Alot of people miss the point of what MoP was supposed to be about......healing. This is why it came right off the back of Cataclysm. An expansion about the burning of the world. But what usualy comes after a fire is new growth, rebirth...call it what you will. Mists of Pandaria allowed people to have a place of their own. A place to sit and meditate. A place to look in wonder at the simple beauty of one's surroundings. A place to escape the violence of the world both in and out. I come back to Halfhill to work on my farm sometimes when I want to be alone and just till the soil and farm some Ghost Iron Ore. This is probably the one zone I always have the game music on for. It's very therapeutic for me and it's my favourite expansion after TBC ; ] Thank you for this upload : ]
I actually went back and created a Druid so I could try running him through every single quest from the character's beginning to current content. On the way I would collect all the pets, try to level my crafting, and basically try to complete as much as I could in every zone. I actually made it all the way to Pandaria. There, I found it so relaxing, so immersive, and so enjoyable that I had no problem quitting my Druid and creating a Pandaren Monk, and starting all over again just so I could feel even more part of Pandaria. The music, atmosphere, design, quests, side-quests, secondary elements, and story are fantastic. Literally the best expansion in the game.
I loved this zone so much. So heart-warming and inviting. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to have a relaxing hour of this while I sit on my porch, enjoying the cool breeze.
It's been 11 years already since we all had a chance to explore magnificent continent of Pandaria. And this music.... I've had the best time in WoW back then. I was lonely in RL but had a lot of friends in WoW in my guild.. Thank you blizzard... I will remember that magic period for the rest of my life.
"Those figures moving about, each of them has a soul," Old Ri continued. "And together, we share this space. Millions of souls, sharing one place together. Our place! Halfhill is real, so long as you and I are here together to enjoy it." From the book found at the lazy turnip inn “Old Ri and the Million Souls” 🥰
It was the last expansion to focus on ambience music rather than more blockbuster movie soundtrack style. Don't get me wrong, it is great music but often overwhelming. If wrath was not the end of classic, then MoP should be. From WoD we are defo deep into retail territory with mindset similar to BfA/SL/DF in all aspects.
I miss Mist of Pandaria! It was the defining moment of my life. I lost the one i loved and i spent many hours during the quests literally crying and weeping over the loss. The magic of World of Warcraft.
Certainly my favorite expansion, not much forced content that got you overwhelmed or did not felt was a tiring core who punishing if did not. Lots of chill stuff, this expansion made me really enjoy the game most and played literally daily wen could. I felt i really had the time to focus on professions too in my own phase, Loved the cooking and fishing dailies. I felt complete tranquility. For sure my favorite expansion of all time in WoW.
My favorite expansion in the game from the quests, to the music, to the visuals. All spectacular, and then finding out that the whole expansion takes place on the back of... well, will try not to spoil it TOO much for those who haven't played this expansion yet
At the time, me and my buddies sorta saw this expac as a joke. Looking back at it, I seriously miss hopping onto my toon and flying to Halfhill to harvest my crops and whatnot.
This track is especially awesome for studying and reading. Love your channel so much! This really is the perfect background music to get things done without getting too distracted, and plenty of variety to choose from! Thank you so much!!
When MoP was announced I was like "wtf, this isnt WoW" Fast forward 6 years later and I love my panda hunter the most of all, wishing we could go back to that much simpler time :')
Approximately one month late but... In my opinion, World of Warcraft is the best MMORPG ever because of the storylines, lore, the zones, and their music.
I've been waiting so long for this one. It's a beautiful, heart-warming zone, with so much character; my level-capped Tauren Druid is still hearthbound to his farm here, and if I could retire here irl, I would!
