It's that voice hitting the ceiling and bouncing around for me. There's NOTHING like Patti. I don't know if you can fully appreciate her until you hear it in a room. You can't really capture that in a recording. Her voice is not only louder than the band but sometimes you really hear it over microphone. The power is insane. @D Mints: Whitney Houston, if alive, SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY WAR STORIES. She was a child born in affluence. Relatives, including her mother, sang in gospel groups.! Houston attended private school, was a fashion model. She also did ads for different household, or beauty products. She had NO problems. She liked getting high; thinking she could use crack cocaine only when she wanted it. She didn't know her use of drugs would become addictive; no one told her the dangers. She never acknowledged her addiction, and wound up dead. Her "recreational " use killed her.
@@michellekirkendall818 Thank you for telling us what is common and public knowledge. I simply said that if Whitney were alive and healthy that she would have stories to tell. The same could be said about Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Jimi Hendrix, and every other entertainer who died young and enjoyed tremendous success before their untimely death. If it makes you feel justified by pointing out Whitney’s shortcomings then so be it. 🤷🏾♂️ Perhaps you took “war stories” in the literal sense. 🤦🏽♂️ It was meant figuratively, not literally.
@@tias.6675 Ummmm where did I say that I knew Whitney personally??? What’s more disturbing is that a year after I posted this you chose to respond with silliness. Now, as I explained in my SECOND post, as an entertainer who was very prolific, I am sure that Whitney had stories to tell. If you can’t comprehend that basic statement then I don’t know what to tell you. Be blessed.

It may keep your skin flawless but it's clogging up your pores in the meantime. Remember, your body is comprised of 90% H2O. Your skin being a living organ just like much of your body needs to BREATHE. If you clogging your skin up with s comodegenic, then how is it breathing and renewing itself. Same thing goes for people who use coconut oil or coconut paste on their skin. This clogs your skin, too. Just some advice from a skin doctor I once knew.

❤️❤️❤️ her. Every concert of hers I’ve seen has been phenomenal. When she speaks to her audience it’s like she’s talking one on one with a close friend.
I saw her a few years ago, and it still flashes out in moments. I'd give anything to have seen her around the 90s.
Patti is still going strong. She is a good actress as well as a singer.
She one our National Treasure....Love her personality and career...👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️
Flowers wayyy overdue for the Goddess Patti 🙌🏽
I miss Whitney Houston. If she were alive (and healthy) she would definitely have war stories like this to tell. Bless her soul. 🙏🏽
I doubt anyone in this comment section knew Whitney personally. You don't know what stories she had to tell.
Be blessed.
Oh my goodness...I LOVE MS PATTI....today, yesterday and forevermore!!! She is truly a gem and the real deal! Best concerts!!!
What am I watching!!! Miss Labelle is the cool mom, grandma, aunt, AND best friend. OMG!!!❤️❤️
PLEASE LET PATTI STAY YOUNG !!!!

