- With the already low quality winter wheat crop, local granaries have found a never heard of before reason to reject a load of wheat...deer poop in the sample. Matt talks about methods he's going to implement to minimize this. Kelly continues to have planter problems. Matt finds his best yielding wheat yet.

I’m pretty sure y’all are doing with or almost done with wheat now and I hope you didn’t have any issues with deer crap and had a good harvest this year as well. Actually, my brother-in-law who works at CGB has said they have turned down multiple loads for deer poop first I heard about it too, but I guess they are in control and can do it if they want to
My 8230 done it this year.. I’ve never seen it do that before either..remember this is the 8230 you used when you had to rebuild that 8120 after your accident. I know you didn’t like this combine but it’s been a good one for me!

Sounds like docking the wheat for garlic, I mean can’t they use it for garlic bread? Hahaha, they look for any way they can to make the most from the farmer. Farmers buy retail and hope to sell wholesale
Yeah never saw that in wheat, but dang it's a mess in beans, it seems like you said thougher green stems worse it seems, I try now to take a weed hook every dar and clean it, I did notice this year it had packed on right hand side where the residue deflector was at new one for me
Maybe if the poop is dried it will be alright. It just seems like the chance of the probe picking it up are slim. Let alone in 2 truck loads. Maybe it’s stuck in there probe and hose from a different truck. I would of went down the road and turned around and went back to see if it passes this time.
I know they have their rules for food consumption but, how do they get by with free range organic chickens or pasture raised chickens, I mean they are scratching their own or cow poop to eat bugs and corn that passed through the cows undigested. What’s the difference. Wheat flour gets baked and sterilized, chickens eat it and the chicken gets baked and sterilized.

Where my wheat was down so much, I had a bunch in mine. Gonna try to sell most of mine in bags. Trying to find a small seed cleaner of some sort
Dropping the concaves may be the problem. Have plugged everything from the 7010 to the 9250 in rice. I only open the concave from the cab and reverse with the toggle switch. Never had a problem getting it back going

I have welded plates over all the extra separating holes in the upper cages on both combines. Have not had that problem again. And I believe deslig concave setting is only 40. 50 is too far. Tells in manual.
Normally happens where the crop is lodged and the header has to cut low, in northern Alberta we have same problem with field peas.
Have a good president bring across from other countries then you won’t be sold at all
I guess the rejected loads of wheat could make hog or chicken feed. Maybe even plant it for next year.

How much rat s*** is in the grain when they ship it
try to use the rejected wheat for seed. if it has a lower germ just increase the seeding rate. the seed cleaning plant may get most of the poop out using an air table
Sell it for animal feed. I often got more for my wheat at a feed lot than at the elevator.

Does Tyson not buy the grain to make feed for there own chickens and/or hogs. If I am correct on that then they need to buy grain somewhere.
They only use corn in their feed, not wheat
