Family Guy is the definition of equal opportunity, everybody gets it, no one is left out, no one is out of bounds.
yeah honestly want more jokes about that relate to me
Same thing applies to South Park.
Gotta agree with that.
That's the way it should be, I'm Italian I think Italian jokes are hilarious, laughter is healing, all black comedy is based on jokes thrown at white people and it's hilarious and white comics jokes at black people were hilariously too but all the white dumbass college kids started crying about it and for some reason society keeps blowing down to these young fools who have gone through or done jack shit with their lives but for some reason they get to dictate to society more then the people who stormed the beaches on D-Day to kill the fascists these young jackasses want to accuse them of being, shit is ass backwards and society needs to shut these young college idiots down
That's what I love about Family Guy, EVERYONE and EVERYTHING is fair game. 😆
Love/hate equally. Comedy at its finest!
Family Guy, South Park, etc. are the definition of social critism. It's important that such shows are kept on. Would be dumb to cancel them.
...It would be dumb to NOT cancel Family Guy. It has plagued us with annoying since some time in the 2000s.... Luckily, people rarely talk about it or turn it on a TV anymore, so that we aren't forced to be exposed to the drivel, but that's hardly a good reason to keep it on TV... you could simply replace it with something else that also ignores feminists, but which isn't boring and annoying.
@@Rayvn7 *shakes my head*
@@Rayvn7 It's always weird when a majority of people enjoy something, but the ones that don't like it think something is wrong with the thing they don't like. :D
@@Rayvn7 They make these things....hmmm....remote controls?? Change the channel. If it's not for you they made a button for that. On your TV.
@@Rayvn7 Oh, so you want the m to talk trash about femenists as well? damn, maybe you should tell that to the producers, I would also love that.
The biggest reason they get away with these jokes is because they only sneak a handful of them per season and the show has a ton of seasons
The show has also solidified itself early on through popularity by making high ratings with its extreme comedy which basically ensured it would keep airing for a long time
Let’s also not forget that the punchline for the very first joke of Season 1 Episode 1 was “Jemima’s witnesses”. So, yeah, they set the stage right off the bat and somehow still stayed on air for a very long time
The shows literally been cancelled several times and then revived through fan efforts and etc.
Not to mention they target everyone
They got away with it because occupy wall street didn't happen yet and there was no urgency to divide the country yet.
then explain south park, lol
Family guy is actually in the midst of its 21st season believe it or not haha
In videos like this, there's always so many comments like "it was a different time", "you couldn't do anything like this now", "people today get so offended", and it's like, you know the show is still on the air and still telling these sort of jokes, right? Not to mention shows like South Park and It's Always Sunny. There were people who were offended back then, just as there are people who get offended now, but overall, it's still quite acceptable to tell off-color jokes. At most you have to be a bit more careful to ensure that you're not just blatantly punching down.
@@SuperDrocket we lose freedom of speech in this country, and we're all doomed. cancel culture is too chicken shit to even touch this one.
@@SuperDrocket and most people overlook that many of the jokes are mocking racists, which is very different than just having racist jokes for the hell of it
@Drocket yeah exactly that's why I felt like I should tell him it's still on because he seemed under the impression it wasn't airing anymore lol also that's true and shows like family guy usually give the business to all races and groups, not just one gets singled out
@Joshua Snow that's true as well it's like "this is how a racist thinks" like Lois' dad gets jokes like that a lot lol
Yeah, that's exactly why it stayed on. People were not weak back then. And we didn't cater to the zero point one percent that are offended
As an Indian, Wintu, I am glad to get some representation here. Good ole family guy.
I absolutely love family guy and these jokes, ive always loved a bit of darker humor. I think theres a clear line between jokes and not jokes and obviously saying these things to someones face would be awful, but in a show like this its clearly jokes and gives a good laugh. Ill forever love family guy!
Family Guy and South Park were the definition of hard-hitting humor, but when it came to issues like race, religion, history and politics, under the "crude" jokes there was almost always a deeper layer of reflection about society as an all. In Family Guy, despite having lost quality overtime, (don't get me wrong, they still do some banger episodes nowadays) even the more in-you-face and stereotypical jokes, can be perceived as a self-reflecting mirror, because of how absurd they are the way Family Guy presents them.
