Thank you for the video. UA-cam really needs to take measures against that type of content! It's unbelievable that people create videos just for views, with misleading SocialBlade images and titles on banners. I've spent 6 months, trying to improve myself every day. It's impossible to get monetized unless you go viral; you can't just copy and paste a couple of videos and expect to earn money. This is a marathon, and those selling you dreams with those banners are unfortunately just looking to make money off you... Thank you for speaking and sharing the truth.
A tip for getting audio on those Canva videos. If you add audio and then bulk create the audio only stays with the fist video but if you then click on the audio track on that first track and hit CRTL D it will duplicate the audio to the next track. Repeat until you are at the end of your batch.
i'll give it a 30 day test too. on day 3 now. I might vary it up a little, and see how it goes, but sticking to this method. I opted to go for finance and investing. just a little tip, i can add to your video, there's no need to create a full python script for this, just copy paste below: column a: topic, b: part 1, c: part 2, d: number, and assuming row 1 the headers, you can paste this into e2: ="ren "&D2&".mp4 "&""""&A2&""""&".mp4" and drag it right through to the end of the doc, in google docs, like you're using, the first time, it will give you the option to auto complete, and automatically put it in the entire row. this will give you the DOS commands, then open command prompt: Windows Key + R = run, "cmd" enter, "cd c:\videos", and paste the commands that you've just created in excel. You can even type, "cd ", drag the path from windows explorer onto the command prompt, and it will go straight to that folder. thanks for the great video!
The honesty at the end of this video is critical. If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is. Awesome job and thanks for the reality check to the masses... or at least the 300+ K that watched so far. I hope you all got to the end, where it mattered. Subscribed!
Its funny because I did the exact same thing -- different method, but AI generated videos. Found it incredibly difficult for these videos to breach 100 views even after 1.5 months of it going strong everyday. Love the breakdown.
I still think this could take off, but like everything else, it takes time. The biggest thing I noticed is that your "long form" vids should be at least 8 minutes, otherwise you won't be able to monetize them when you do get to that point. (To be clear I am talking of adding midroll ad monetization). Showing off the tools used was certainly beneficial. Thanks.
This. I had someone reach out to be about getting rich with "AI methods". I told them it needed luck and the videos still need SOME quality to be shareable. This answered all my questions and more. Props for showing code and stuff behind the scene too, very enlightening video. Just wish there to be fewer AI shorts popping up when so many are just so low effort -- I also can't handle the low-effort shorts from a lot of creators that involves them doing something and the captions are just so wrong. I get AI can automate some stuff but it just seems so lazy, and there's so many that do this.
I've also experimented a lot with this in the last two months. My experience is that channels with such videos are either automatically detected or eventually found through manual control, and then one gets banned. After the 5th short, every one of my channels was done for, even if the shorts had a thousand views before. By the way, the quality didn't matter at all, quite the opposite. Silly videos got more likes than sophisticated texts. In my experiments, I also found a lot of really bad channels that had millions of views, but it seems to me a matter of luck how much distribution a video gets.
its not i made the experience that those whole ai tools are very helpful like voicing, scripting maybe editing. i only got capcut and still edit my videos from hand while only my subtitles only are generated and still in have to watch my videos over and over to detect some mistakes. however. views aren’t a factor for success its all about watchtime ergo how good the consumers experience is . yt wants us to stay for a very long time. i mean just look at your personal watch behavior there a thousands of videos 99% of them you don’t watch and they are viewed as impression. then there is this problem with attention span . if the consumer isn’t hooked in the first 8 seconds, stays for the next 30 and is “lured” in your video. Your Video will suck
This was really well done and I appreciate the transparency. This really exposed the QRC videos and the honest truth. I think the algorithm knows what voices are AI voices and repeated style which kills your views. I do think many aspects of this can help someone build more content in addition to a real channel as long as they do the work. They should use their own voice on some and experiment.
Thanks for this. I think AI has its place and has its use but from my experience, most people watch and subscribe to a PERSONALITY. That’s why youtube channels that react to rap lyrics and rap songs have hundreds of thousands to millions of subscribers cos people love to see the person they subscribe to share their emotions. The successful faceless youtube channels usually have an actual human voice with intonation behind the pronunciations
Great video, love all the info you provide. Starting and growing your channel is definitely the toughest part, but the thing is that you need to give viewers the content they want to see, the content they can't live without. Same like business owners give people products they need in their life. Also you have to stay hard working and consistent (and you should also use a lot of Famester to help you make everything a lot easier. For me, it feels like I control algorithm and I don't bother about changes anymore). Good luck to everyone.