I saw Patti in concert in the ate 80s r early 90s Best concert ever
Patti owns this interview, she's amazing.
THE LEGENDARY PATTI LABELLE!!!!!!! One of the greatest songstress EVER!!!!!!
Such a gracious lady! Somehow she can tell the real, real - without trashing. Dishing without dissing.
Yessss Omg I’m from Baltimore and I felt her with the crabs … “them little girls don’t have no meat” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yes me to and I always try to get male crabs. The female crabs is a back up plan for me😊
I've always been so spiritually connected to her. As a young woman with out parents on my own I searched and held on certain things I've learned from my elders. She taught me how to keep my skin flawless using vaseline and I'll never let that go cause it's always worked lol😘
I love Ms. Patti sooooooo much! God bless her
This is my leading 🥰 lady!!! I love her!!!
She's absolutely amazing!!
Patti is like the favorite aunt or grandma some of us wish we had ❤❤ I admire her and her music. This is the best Drink Champs episode thus far.
One of my most favourite memories, was having four of the most amazing women under one roof. My Wife, My Mom, My Auntie Jobi, and the Great Patti LaBelle. It was Mother’s Day and she sang for us at one of my best memorable concerts ever. Oh Boy did Auntie LaBelle turn it up!
Patti’s forgiving heart. Bless you Patti. She had forgotten all about it. Love U Patti. ❤
Her energy is amazing ❤️
I heard Patti Labelle the first time singing "Lady Marmalade" on her 1974 Release, When she did a Duet with Michael McDonald in 1986, Their Ballad "On my Own," I was in a Rock Band but upon hearing it, I was sure it was her & Michael, The Credentials on the radio Credited them Both, I ran and bought the Cassette and Transcribed this tune because it's so Honest & Beautiful, that kind of Song just Grabs you. Patti is the Epitome of Class, Talent & Sophistication. She's beautiful for her Age, If you have Inner Beauty, The Outer ages Gracefully.
Watched the whole episode and had such a great vibe.
"Don't come stealin my chicks in the night." Love Miss Patti. So fun to listen to. Great interviewer.
She's the fkn real deal, got to be from Philly , always keeping it 💯 👌 👏 🙌 👍 🔥, true story, saw her in AC wit my sister-in-law, back in the day, I was SHARP,she saw ME, in the crowd, n told me to come on stage, I thought I was gonna lose my mfn mind, got on stage n danced with her...didn't need a picture or a phone,LIVED IN THE MOMENT...LOVE YOU PATTI,ALWAYS!!!!!
I would love to see Pattie live again.
Patti LaBelle is one of the greatest live singers of all time. It will be a dream come true....if I could meet this idol of mine one day. I love you Patti. God bless you. 🥰🥰
How can you not love Ms Patti 💜💜
Definition of Ms. Patti Labelle = Diva
Queen Diva LaBelle! Being a fan has been a supernatural lifetime experience! I wish you so many blessings.
Patti LaBelle: STILL one of my favorite female Vocalists, of all Time.

🥰 omggggggggggg…… she is just so gosh darn stinking cute! I love seeing her in good spirits! 💚
The legendary Patti LaBelle
I can't adore her any more than I do. She is everything. I used to love watching Aretha's interviews too. They both are(Patti)/were(Aretha) so sincere and funny in those interviews.
I have absolutely always loved this lady from a little girl
Patti is an Icon. She still looks amazing.
Queen of Everything just hearing her sing l cry the emotion and soul is real any collaboration has been great a total pleasure
Love her soul and she seems like the type that would do whatever she could to help someone
Not alot of women like her left in the world such Elegance…can only Imagine some of these women in the industry today giving a interview when they get older
Patti seems like a good time gal. Someone you could sit with, drink wine, play games and talk shit.
I like it when they remember what happened and it all comes flooding back I'm glad they good now that's what's important love you ALL Patti, Gladys, Diana, Dionne they all are just wonderful black women
I think she meant Woolworths. No Walmart at the time and Walgreens Don't sell clothes. She told this story before and said it was Woolworths.
You’re right. She mentioned Woolworths a few times before.
I figured that as well
Isnt Woolworths an Australian supermarket thought? Or is there more than one?
In the company of Ms Patti,
I would sit down,
and just quietly listen to her talk for several hours straight!
Ms. Patti was the definition of triggered when someone in the audience shouted “Cindy” @ 2:01!
That was a no-no 😆 ❤️
Who’s Cindy?
@@AJLD1 Cindy Birdsong, who left Patti's group for The Supremes in 1967 and replaced Florence Ballard.
Patti forever young❣
I love how Patti uses her hands and those nails, not the length but how she moves her hands
I’ve seen her so many times that I have lost count. Love me some Patti LaBelle. ❤️❤️❤️
Pattie LaBelle stick close to her people, I can remember when she was making music 🎵 with big daddy kane, just down to Earth, my Gemini Buddy.
It felt good for my soul to watch this one. Patty LaBelle is such a beautiful gem and a staple of our cultures past & present. Luv hearing the backstories of our most beloved celebrities.
Patti is speaking history and facts. The time frame she talking bout is when Barry and Diana basically pushed Florence out of the group cause of her drinking problems etc Cindy went on to replace flo. Patti and Diana didn’t talk for over 10 years over this
