I have some really big palettes, so I could do this with certain brands I think. The pup is so big.. what a cutie 🥰. I have started my no buy and I'm excited. Happy new year 🎊
For your collection, I think that at least testing formulas would be more helpful than touching every pan. Like if you have 5 pallets from a brand that you haven’t tired yet, take the color story you like the most, try that one out and if you hate the formula, then think about passing on all 5, with 4 of them being untouched, and then move on to the next brand. You might be able to sell some of them second hand and save that money for a fun trip or a Christmas fund for (I was going to say next year, but hell, it’s this year!)😂. I’m so excited for what you are planning for the year!!
If you want to add the pressure go for it! You can use the broken record analogy but not sure if the younger generation will get 😂. I hope you had a great New Year and your puppies were nice and calm. My little 80lb wasn't a fan of the fireworks.
Oh I like the Broken Record one!!! Records are back in style, lol, so maybe they will get it. Our pups did good! There was a lull in the fireworks around 10pm so we all went out and then were in for the rest of the night. Now, thunderstorms are a whole different story! I will have a 85 pound dog sitting my on shoulder if there is thunder! Poor pups. Happy New Year to you and your family, pups included, and no more fireworks until July!
You did amazingly!!! I loved hearing your thoughts on the palettes that you used. I have to agree with the Pat McGrath. I have the other Bridgerton palette. It was gifted to me and I so much appreciate that I received it as a gift and I will cherish it always, but I do have to agree about the quality. It was so much work to get any pigment on my eyes. The light blue icy shimmer is stunning in that palette but the mattes were just a bit underwhelming. Oh!!! Puppy!!! He has grown so much in just a week!!! Oh my goodness!! He is the handsomist boy!!!
Yeah, if it is one brand that does not live up to the hype, it’s PM. The special shades are beautiful, but everything else is not impressive at all. You have the yellow Bridgerton palette? I never understood why the two color stories were so similar? It’s like a different team worked on the yellow one and never looked at the previous collection. 🤦🏻♀️ And Mr. Wash is getting so big! It’s like every 3 days I have to let out his collar.
The oden palette is gorgeous! The lethal palettes are beautiful! They look so pigmented! All fun shades! For how much Natasha palettes are they shouldnt make noise. I have some 5 pans ones I got from boxy. I haven't really touched them yet. Im doing this project I just need to post. I'm starting with 4 palettes and will randomly roll them in. I have 52 palettes. So I need to get started. Lol I dont wear makeup so I need to start!
I am so excited about trying more indie brands this year because their shades are so pretty! I agree that the ND palettes should make noise. I think I fixed my Glam palette though! I don't know how to start doing no palette left behind what I been doing is getting 15 palettes every moth and trying them out twice and rotate new ones the upcoming month. My eyeshadow collection gives me anxiety, I love that I have so many beautiful shades but its also overwhelming.
Yes it can be so overwhelming! Now that I’m done with the project, I had a hard time picking out palettes to wear over the last few days. I ended up just rolling my tiny decisions wheel and letting that pick the palettes for me. My No Pan Left Behind Intro for 2024 is going up on Jan 25th and I go over how I am going to structure my project and roll in palettes for the year. ☺️
