I felt bad for her but towards the end the waitress was actually feeling for the poor girl even though she was tough on her at the start she actually felt bad at least she gave her, her food back and her purse which is all that matters and gave her instructions on where to go to which was very helpful and generous of her to do the ending part made me tear up 🥹😢🤧🫶🏻
I like how you can tell by the distrubed expression on the waitresses face at the end, that this was the first time she'd ever truly seen what it was like to be black in America, and she didn't like it.
Dude I’m glad I didn’t go to Florida. There was this dude on instagram who wanted to meet up with me real bad. God has kept me safe man before I knew sundown towns existed until I was in my 20s. Dude was gonna plot to kill me for sure. Also when I use to work in California, one of my best friends was white and from a sundown town. I was going to rent a room with him and I’m glad I didn’t because he was asking me weird questions before hand asking, if I had a lot of stuff. When I said no, he looked satisfied and said “that’s good”. Then he walked past me and told whispered “I’m going poison your food, R* you and kiII you”. Back then we were making semi edgy jokes but man, thinking back on those situations. I now know the dude wasn’t joking. I was in danger so many times but God just kept me in the right direction from making decisions that would get me kiIIed. Crazy world and can’t trust anyone but family. You can talk to people but keep them at a distance and don’t get comfy.