Yes, the joke is usually the racist, not the racism.
"Guys, how did this stay on TV?"
Me outloud: "Because it was pointing shit out, lolo"
First, wishing and prayers for a speedy and full recovery. Second, This stayed on TV and still is on TV because it’s glorious 🤣🤣🤣. It’s melting pot of stereotypical ingredients stewed to perfection. Please react to more of it 🤣
"How did it get on tv"? Because its fecking hilarious 😂 😃 😄 😁
Dude, you didn’t even get to the Black-U-Weather forecasts, which are some of the funniest exchanges on the show. Love these reaction vids, you are epic!
3:55 is my favorite bit in Family Guy history. So funny, so much packed into that small flash back. Genius.
Family guy is hilarious. Anyone whom is offended has the free will to turn it off. Glade to see your not a " snowflake" great sense of humor.
Family Guy is still on air and still doing crazy shit.
But it’s okay to have a sitcom called Black-ish ? Imagine if they made a show called White-ish ? Stop being soft.
@@iLLooZhen ❄️
@@mikeuk666 lol
Those of us who grew up in the 90s definitely had a unique sense of offensive humor. It was just progressive enough to be open and excepting of different people and cultures while still being unapologetic with its stereotyping humor.
12:59 you're very right we weren't offended we knew it was comedy but these days everything has to be politically correct and all the ones jumping up and down about things that aren't politically correct are worse than most people behind the closed doors because all of them are hypocrites
I'm glad that you said Gen Z wouldn't be able to handle this. Most people over 50 don't realize that most Millennials are in their 30s and the oldest are already in their 40s. They, along with tail end Gen Xers grew up with offensive cartoons like The Simpsons, Family Guy, and South Park.
gen z is the only reason family guy is still on the air. take the ‘pick me’ attitude elsewhere lol
Yes! Millennial here, and 42. Perfectly fine with this kind of humor.
Lol he didn't even watch the "they respected me for saying it" bit 😂
13:12 As a Canadian I found this hilarious😂🇨🇦
"I'm not easily offended"... Gets offended about every joke xd
It's not even from a racially biast stand point. It's ironically commenting on the racial issues in the world today by mocking those people who hold those views. It's not in anyway racist. It's highlighting how stupid and ignorant racism is. It's brilliant 👏
Thank you! Even with comedy aside, simply recognizing common stereotypes in other people in no way makes a person inherently racist. It means they're socially aware.
@@Foxx488 it baffles me that people don't understand that. It's same with irony in stand up comedy. People seem to be offended by someone who highlights the madness of it, and misunderstands it as the comedian being racist or sexist or homophobic etc. Its a sad state of affairs really, the current climate of being offended, through ignorance
@@michaelsmith9621 absolutely true. Well said.
still one of the greatest shows nothing off limit and its still running
Gen z absolutely loves Family Guy! They know how to make a joke and it’s not just one group. It’s people that don’t know how to make a joke or the joke is too insensitive that Gen z don’t like. Plus this is what family is also known for.
when you "got" the abraham lincoln joke, that was priceless. great reactions.
I love a show where everyone gets made fun of equally. The Simpsons And family guy mastered this
As long as people think they are better then others. This subject will never be going away. The jokes are 1 of many reasons... PERIOD...
12:30 the whole implication of this joke is that we're living in a racist country. So the message of the joke doesn't conflict at all with the orthodoxy of the people who tend to want to "cancel" things.
Ayyy love to see bro keep up 🎉🔥🔥
2:42 "Livin in the projects, broke with no lights on." 😭😭
It looks like a lot because you're watching it back to back in a compilation. Usually, it would take watching like 20 episodes or even more to find even one of these jokes.
I wish people would stop saying "you can't make this today". YES, yes you can, you just need to be smarter about it. The reason why Family Guy is allowed to tell these jokes is because that's not the ONLY kind of jokes they tell, the person making the joke is usually portrayed as being ignorant, or they get called out on it or eat shit immediately afterwards, or they're making some form of social commentary. Secondly, the writers room isn't just a group of white guys trying to joke about something they don't understand.