Thanks for telling the truth. Too many people just want to make a fast quick buck but that truly is never possible and whats worse is it floods the platform with junk videos. If you ever watched a video where the voice over mis-prounounces a common word you watched one of these junk videos. Sad situation.
Would have been great to get a breakdown of how many views were shorts vs longform and what the watchtime was for the longform videos, since that is what monetization is based on. (I'm not complaining--I enjoyed the video! Just curious.) Also, be careful about using audio from Canva, as some YT channels have been claimed or penalized for copyright issues with the audio. The problem is, Canva does not provide you with a license to show YT to prove you have permission to use it. You need to connect your Google/YT account to Canva, so that YT knows you have a license for the audio.
Right. I instantly click away from AI voice or "floating text" videos. Info I can get from a static web page or a table. The whole point of video is interaction, experience, depth. Showing things that don't fit on a web page, aren't well-described by text.
This is probably the best video I have seen of it's kind - I haven't managed to get the python script working, so maybe you could do a follow up video showing exactly how I can get that to work. Thanks buddy.
Thanks! Have you installed python? Then you'll need to run 'pip install pandas' in your command prompt. Then the script should work. Let me know if you get stuck anywhere
@@theAIsearch Thanks, I'll give that a go. I just wanted to add that I was able to add the audio in Canva before running the batch create, which saves a bit of time. So all 49 shorts have the same audio.

Amazing that there are tools to mass produce videos suitable for UA-cam. As far as changing names, you are already in Windows (probably), so write the renaming code in DOS rather than Python. I used Google Bard and got the code plus instructions for setting up the project. For 6 years I had a business where I renamed many hundreds of thousands of .tif images and concatenated them into 3-15-page .pdfs with predefined names. I would say the process I came up with to do that magic was very similar to your process of combining methods which were never meant to be combined.
This is very true. Ive been running a channel now not ai generated were i do special editing etc. It has now aftrt 1 month 120subs and growing quickly! If you really want to earn money on content then find something you like and actually create something u think people want to watch.
I've started to try the 90 day short experiment on my main account. I also tried it on a newly created account with similar content. The newly created account got zero traction or view on any of the videos over a 7 day period, where as my account i had since 2008 instantly hit 5-10k views on each short. I reckon the algorithm favours channels with history. I'm only about 20 days in at the moment and have a total of 240,000 views on my shorts in that period.

I just started a 'little channel' myself called "AI Luxe" and I'm definitely going to be patient with it and just grind. Thanks again!!
I created my channel in the same way, but I think the results are satisfactory, and if I put in the effort and persistence, I will reach a very satisfactory level. The work distracts me from the channel, but I loved it and will continue.

