I'm glad the Bonnie got an amazing goodbye . People keep saying that Damon should've gotten a different goodbye scene, but he will see her again. Bonnie won't. I love Delena, but this was really supposed to be more about Bonnie .
Yeah they all should have gotten a great goodbye but it should have been abt jermy, Bonnie, alirick , typer, and Matt, because at that time they thought she would have not worked up until Bonnie was dead and by that time Bonnie, jermy, alirick, Tyler, and Matt would have been dead so they should have all had a great good bye. And when Elena woke up Tyler was dead.
tbh I feel like the most important goodbyes are with Jeremy, Bonnie/Caroline, Matt, and Tyler. They've known Elena for all their lives, and after the Salvatore bros entered, their lives changed forever. Their goodbyes made me the saddest bc they have a deeper, human connection with Elena. I loved the Delena/Stelena goodbye and also Alaric's but those were def my fave to watch and the ones that make me cry the most.

elena is a very overhated character, and i never will understand why people just hated her. i get finding her annoying or whiny, but elena has always been a nurturing, kind person and her positive traits are always overlooked. i think it might be rooted in misogyny, considering her morals have been in the right place for the entire series, except for when she burned down her house and turned off her humanity. damon, however, for some reason gets excuses for every terrible thing he’s done, and most terrible things he’s done are way worse than any bad deed elena has done. i love both characters, but i think elena needs to be cut some slack.

Like yeah, she had moments where she was annoying but so did Bonnie, Damon, Caroline, Stefan, Jeremy- literally every other character had annoying moments too, Elena’s just seem magnified since she gets the most screen time. At the end of the day though she has always been willing to make sacrifices for her loved ones. She’s always been willing to lay down her life just like any of the others, and beyond that she almost always did her best to understand and love the others even if they did wrong. Elena isn’t half as bad as ppl make her out to be especially considering the fact that literally someone she loves seems to die every season

It's been almost 3 years since TVD ended and I'm still over here, watching a season 6 finale, CRYING MY EYES OUT. I know Nina was technically only on for 6 seasons but I missed her the last 2 seasons of tvd. I know that these actors have their own lives and different plans set for themselves and tvd wasn't their entire life, but I still feel like, if you start a project, especially as a main cast, you should still see it through until the end. I know that's selfish of me and I couldn't possibly understand the lives of celebrities or whatever, but I still think there was so much potential and growth to be had and just putting Nina's character to sleep with her life linked to Bonnie's was kinda... idk "eh". I would LOVE to see anyone from this cast to make an appearance on Legacies!! I know Nina and Ian had a little awkwardness during the final parts of tvd or whatever, but having "doctor" Elena show up somehow would be AMAZING!
But in some case if show has good ratting they will keep adding season... In lot show actors want to exit from their own show to act in Diffrent project... I think it's best to end a series aa per contract...
this is actually factual if you look at it from the business side, when Nina left the production the shows viewer count plummeted and caused them to only receive two more seasons and season 8 was cut short. when Nina signed onto do the show. the original plan was for there to be 13 seasons to go along with the 13 books. there's never been a show to make it when the main actor or actress leaves and there will probably never will be. Nina was the glue and without her. the whole show fell apart. even the writing was different after Nina's departure.
What I've missed is the goodbye to Caroline. And I knkw that they'll see each other again, but it still hurts. And the worst thing is that Care never really got the chance to say goodbye to anyone except Klaus.

Bonnie is a really great character. Always making sacrifices for others, It was beautiful that Elena acknowledged this so beautifully. She should have had a better ending with Enzo.
I remember watching this in tears and I said if they don't bring Jeremy back I would be mad and then I saw him pop up and I cried even more. I cried especially with the pillow fluff part it was a memory I didn't think I remembered.

I would LOVE to see anyone from this cast to make an appearance on Legacies!! I know Nina and Ian had a little awkwardness during the final parts of tvd or whatever, but having "doctor" Elena show up somehow would be AMAZING!

this is actually factual if you look at it from the business side, when Nina left the production the shows viewer count plummeted and caused them to only receive two more seasons and season 8 was cut short.
when Nina signed onto do the show. the original plan was for there to be 13 seasons to go along with the 13 books.
there's never been a show to make it when the main actor or actress leaves and there will probably never will be.
Nina was the glue and without her. the whole show fell apart. even the writing was different after Nina's departure.
What I've missed is the goodbye to Caroline. And I knkw that they'll see each other again, but it still hurts. And the worst thing is that Care never really got the chance to say goodbye to anyone except Klaus.