Bro I grew up in the 2000's i love family Guy I love the racial jokes they go after everyone ain't no one off-limits 😂😂🇺🇲
💯 u should definitely do more family guy 😂
14:18 what do we do with this what we always have done laugh😂😂
ok peter doing the street fighter moves gets me every time
It's great cus everyone gets the smoke 🤣🤣
4:01 the scream I scrum when that giggle hits its peak
What a great reaction hahahahaha I love it!
This is my favorite reaction you’ve done. I hate racism. Your reaction to this one is funny. Glad you’re not easily offended. But this was fun.
I think 100%, or close to that, of intellectually honest people will be able to tell you that: The jokes are not racist, they are jokes making fun of racism as a concept and racists as people. It baffles me that anyone would take offense that are not racists, because the jokes are all at the expense of them.
I will point out, you can still joke about anything today, be as edgy as you want... You just can't be lazy about it anymore, if you're going to do extremely edgy comedy you need to have excellent timing and delivery, can't just rely on shock-value like they used to.
Well said.
Family Guy, South Park and American Dad are all still on the air with new episodes coming out regularly. Family Guy is in season 23, South Park is in season 27 and American Dad is in season 21. They are some of the longest running shows in television history.
two years later... still on the air! 🥳
It's still on TV ...it did technically get cancelled 2-3 times so far XD
MrLboyd has the most expressive face
That fact that Family Guy has 21 Seasons with Season 22 coming in May of 2023 is astonishing
Glad you're feeling better
This is one of the best compilations for reaction channels
The funnies jokes are those that are facetious.
Love this🔥🔥🔥 react to south park moments. American dad moments. Eric Andre pranks. keep up awesome work fam
Lol South Park and Family Guy are still on air still doing this stuff
12:14 In New Orleans TO THIS DAY the brown bag concerts in the park are exactly like this. Dark skinned blacks will not let light skinned blacks into their venues and to a certain extent vice versa. In other communities the brown bag is to hold your lunch so you can enjoy some music and get right back to work. In New Orleans they/we hold it up to your arm, to determine of you can watch this band today. edit: see "brown paper bag test" I promise it goes both ways, I'm a lighter skinned black, and I'm not allowed into most places that use the bag. I understand that it seems like poetic justice but it is dividing the black community when we need to stick together. Family guy showed these things to make their audience aware that these things happened and were wrong. They were not "getting away" with offensive behavior, they were fighting it by putting a spotlight on it. Don't judge past behaviors by today's politics. Today sucks azz and you will be embarrassed of your past-self, very soon.
I read this comment and was shook! Really? I had no idea stuff like that still happens. I mean, I'm translucent white and not from that area but wow. I obviously understand racism and colorism is an issue, I just didn't know THIS was a thing. I never understood the brown bag reference. Racism and colorism are still alive and thriving it seems. Dang!
It stayed on tv because it’s calling out the racists as much as it is making fun of stereotypes.
10:35 "And shoutout to my homeboy OJ. Keep up the good work" - New Jack (1996)
- How did this stay on TV?
- Just out of being really good and funny, like it should be
These are great 😅
Get better soon bro!
Family Guy Does Everyone Wrong!!! LOL
This is why Family guy is great.
The show isn't promoting racism, it's showing how stupid racism is while making us laugh. The audience isn't laughing at other races, they're laughing at racism, because it's clearly stupid.
I think the major point that people seem to miss as they marvel "How did this stay on the air?!", is that these are not racist jokes, but jokes ABOUT racists. The racist is the butt of the joke. I think most people are actually aware enough to understand that consciously or not... hence no major outcry against Family Guy, but Kanye with his Evil Jewish Masterminds(TM) gets kicked.
His face for the most of the video lmao
I think it stayed on because of the time it was created being just right combined with the fact that it’s a show loved by many. And also this being a 10 minute compilation of the many seasons they’ve had. Along with them joking about all races.
Think it just had the recipe to last a long time and entertain everyone with that sense of humor.
The "horse with the long face” bit is from Seth MacFarlane's Comedy Cavalcade. That definitely deserves it's own reaction.
if the black ball has nothing to hide, it has nothing to fear... xD
Family guy is extremely ruthless/merciless. They’re like one of the few tv shows that can get away with anything
Sorry to hear you are sick. I hope you are well soon.
