Wtf. $750 for backlight repair? If the problem is in flex cable then it only costs $11 for the flex cable. Just visit good repairing shop. They'll order the flex cable and repair for 1500 rupees max.
I checked the price and the price for that flex cable is $20.

@@lenaoct1 Problem can also be with the backlight capacitors. Maybe shorted capacitor. In which case it can be fixed in more cheaper price. First diagnose the problem, either flex cable issue, faulty display or shorted capacitor
