Hi Friends, here is my new speed up watercolor demonstration. I am painting a streetscape in a loose style. I am focusing here on colour harmony. I wanted to achieve an early morning feel with crisp winter air and at the same time incorporate the warm tones of the church. Thanks Mukund! I should start sharing photos from the scene. When you see a typical street and a white piece of paper in front of you... it's not that easy to come up with a harmonious painting. Most of the people would just do exact copy of what's in front of them: blue sky, green tree, red brick church, which is exactly what you're not suppose to do if you're an artist 😉

I really appreciate ur talent n thought process which is more towards creating own style of rendering .Pl go ahead n develop this in nxt 5 ..6 perspectives ..
Similarly overhead wires n birds are just elements of movements as semi realistic feel .(.it's common now .).....
I m looking for some master strokes like road shadows..or close up foreground buildings edge etc..

Long way to go is good. That's the fun part! I look at it as "I've got so many subjects that I haven't painted yet" and it inspires me. I met JZ not that long ago, and it felt like, he is "bored", he painted everything he could and nothing is exciting any more. This scares me.
@@nvfineartstudio7296 oh, I can't imagine being bored of it. But I don't get as much time to paint as him..or you probably. I look forward to the idea of retiring and spend what's left of my life painting the world
You can draw and paint you just need to do practice because practice make man batter day by day

Lovely painting demo！I often find the transition between the yellow at horizon and the sky blue = green, do u have any way to tackle that？
Thank you! Just add a bit of red to yellow when you transition to/from blue, it should do the trick.

Thank you Minerva! No, unfortunately it's not. I did a little sketch on location, but came home and decided to paint it (and recorded it). If you may notice the paper is really thin and buckles at the beginning of the video, as the other side has a sketch as well 🤣

Yes, I do, mostly in exhibitions, but it's so expensive... hardly anything left for the artist after gallery %, framing, postage, etc. I'm currently working on the website and Instagram... especially it will be useful to sell demo paintings... Should be ready soon. If you are after something in particular let me know ☺️👍
