Yeah, it makes me realize something. Hollywood has ALWAYS controlled the news media, which is how they've always covered up this stuff. But they don't have control over the Internet (despite their best efforts), which is why so much of this stuff is starting to come out now. It's not that things are worse now than they used to be, it's that we are only NOW able to learn about this without Hollywood filtering out the things they wanted to hide. Because the news media has way less control over what people hear now compared to how much control they had a few decades back. So now even though we knew Hollywood was a rotten cesspool of human filth, we're now starting to learn just how widespread and common it is among all of them, rather than what we believed before: which was that it was just a handful of the most powerful people at the top.

What would help people to not assume those that speak out are only in it for money, is if they would stop SUING the people that harmed them and press criminal charges instead. Stop trying to get money. Put criminals in jail.

You've got it backwards. These people are not suing in civil court just to recover money. Often, in order to "bring someone to justice" in the criminal courts, you must rely on a prosecutor to file the charges and pursue it. If they are corrupt, or if they feel the evidence is not strong enough, then the accuser has no other option but a civil lawsuit to bring out the information. Remember that the Goldman family only got any "justice" for their son Ron by suing OJ Simpson in a civil lawsuit, where he was found responsible, and their lawyers pursued him for the rest of his wretched life. It was because he was trying to hide assets from that Goldman lawsuit that he did some crazy shit in Vegas that finally got him arrested and jailed. Imperfect justice, but better than nothing.

Love Crisin Glover. He's a good guy. I live in a small city and Glover came here and rented a tiny venue to present his current project, at the time. I had a coworker who wrote plays and screen plays. She went to see him, gave him her screeplay which he happily accepted, and they became email pen pals. Down to earth guy.

Children are protected on set. They must be in sight and hearing of their parent/guardian or studio teacher at all times. The main problem is that the parent/guardian gives powerful people private açcess to their child, usually off set. Theyre so blinded that they don't say no or think deeply about why this meeting, rehearsal, etc has to be private.

If you work in the industry today, maybe... but many occasions are on record where parents interfered in the set, whether we would coin them helicopter parents today, or abusive/invasive practices on set, some directors or producers would provide an advocate for a child, in lieu of having parents underfoot. Though, you are right, parents gave more access to their child and put them in situations that were beyond their maturity level ... particularly when more dollar signs were involved.
@@Gimpygladiator when did that happen? A director, producer, etc cannot take a parent's authority over their child away and force them to accept an advocate in their place. A parent might agree to a guardian in their place, but they certainly shouldn't unless it's someone they trust.

She died of natural causes in 1988, after starring in Poltergeist 3 (1988), which Spielberg neither directed nor produced. If you're going to make up shit, at least try to make it somehow plausible.
