@@piejupiterfor me it was getting to 8 like 3 times after like a week of grinding, and than losing all my consistency, quitting, doing the same thing 2 more times over the next 6-7 months, and randomly getting consistent to 9 when I started only playing on weekends and eventually beating it like that.

I failed the low roof jumps near the four stud stickout on my first 6 run, but I fell onto the end of 5. and on the same run, I fluked the rest of 6 and made it to 7
i STRONGLY recommend you do at least 1 mid cata before toer. i know you like jumping, and i did too. but because of the logarithmic nature of the difficulty chart, toer is so much farther apart from togf than you can imagine.
@@piejupiter thats what i did, and no worries if you do too! my hardest right now is todie and although i still look at toer as my dream tower, i am much happier now than when i was grinding toer - completely burnt out by the way. best of luck on whatever you choose to do.
for anyone seeing this, dont grind toua as a new hardest, it will literally make you worse at nearly any catastrophic tower in the game, my skill a week after i beat toua vs a few months is like a toh player vs coiler on tots (maybe because i spent 3 months playing one tower but i swear im not lying) [yes this is cope but the tower is awful please ignore this when looking for a new hardest]