Family guy is an all-around offender. It was about the jokes, many of which poke fun at societal stereotypes and still do. As Ricky Gervais said it's about comedy coming from a good or bad place, and I think FG was balanced and came from a good place.
Whether Gen Z can handle it or not, the writers of Family Guy ruthlessly plough on with their jokes. They don't care who they offend! 🤣
I was raised in a very traditionally Italian household My mother is 100% Italian 2nd generation American And my father is 75% Italian I absolutely love when family guy makes fun of Italians it is so freaking funny half the stereotypes He spooves on does at least a kernel of truth too you got ta love it
Same here. The “cutting in line” bit is one of my favorites. My sister and I quote it to each other all the time.
I remember when a lot of celebrities would get made fun of with these offensive jokes about them and they would also get in on it.
2:50 I think it was supposed to be a joke about power outages cuz we don’t pay our bills on time 😭😂
Damn never thought of that lmaooo, but I think it isn't as clever as that xD I think it's face value
@@jontraz5993 Family Guy is very clever with its joke writing. If there’s a chance it meant something other than the face-value reading, then it probably did.
@@bob513993 I'm with you, but again, your theory is too great xD
We need this stuff, Eddie Murphy (Raw era), Richard Pryor, Robin Williams, and George Carlin streaming directly into peoples brains to toughen folks back up.
If everyone could laugh at this .. The world would be a better place.
It’s great anytime we have a good laugh at all our expense.
Family Guy stayed on the air for two reasons:
First, they made fun of everyone. Nobody was exempt.
Second, and most importantly, people got that it was a joke. That they weren't using the stereotypes to make fun of people, they were using the stereotypes to make fun of the stereotypes themselves.
South Park was the same way, nothing was sacred and everything was a target.
Everyone gets it equally, there's no discrimination with the discrimination.
Asking if gen z can handle this like this show hasn't been airing my whole life
"They wouldn't get away with this today"
Wait... aren't some of these from new episodes?
they are. LOL
Man, people be saying that all the time and controversial stuff keep coming out.
At this point I reckon it's just something people say because it "feels" that way, when in reality there's just more crybabies given platforms like twitter/TikTok n such
Nobody tell him about South Park, and how the planet is an unlimited source of material, regardless of the time period :D
Are we there yet, are we there yet? Grr, don't MAKE me turn this ship around....Sounds alright to me, yeah.
😆
Comedy the way it should be no holds barred and no one is safe
I think things like this should definitely still be on TV to desensitize people a bit.
It is still on TV and still making new episodes.
The crystal generation will never understand that comedy is always accompanied by sarcasm, "racism" and social criticism. That's why we laugh, because we identify with the problems.
Many crybabies complain when watching this type of shows, but it is always healthy to laugh at yourself.
I have Subscribed as you;re intelligent and very amusing.
i like your adidas glasses 👍
I like family guy so much
The edginess was the point. Seriously the more offensive the better for most audiences, we expected this shit every week.
I don't see how anyone could be offended by pointing out racism with jokes. They aren't saying they're good things to do, they are saying hey isn't this fucked up this shit happens in joke form.
I am gen z and can confirm we can definitely handle family lmao I grew up watching it
I like the 2-sided racist joke with the sprinters. That is how it’s done. You gotta spread the hate around. Lol
It is indeed still on TV. In its 21st season right now, second in the FOX _Animation Domination_ Sunday cartoon lineup only to _The Simpsons_ , which is currently in its 34th season.
Also 4:28 - A. Honda vs. E. Honda
In reality a lot less people get offended than the media makes it look. Theirs 8 billion people in the world, family guy doesn’t have to please 8 billion people. Who cares if even 7 billion people don’t like it. 1 billion is still a huge consumer base. People just underestimate how many humans exist
I still crack up at the sketch artist one.
That's why I love family guy, no one is safe. South Park pushed the limits too.
The bowling ball assaulted the pins unprovoked
It's on Hulu and new episodes are on Fox every Sunday at 8pm eastern time
Gen Z here, born in 2000. There are a good handfull of us that can definitely handle this lol
