4. Pour wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Add grated carrot. Stir using spatula to combine.
5. Pour into prepared pan.
6. Bake in preheated oven for 30-35minutes or until skewer inserted comes out clean.
7. Let the cake cool upside down for 10 minutes before slicing.
