Not a bad idea except for the fact that overall I’m pretty thin. The smallest jeans don’t fit me. I also don’t want to constantly continue to spend money if I can easily fix them with a life hack like these! 😁
Seriously not all people can "buy" the right size. BECAUSE THEY AREN'T EVERYWHERE. I have a very thin waist but a thick thigh and malls have been selling thin waist, thin thighs jeans or wide waist and thick jeans, so I'll go buy the wide waist one and have to always wear belt.

For the skirt riding up one, you can use fashion tape. Its way better than using doublesided sticky tape, which has chemicals that aren't supposed to be used for skin!!

You can try a nude bra. I saw a video on it but I'm not too sure how well it works
You can try using a fun bra/top. Or a lace one... take advantage of it ;)
I wear something like sports bra, so it looks like, you wear a crop top under the shirt
as a rule of thumb, when you wear any white top, always wear a nude bra or a beige undershirt if it's cold
I wear lacey nude colour bras. Works like a charm
