Dazar'alor - Music & Ambience (1 hour, 4K, World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth aka BfA)

- Dazar'alor world was a challenge and a demonstration of development performance for Blizzard. The city is stunning, there are so many things happening there, that I have to ask myself how is this going to affect the players with low spec computers. There is a clear improvement made by Blizzard (it's actually implemented for a while now, but on this zone is noticeable a lot), they load (at least) 2 types of textures, one for far view (less accurate) and one for closer details.
Dazar'alor is King Rastakhan's palace in Zuldazar. The Great Seal, in its interior chamber, serves as the Horde's embassy on Zandalar and includes some portals to each major city and expansions, profession trainers, bank and guild banks, transmogifier and a mission table.
With the damage caused by the Cataclysm, Rastakhan's palace tilted to the side. However it, like most of the rest of the city, was rebuilt.

After watching your Nazmir video, i just "shit i have to play horde this expansion!". So i used my boost on a troll hunter, just for the lore haha. Little bit scared after played alliance last 8 years, but what the heck! haha
You don't have to create a Horde main for BfA. Just level-up another character. I imagine that you have your gold, materials etc. on Alliance side. To start from scratch it will be a big disadvantage. :) Plus, you might realize that's not for you. But if you really want to, just go for it, it's just a game! :)
Wow, some really cool peruvian influences. Really faithful as well.
It's interesting that the Alliance got the more "grim" atmosphere and the Horde zone looks more light-hearted and adventurous. It's usually the other way around.
I'm not familiar with the troll / Dazar'alor influences - I need to read more :)

Grim vs light hearted, as for scenery yes, but for music, not really. Both capital cities have uplifting music.

For the cities, that's true. Although, the Alliance have Tiragarde Sound & Stormsong Valley, which are very happy, pretty places, whereas horde have Vol'dun, a barren desert, and Nazmir, a forsaken jungle.
I know I watched this a month ago, but I just cannot get over how cool this zone is. So jealous of those who got to play it!
the music in the great seal... oh my gosh. I don't think i've ever stopped to just listen to a song before but it's just so good and so epic
Its funny to think I've literally waited over a decade for this. I remember when lore stated trolls met up at zuldazar every six years.
"Yes! I only have to wait it out!" I thought, but that timeline came and went. Still the Zandalari were friendly...but even that passed.
The thunder king nearly destroyed all hope. Zandalar in ruins, Zul in charge. Metzen even drunkenly tweeting "Trolls are done."
Two more expansions would pass and not only does Zandalar reappear, but they are even playable!

Hehe. Now we have to wait a decade to see a new Teldrassil? Asking for a friend...
Teldrassil was very interesting in its progression up until this point. Plenty of novice Night Elves make the mistake of thinking Teldrassil ancient when it was really just as new as Orgrimmar. Something I don't think was really explored as well as it could have been was that fact Night Elves had just lost their immortality at the beginning of WoW. This would come to a head in Cata when Teldrassil was blessed off and they regained it. But now, just a few years later they're mortal again.
And that's really the key I don't think is being emphasized again. Ya, Night Elves lost their home but also they're going to die again. I mean for a ten thousand year old, this has been an emotional roller coaster. Personally I think "making the elves mortal" should have been the primary motivator for burning Teldrassil, but fine, spur of the moment spite.
Certainly planting another world tree would be an epic direction. Though I would suspect a few years for the seed of that idea to sprout.

Man I love the music from that zone
Oh my god. I think BfA atmosphere will be similar to Mists of Pandaria,in a good way. Especially in Horde locations. This adventurous atmosphere,and so much new to explore,tortollans,blood trolls,loa,sethraks,and others. From WOTLK my main was human warrior,but in the Battle for Azeroth I will play troll hunter, because of this atmosphere,and beautiful Zandalar.
All the zones which I've experienced so far have their own charm. The Alliance ones are more dark / mysterious and the Horde ones are exotic. My advice: discover them all :-D
Really like this one, went over a few times. I would fish forever in that zone :P
The Sliver (40:00) - the bridge in the middle is full of trolls who are fishing :-)

Naw, they've got that pompous stuff over there. I keep a couple of Alliance alts levelled up but 99% of the time, I play the Horde.
Blizz really outdid themselves on the musical score for this expansion...and that's saying something!
