What is the BDS movement about? Why do they target the Israeli government? What does Germany have to do with it?
*Jung & Naiv, Episode 203 with Omar Barghouti, co-founder of the BDS movement.*
German subtitles are available. You can also watch the road from and to Ramallah at the beginning and end of the episode.

Barghouti is definitely my hero. He's well educated, got his MA from a very well established university, (I forget now which one), is studying for his PhD. in a very well known university, (again I forget which one). And of course he's a strong supporter of an academic boycott of Israel. If only I could recall where he got and is getting his degrees from. Oh well, it"ll come to me eventually.

And yet he is a liar and far detached from reality. Nice hero, eh? And YOU can't even be bothered to spend 5 seconds to look up that your hero has an MA in electrical engineering from Columbia U? I have a suggestion for you: next time, BEFORE you post something, make sure that you spend at least a couple of seconds to get your thoughts in order and research some basic stuff, if necessary. Thank you!

You are such a loser, you didn’t even watch the imterview. At 15:23 he even mentions himself that he studied at Columbia U in NYC. And yes, he is a horrible and evil person too.

barghouti is excellent as always and you´re doing a good job asking the "naive" questions that must be raised (despite the constant eye rubbing). a good journalistic job, i say.

Ironic, UA-cam has Israeli technology, ownership and stakeholders and people are lecturing us on boycotting Israel. Silly Democrats.

Sehr interessant. Danke!

Omar Barghouti is a classic "liberal" hater who has the odacity to explain the viewers why they should boycott Israeli academia, after earning his masters & PhD degrees from TEL AVIV UNIVERSITY. here are some of his gems for you to judge:
Although Barghouti lobbies for a worldwide economic, cultural and academic boycott of Israel, Barghouti himself has studied at an Israeli university. When asked about it, Barghouti commented: "my studies at Tel Aviv University are a personal matter and I have no interest in commenting."[5] When asked about his attendance at an Israeli university in a 2015 interview with the Associated Press, Barghouti said Palestinians "cannot possibly observe the same boycott guidelines as asked of internationals" and that "indigenous population" is entitled to all services they can get from the system.

as it currently stands, the racist nature of the state will now allow for peace since it indoctrinates an ingroup (chosen, exiled, surrounded by enemies) vs an outgroup (them, palestinians, germans, anti semites, etc). for real peace to be possible, there needs to be low level change, israel is only 70 years old, things can still be rectified.
and really, no one cares what the land is called, be it israel, palestine or israelistine, the main goal here is to address the corruption and the injustice that plague the country.

Have you seen an Israeli law makers supporting black life matters ? I will never understand a black person supporting the violation of human rights anywhere around the world (including Israel)

What wrong with disolving? The USSR or GDR have been disolved. Disolving does not mean destruction or ethnically cleansing?

    Lies, Lies, Lies.
Veolia had a 5% stake in the Jerusalem train business. According to the company in a Newsweek article and it was sold for about 10 Mio USD, further in the same interview:
Veolia confirmed the sale to Newsweek by phone but said the exit, which was decided last year, was a business decision and not influenced by any pressure from campaign groups.
When asked if Veolia had lost other contracts because of its links to the Jerusalem Light Rail, Dujardin said: "To my knowledge, no. People can have perceptions and the facts are people can claim if they want, what can I say?"

Question what is the difference between christian islam or jewish colonization in the last some thousand years? I think many Palestinian don’t recognize Israel as a state decided by UN resolution with 2/3 majority. I think if you want for UN rights you need to show that you accept UN decisions and go from there

    • @MrRabee94

Palestinians already recognize the State of Israel through the Oslo Accords. Israel still doesn't recognize Palestine.

this can very easily solve if u ask him a simple question, of course hes not going to answer it, right,:
    do you represent all palestinians?
or if israel discriminates against arabs why there are two millions arabs living in israel right now?
why the definition of refugee Palestinian is different that the rest of the world's?

    • @doctoranan
      @doctoranan 3 роки тому

Yes he represents all the Palestinians.
2 million Arabs have repelled recently because of the racism being faced by the zionist regime.
Our war is not against jews, and never against jews.
It is against the Zionism ideology and its ugly product.

The Barghouti Hypocrite..he lies (There is no Apartheid nor Genocide in Israel) and his whole shtick is a violation of International Law. He lies about "Occupation" which is when one sovereign nation overtakes another sovereign nation's territory. Judea and Samaria were mandated Jewish National home Land, (1922), and became Israeli upon the end of the Mandatory. This guy is slick, as one expects from an Arab Effendi, but you start checking his terminology and his schtick about Law? And he doesn't note that "Palestinianism" is a political movement, not an ethnic group.
