Nina brought out such a special side of Ian that I haven't seen Nikki bring out in him. Ian used to be so fun and resembled Damon in an amazing way when he was with Nina. Now he's all serious, I'm not saying this is a bad thing, but I'm just saying that I really miss the Ian that he used to be with Nina.
That is also because he is now 41 so he has matured. It is hard for people to keep on having the same humor as they used to have when they were this much younger.
I completely agree with that. It's about what you are with a person who you feel comfortable with.I'm not saying he is uncomfortable with his wife or anything like that. I'm just saying that he was a little more open and cheerful when he was with her. You know actually I think the age difference thing is kind of beautiful. She was awfully young, in her early 20s and he was in his 30s. Again I'm not saying that he was old. But it never happens that when we were 20 we are the same person when we will be 30. So maybe she kinda reminded him of his younger phase

Amanda Kate I agree and I think that was only because of how awkward it was and how out of hand the drama and the media got with their breakup. Even after they broke up (around season 4 I think) they still had amazing chemistry! It just became so awkward with the rumors and his wife and everything.

You know when Ian described how he got the part through so many testing and being rejected once, in that moment I knew that he's the only person who can play Damon effortlessly. He gave me that 'Damon gets what Damon wants' vibe, in a positive way.
