What is the best month to come to Ghana - I guess I am wondering is there a peak or off season when it comes to tourism or spending. Great video, thanks for posting.
It depends on the vibe you are looking for! My first visit was during June/July/August. I think that's the best season if you are looking to explore the culture and what Ghana is like when there aren't a large number of tourists. I've also spent time during the December/January/February period. Perfect time if you're looking to connect with other people in the diaspora. So many events happening and people coming over during holiday! Warning: A LOT of partying. You might can't keep up! lol Ghana is its hottest during this time. In June/July it's not as hot as November-January. I hope this helps!
I am a Ghanaian living in the US .I come to Ghana every year for vacation. But how come you been American seems to know too much more than I do ? You really doing a good job educating people who want to come to Ghana. Well done !!
Hi, Thanks for sharing the video ! I would like to know what's the name of the Air bnb with the bathtub and washer you showed in your video and does this same Air bnb has a shower too ?
@@MightyIntellectual Hi, thanks for responding back ! This video I commented on where you showed highlights of a place in this video with a bathtub and washer and does it have a shower ? That's the place I am referring too.
@@MightyIntellectual Same, I never tried but would see them around often. I stick with Bolt or Uber but it's mad annoying when they cancel trip and also ask where are you going before they pick you up. Also, if you're paying with a card, more times than not they cancel trip, this is odd especially since here in US that now is your only option and you can't pay cash.
You have Delta and United that fly straight from US to Ghana. For connection flight you have many options. KLM, British Airways, Brussels Airline, Portuguese Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines, Air Maroc I definitely don't recommend, South African Airlines, Kenyan Airlines, the UAE airlines all fly to Ghana via transits
Many! They just aren’t direct flights. You typically have a layover in Europe somewhere. But I believe Delta just started running a direct flight from DC to Ghana. Look that up!
thats about 1000 if my conversion was correct, does it cost that to live there every month? i didnt even know the average ghanian makes that much money
@@MightyIntellectual That's true. I used to relate it that way to my people till they told me they didn't want it in Cedis, they wanted it in dollars because it gets them confused. You did a great job anyway. 👏 an
That’s cool prices for all things you listed but honestly the prices in Ghana sometimes depends on where you find yourself, if you find yourself in expensive places in Ghana you’ll need to pay more for more quantity of all the things you listed in the video.
She has it correct. You're just being picky. Since Twi is more spoken than written, there is more flexibility. Bra is the honorific for brother like Bra Sam / Bra Bill. It's one "a" like Sista Margret. It makes sense to spell "return home" with two a's because it's more pronounced.
@David Osei Amponsah-Antwi I grew up speaking it but lost it only to relearn it. I'm really proud of Mighty Intellectual and others like her who are interested in learning this ancient African language. We should support the diaspora as they relearn!

Also Yango is a cheap option for rides. It’s similar to Bolt and Uber
Very true! I've seen that Yango is becoming popular! I just haven't tried it yet.

Which Airline goes to Ghana from USA?.
How much do you pay for a ticket?
Miss Pretty.

@@MightyIntellectual They’ve been running Ning since 2006 I think. I flew with them way back in 2008.
I fly United from South to Washington DC, then from DC straight to Ghana.
❤❤🎉
Thanks darling!!!
Nice info sis, concerning your credit union card that is missed in Ghana, you need to block that card to prevent someone from using it,
Thank you love! I canceled it immediately but it made it difficult for me.
Not only VIP but STC as well. STC is much comfortable and safer
Yes exactly! Thank you for adding that. Y’all check out STC as well. Leaving any more tips I may have missed please! Thanks ❤️

is helpful, bur i am a cook
Which part is helpful?
Eight Cedis is not like $8.00, as you wanna put it. Eight Cedis is like 80 cents in US
I know it’s not $8.60 😭 thanks for catching that. I was trying to explain the pesewas situation in a way that made sense to my people in the U.S.

Yes thank you for adding this… that’s the tricky part it all depends on how you want to live and what you want to get involved in.
Visit Kenya
Next on my list 🥰🥰 stay tuneddd boo
Pesewas😀 Not pesos😀
Lol thanks boo! I can not for the life of me ever figure out what they’re saying so I make up my own 😂
The phrase should be brafie instead of braafie. Braa means brother in Twi
Thank youu, I know lol I added the extra a for my own flavor!