Thank you so much for sharing valuable method in detail by practical examples. Now, I am so happy to know how to ask chatgpt provide a table (by row, column) of prompt for character. This save my time trial and error to make subsequent promt that i used to be fustrated before watching your topic.
I also tested. All other UA-camrs who claim these things do not made their channels and not earning. Otherwise they would not struggle to make videos on channel from there are recommending. There are lyres who waste precious time of their views.
hey there, i did the same method at my chanal and i got in 90 days nearly 130 subs. The most importend i have learned is, that you have to upload daily. but if you use this method, you quickly realize that the content is of poor quality and is constantly repeated. After a while, I no longer felt like uploading something that I'm not convinced of myself. My conclusion was, yes it works but it's no fun. Nevertheless, I learned a lot about UA-cam itself!
Honest truth! Thanks. Takes a while to fine tune a UA-cam strategy. Be patient. I automated tons of videos in Python as a programming challenge more than a get rich scheme. I learned a lot from the project and had fun doing it.
@@theAIsearch So far not a dime. I should share the code though because it can be applied to other topics. I did explain how it is done on my channel under community.
Great video- I 'think' you can now get GPT to provide better formatting- you can give it rules for formatting so you don't get the asterisks and so on. Very inspiring to me- thanks!
I enjoyed the switcheroo at the end. My heart was sinking during the video as the content looked like a lot of artificially generated trash that fills up all of our feeds. It was therefore gratifying to see that it failed to capture an audience, but you were still able to make an educational and informative video showing the journey. Content is King and when that stops, I'll stop watching.
Thank you for telling the truth, adding your time spend you would be running on a loss. It's pointless content that no one will watch. I hope not too many people will fall for this.
I come from Germany. You are a smart guy, and you would be the right person for a constructive exchange of ideas with chances of success. With the ability to translate theory into practice. You would also have the motivation to let the AI handle all these explanations.
Glad someone said the truth, these fake gurus just do BS and nothing else. Surely we can make money via all these but the false hypes are too much. Even in your video when I saw the $5xxx image I was enraged coz I have been working on an account from past 2 months have got 7k subs but still half way to monetize but thanks the last part gave some hope.
@@AshutoshMishra-qc7nl This is very low. Somebody makes another niche - Reddit Stories, it is similar to this, bulk create and upload, it drives million views for few channels. But I'm not sure whether it can be monetized.
At the start of the video i have a thought: "why did he even need this channel, where he puts effort to explain all of this, if he can just do AI videos so easy?" I watched to the end, and now i understood why:) To be fair, if you continue to make those AI videos - i am sure that it will be very profitable in 6 month or so, and. And you will spend like 12 days of work, witch could be done even on a weekends. Starting a channel from zero is really hard despite of quality of a content that you are doing, but when you hit like 10 000 subs - it will be like a rolling snowball.
WOW amazing thank you so much. It was a disappointment lol at the end but so happy I found this and its real! All the other BS is just to grab you and its a lie. You make it real deal and its an amazing example of how to speed up the system or way of posting.
Would be interesting to see how long it would take for you to get 1000 subs. If you could do it in a few months, this strategy would make a decent passive income stream. I think only running the experiment for only a month was the problem here.
This also show how algorithm react to content on youtube, like noticing the first week has a lot more engagement but then it kinda died down like the algorithm don't like it anymore.
Automating a task means doing the same same tasks over and over. Doing same thing over and over in the exact same way will get you no where, this ain't shadow boxing
I got sucked into this form of video making and content. As you can see from the end it doesn’t work. However, personally tailoring each video and making good thumbnails can give you a higher volume of views. What isn’t mentioned is that you need 10M views over 3 months for monetisation!
This was a brand new channel, correct? Seems that it takes longer to gain traction with a newly created channel than one that's been active for a few months and with a handful of subs. Great video, I'll be doing some test runs adding in what I've learned here, thanks!
Unfortunarley ChatGPT does not understand what "do not repeat any of the above" or "make them unique" means. It constantly does repeat itself. I have even told it that it had repeated a line and requested it to rewrite and remove duplicates. It apologized and rewrote the prompt only to repeat itself again...LOL
This is mind-blowing stuff, really it is! It's got me inspired to create a new Shorts series on an existing channel. What would be a great way to mine existing content (that I own) from UA-cam to turn it into Shorts? If you have content on this topic, I'm on it!
Here's the channel www.youtube.com/@schoolofinnerpeace

just a little tip, i can add to your video, there's no need to create a full python script for this, just copy paste below:

