Please respect the Name of God, don’t make jokes about the Holy Spirit.
Lord Jesus Christ is coming back everyone, please don’t worship celebrities and entertainment, focus on Him alone. I promise there’s more to life than money, partying, homosexuality and music. Hell is real, repent from sinning confess your sins and ask God to forgive you, I know He will if you’re sincere. Anyone who thinks the Name of Lord Jesus Christ is a joke, boldly mocks and scorns Him or takes pleasure in people who do is in for a big unpleasant surprise on judgement day IF they don’t repent and follow Lord Jesus Christ. Hell is very hot, people please repent! In the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ, Amen 🙏💪✝️💜❤️✝️!
Idolatry such as, Islam, Catholicism, Sangomaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Santa Clausism, Confucianism, New Age, Science, Evolution, halloweenism, Harry Potterism, Politics, Donald Trumpism, Easter Bunnyism and other religions/faiths that are outside Biblical Christianity lead to hell! Don’t believe them, believe the Almighty God the Father of Lord Jesus Christ, who begot Him. Our Creator, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is mighty, He doesn’t need a woman to beget a son, He is God. I choose to put my faith in a God who can do anything and everything, a God who has unlimited and infinite power to beget!
So, it’s time to confess that Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord and to believe that He died and rose from the grave after three days and you shall be saved if you only obey Him by praying, worshipping, praising, reading the Bible and living holy and righteously according to the Bible. You have to endure until the end, carry your cross daily and build your relationship with God by following Lord Jesus daily until the end. You must never renounce your faith in The Lord Jesus Christ, there’s hell awaiting those who reject/deny Lord Jesus Christ and those who continue living sinfully, even the Christians who don’t want to repent will face the same fate, so please repent beloved people, in Lord Jesus Christ’s mighty and precious Name, Amen.

My mother is a professional pastry chef, and I learned how to bake from her. One trick I started using to lose weight is if I see a pastry that I know how to make (cookies, cakes, etc) I say to myself "I know what is in that" or "I can do better" or "i know what this tastes like already" and this is how I talk myself out of eating it.
I also used my knowledge of baking to cut out fats and surgar in the things I make at home. Most of my pastries are 30-70% less calories now. I encourage everybody to learn the chemestry of baking so you can cut unnecessary calories from your food too.

A note about the sugar/sweetener at the table. Those are for the benefit of people who order coffee. It is usually served black at restaurants, so the customer would add sugar, powdered creamer, or artificial sweetener to their taste.
Also, America also has, an apparently unique, thing where most restaurants/fast food places allow free refills on most drinks.

As someone who's currently in the process of losing a lot of weight (highest weight was 321 lbs/146 kg, started seriously trying to lose weight at 309 lbs/140 kg, currently 283 lbs/128 kg after about 12 weeks, goal weight 185 lbs/84 kg), I can confirm that letting go was the first step (not just of the emotional pain from people making fun of my weight, but also of the idea that I had to eat to get full, like every other American does). I'm doing this for me...I don't want to wake up one day when I'm 40 years old, and find myself headed to the hospital with a heart attack that I might not survive (I just turned 37 a few days ago). I've begun eating more vegetables, and almost completely cut out sugary drinks and desserts. I'll soon be starting back on the gym grind, as well. Mrs. Eats, I appreciate you sharing your story and your bravery, I wish all the best for you and Mr. Eats on his journey, and I hope to hear more of it in the future. Meanwhile, I'll be cheering him on while on my own journey to health :) .

For example, my running coach had me start slow with run/walk and progress to run/resting jog. I am not as fast as the others (yet), but I can now run an entire 5K and more. Mr. Ross also showed me what muscles to train in the legs for running. I also cross train with weights and karate to prevent injury and to protect joints.

The last part made me cry. I lost a lot of weight over the last years, after i gained a lot troughout a abusive Relationship i had after i left my also very abusive Family. As Kid i was always the super skinny one, people always tellt me i should eat more and even bullied me for my skinny chicken legs and being a Ginger also didn't help much. But i didn't get much food at home, so i never gained much weight until i had the chance to leave them. But as i said, i got from one Hell in the other Hell. There i gained a lot of weight and people started saying, just stop eating, you are so fat, you will die early, ect. ect.
But i couldn't stop, quite the opposite, the more people and my Ex-Boyfriend treated me badly, the more i ate and isolated me xx.
I have still a bit to loose and it's getting really hard, when you at a state, where results come slower and slower. And you are right, loosing weight didn't help my mental-health. I'm at 76kg now and still feel like my 110kg self and think People make fun of me, when they compliment me and stuff. I don't had a boyfriend since the breakup 3 Years ago and even though i sometimes miss the company, i can't bring myself to trust a Guy at the moment. Especially because I'm afraid that my mental state is not yet far enough that I don't fall for the same type of man again.
Thanks for youre nice and helpfull Words and for youre Videos who make me always smile :).