The silence gnawed at me. Every single room looked the same. I wandered aimlessly throughout the halls.... how long had I been here? Hours? Days? Weeks...? Food was low, and my wolf and I were slowly going insane from the silence. I'm scared. I havent bathed in so long... every joint in my body hurts from wandering, and my voice was raspy from screaming to fill the silence... I save it now only to communicate with my pet. The Riddle of the Lucid Nightmare, they called it. Nightmare was too mild a word to describe the utter despair I felt.... doomed to walk through the same rooms, never knowing where the exit was.... I cant find the last altar for the red orb... I curled up and cried on one of the empty ones for a while, scared that this was a trick and that this would be my tomb.... My pet, Faoladh, barked a couple rooms over, and he tracked down the last altar. Numb, I walked into the next room and found the maze was over... I didnt even bother to read the note on the ground. I picked it up and shoved it in my pocket. When I left.... I found myself, somehow, in the open maw of the dam, cascading water into the Valley of the Four winds... I descended down to the ground and cried again... never was I so relieved to see the sunshine and taste the waters of Pandaria. The last clue had been solved. Now to trek to Karazhan to claim my hard earned prize... --- This music was the soothing lotion after nonstop pain and agony getting that fucking mount
I really liked the music in this expansion. Valley of the four winds was my favorite for calmness and relaxation while farming (my farm) and also going after herbs and ore. Next to Sholazar Basin, I found this and Jade Forest most peaceful while plinkin’ ore 😊
I was so excited when this expansion was announced. The beautiful music and atmosphere lived up to everything I thought it would be. :) More MoP music plz!
*sits contemplating the wonderful music, admiring thew scenery and graphics of the game, as well as the intricate questing line...*"LOOT AND PILLAGE...MUAHAHAHAHA"
Someone please help me. This music just crossed my mind again and I remember how powerfully the Sunsong Ranch monk chant would hit me. It was only about 20 seconds but it would take my breath away and bring tears to my eyes 11:00 - 11:20 is the closest, but it was male chanting - so mournful. Someone help? Thank you.
11:50 Always made me stop when I'd hear it and just listen it to the end...I don't know what it is about this particular soundtrack that I like the most.
Played every expansion but I stopped at the end of Legion. Did not feel it anymore,. But gladly we still have the beautiful music like this one to enjoy. It brings back great memories, good times, good times.
It reminds me of few great quests there: especially that one when you train in the jungle and those for nesingwary camp (and also farming Galleon). (: ty for video
oh thank you. pandaria remains the best expansion for music imo. so much variety in the zones compared to what we got in legion/bfa. I enjoy the new themes but blizz is not doing as many variations on the same themes or if they do, it's a one off play in a scenario. I miss the day/night cycle of music in particular. thank you for doing this zone.
Has anyone else noticed that the tracks named Valley of the Four Winds sound pretty similar to the Shen-zin Su tracks on the Wandering Isle? I think it's a really cool detail considering Liu Lang was born in the valley.
Miss my farm. Calmest and coziest place in Azeroth.
so true
While the vines and birds beat you senseless. Lol. God I miss that place music there was unlike ANY other.
I'm still going there to farm my mote of harmony gold purposes :D
It's not Azeroth. It's Pandaria, a whole different continent ;)
@@Shadowrazer19 Azeroth is a planet. And Pandaria is in that planet..

6:00 Calming Pandaria music… with a giant insect monster wreaking havoc in the background. So peaceful.

They were speaking to us in a very deliberate way, I remember that so well. Felt so much empathy there.
The chill of this zone. The Stormstout questline. The music. The wild life. Apart from the Jade Forest. This is one of my favourite zones.

I am sorry for your loss. Mists of Pandaria helped me through the most difficult time of my life, also. Hoping things are better for you now.
😢😢❤ cry 😭 a lot. Start watching this, remember 15+ years ago.. i live in wow... That was my calm and beautiful world... Thanks 🙏 God for memories...

33:00 - 34:00 is one of the most beautiful single pieces of music i've heard in WoW
31:15 this... this is just unbelievable...
The song is called way of the monk
Absolutely beautiful! Blizzard finds the best most talented music composers!
my all time favorite zone, the whole zone feels so warming and comfortable, chilling in halfhill with this music is giving me maximum relaxing vibes

My favorite zone from MoP. Beautiful rolling hills and lush farms. Happy days of questing and then tending to your crops on Sunsong Ranch!
I joined WoW in MoP and the first time I played on this zone I fell in love with the game. Maintaining my farm was the most fun I've ever had in WoW