@@theAIsearch So far not a dime. I should share the code though because it can be applied to other topics. I did explain how it is done on my channel under community.
Appreciate the honesty and truth on the stats, thank you
you're welcome!
Great realistic content especially for us new creators. Thx
Thanks, Dear for sharing with us. need more video like this
Thanks!
I think UA-cam will very soon (Maybe already doing it) start to ignore AI generated content... Those AI voice-overs are very easy to classify
Dudes killing it with this ai bullshit. 10 views on vids and a whole 37 subs. Real people. Real thoughts. Will always win.
Great video- I 'think' you can now get GPT to provide better formatting- you can give it rules for formatting so you don't get the asterisks and so on. Very inspiring to me- thanks!
Yeah, you can just tell it to rewrite the information without the numbers, asterisks, etc. No need to manually remove them.
I was thinking the same thing
I enjoyed the switcheroo at the end. My heart was sinking during the video as the content looked like a lot of artificially generated trash that fills up all of our feeds. It was therefore gratifying to see that it failed to capture an audience, but you were still able to make an educational and informative video showing the journey. Content is King and when that stops, I'll stop watching.
true - content is king!
Loved how at the start you showed a print screen of 5k or more earnings lol, to engage views. smart.
Lots of really useful tips, thank you.
Thank you so much for doing this and sharing your experience.
My pleasure!
This says more about the state of youtube short than the state of AI
Im glad i found ur channel you are a great teacher bro, im already subscribed! 👍
Awesome! Thank you!
Wow, thanks
Glad someone said the truth, these fake gurus just do BS and nothing else. Surely we can make money via all these but the false hypes are too much.
Even in your video when I saw the $5xxx image I was enraged coz I have been working on an account from past 2 months have got 7k subs but still half way to monetize but thanks the last part gave some hope.
7k in 2 months is already great. keep it up!
Was it monetized finally?
@@qiyue yup monetized getting like 9 cents for 1k views.
@@AshutoshMishra-qc7nl This is very low. Somebody makes another niche - Reddit Stories, it is similar to this, bulk create and upload, it drives million views for few channels. But I'm not sure whether it can be monetized.
Great Vid. Forget the cash look at the strategy, imagine new stuff, take it to the next level. Processes + People = Profit.😊
Thanks!
Result is very good, I respect your video very helpfull
Super Nice vídeo. Thank you for the insights!
My pleasure!
I respect your honest work, and I like the video also
Thanks a lot!
Finally, someone who is honest about AI generated content.
Thanks
At the start of the video i have a thought: "why did he even need this channel, where he puts effort to explain all of this, if he can just do AI videos so easy?" I watched to the end, and now i understood why:) To be fair, if you continue to make those AI videos - i am sure that it will be very profitable in 6 month or so, and. And you will spend like 12 days of work, witch could be done even on a weekends. Starting a channel from zero is really hard despite of quality of a content that you are doing, but when you hit like 10 000 subs - it will be like a rolling snowball.
True! Starting from 0 is always the hardest. Once you build momentum, it will grow like a snowball.
Awesome. Exactly what i was looking for.
Great to hear!
Great content sir, thanks.
My pleasure
Thank you : your a genius and an amazing teacher :)
You're very welcome!
i enjoyed your video a lot, some new skills I learned.
Glad to hear that!
WOW amazing thank you so much. It was a disappointment lol at the end but so happy I found this and its real! All the other BS is just to grab you and its a lie. You make it real deal and its an amazing example of how to speed up the system or way of posting.
Thank you, you are doing great dude!!!
Would be interesting to see how long it would take for you to get 1000 subs. If you could do it in a few months, this strategy would make a decent passive income stream. I think only running the experiment for only a month was the problem here.
Thank you for your great tutorial and honest advice
You are welcome!
Too Honest !! Thanks for Making Video
Thanks!
Thanks for this video. I learned a lot
Great video, thank you for being honest.
My pleasure!
have you thought about showing a year or 6 months ? it is a long game, results of course will be slow and underwhelming in the beginning
Thank you so much for sharing all this!
You're welcome!
tHANK YOU, very useful info - based on experimentation without hype❤🍉
You're welcome!
Thanks for such an informative video.
This also show how algorithm react to content on youtube, like noticing the first week has a lot more engagement but then it kinda died down like the algorithm don't like it anymore.
Yes, good observation!
why did you include a screenshot on day 30 of estimated revenue etc when you didn't make any money off it at all? shameless clickbaiting is so sad.
simple. would u watch it if it was flat?
@@theAIsearchbro got a point 🤔
@@theAIsearch😂😂😂 100% true 😂😂
Hater talkin', brain showin',
Because he’s showing you the truth
Finally some honest videos about AI. Thank you for this honest advice ❤
Thank you!
True. Plus 1000 subscribers
This was a brand new channel, correct? Seems that it takes longer to gain traction with a newly created channel than one that's been active for a few months and with a handful of subs. Great video, I'll be doing some test runs adding in what I've learned here, thanks!
Yes, brand new plus I didn't promote it at all. All growth is organic from UA-cam
@@theAIsearch Awesome, thanks for the reply!
Unfortunarley ChatGPT does not understand what "do not repeat any of the above" or "make them unique" means. It constantly does repeat itself. I have even told it that it had repeated a line and requested it to rewrite and remove duplicates. It apologized and rewrote the prompt only to repeat itself again...LOL
happened to me, it's not that good
Happens to me all the time. You've got to proofread everything in chatgpt.
lol its good at apologizing

This is mind-blowing stuff, really it is! It's got me inspired to create a new Shorts series on an existing channel.
What would be a great way to mine existing content (that I own) from UA-cam to turn it into Shorts?
If you have content on this topic, I'm on it!
I haven't found a really good one that can turn long form content into shorts, but if I find one, i'll definitely make a video on it
Great work. You saved me quite a lot of time
Great to hear!