Sorry to hear. Men really can be quite a problem at times. However available data suggests that the worst tiny minority of all people, of all demographics, is at most, 1% to 5% of all of us. It is wise to stay away from dating and relationships for a while, work on yourself, heal, and learn how to spot Red Flags in future. It can be helpful to learn about how manipulative, gaslighting narcissists operate, but if you do it too much, you will make yourself overly vigilant to the point of paranoia.
It happened to one lady I knew who's only socialising was talking to victimised women, as she obsessed over Narcissism and associated Red Flags. I had to stop speaking to her eventually. Conversation the last 4 years became nearly nothing but her obsession and despising her ex and her acting like the entire world was against her.
There is a harsh truth that both toxic personalities, and their victims struggle to cope with. Nearly always, the entire world *is not* out to get them. There are 8 billion people on the planet, and 99.999999% of them will never even know they exist, never mind have a strong opinion for or against them.
      Recommendations: Carol Dweck's Growth Mindset, also seeking therapy if you can access it for free or afford it. Else for advice from professionals;
Dr Tracey Marks or Mark Tyrrell of Uncommon Knowledge UK. Also, learning about Critical Thinking skills of Cognitive Biases and Logical Fallacies can be extremely useful for your own life, and society.
Eg, those of us who have been totally crushed by the worst people, are often afraid to like ourselves in case we become those who hurt us. There is only a tiny bit of overlap between having self-esteem and self-confidence, and being a toxic narcissist.
To say they are exactly the same is the logical fallacy of False Equivalence. "A chihuahua is exactly the same species as a Lion. Exactly, exactly the same. They both have a face, eyes, a nose, mouth, growl, and have four legs with claws and a tail"
Or as articulated by Simon Sinek: "Confidence is believing in yourself. Arrogance is telling others you're better than they are. Confidence inspires. Arrogance destroys"

(Heehee, the sugar on tables in America is really for your coffee or tea. I don't know if anyone actually adds any to sweetened sodas, they've gotten pretty over-sweet since they switched to corn syrup mostly anyway. (Real sugar was more expensive so they didn't just dump it in like they do now. I can't even stand much of the stuff anymore. :) ) )
To-go boxes/'doggie bags' are pretty essential if you can't/don't want to eat a lot at a sitting, but actually portion sizes have been coming down cause of 'shrinkflation,' (charging the same price for less of the product to try and make it look like they aren't gouging.) But I notice cause I'm used to getting two meals out of a dinner. :)

The one thing that surprised me about living in Japan was the lack of diet soda. I don't like the full sugar options, but there was only Pepsi. You can, of course, get coffees and teas, but if you like sugar-free Monster, Pepsi, or even coke, it will be a little difficult to find. I think this might be because sodas are seen more as "snacks", whereas, in the UK and US, we think of them as drinks or drinks that accompany the meal, which means we more often go for the low sugar option (in the UK) because we are drinking them more often.

@@dwi5582 I do not speak for all British people, and I would say that my consumption is way higher than the normal person. I never drink just water, I absolutely hate the taste, and even when I am very thirsty I can only manage a few sips before I get a stomach ache (I don't know what on earth that is about, but it has happened all my life). My kidneys, bloodwork, and health are absolutely fine. I have recently started drinking green tea, but again, I can only manage a couple of sips a day. I should also note, that two servings (250ml each) could easily keep me going for the whole day (if I drink green tea, I could probably have three cups). Essentially I drink a pint of liquids a day and I can't manage more than that unless it is extremely hot. My lack of liquid consumption has really freaked my friends out.

I Love you for giving me Joy and Security of my weight...😌
Korean people naturally dislike fat people...😔
Korean people think in a stereotypical traditional way as if being viewed as overweight is truly unhealthy and a horrible thing in which maybe it is true in some cases...
However, even though Korean people try to say positive things towards you, they can't help but mean the opposite of what they have meant...😕
    For Example:
They say you're pretty but then say you need to lose weight because you will look even much prettier...😟
    Emotional Damage 💔 😮‍💨
Korean people can't be satisfied with other korean peoples weight even though I'm part Korean, part Phillipino and White American.
Even if you are slightly part Korean, you as well aren't discredited to have the same fat shaming judgment of Korean people...
Korean people care but sometimes they come off the wrong way and don't realize that what they say could do harm towards a person who is already worried about their uncontrollable weight...
Being American I'm glad to have people to enforce positive reassurement to those who are struggling from Obesity...

Sugar is for unsweetened drinks, which are common with restaurant meals here. Iced tea, coffee, and tea (usually a generic black tea, but sometimes you have options) are standard drinks people often get when eating out. In the south, iced tea can be sweet tea, but it's almost never pre-sweetened up north. Salt and pepper are generally for the ubiquitous fries offered at almost every type of establishment. I can't think of when I saw someone add salt to something that wasn't potatoes of some kind.
Also, we have separate courses for what you seem to eat at once. That soup and pickles you showed would be an appetizer here.
Also, our culture isn't an issue in quite the way you think it is. Being fat does make strangers feel free to say all kinds of things to you. For more than 100 years, young white guys have had a practice of asking out fat women they consider ugly so they can then publicly humiliate them for believing them. They call it "pig parties," and there are stories about them from the WW I era to now. The difference in our culture is corporate influence, not shame or laziness.
We've generated the most wealth in the world while wages haven't kept pace with inflation or productivity for almost 50 years. Our food laws require rigorous and irrefutable scientific proof of harm to ban anything, not to prove it can be eaten. Canadian versions of the same product are often healthier. We have little public transportation and tons of urban and suburban sprawl. Commute times are an average of an hours drive, and average salaries barely cover housing. We suffer from "food deserts" with minimal access to healthy whole foods. So while competitive sports are so central to our culture that my parents both competed in different sports from their youth to their 50s and most people I know have practiced a sport at some point, most in my generation and younger haven't had the time to get and make healthy food or exercise _and_ make money. It's to a point that standing desks, under desk treadmills and ellipticals, and other tools for getting in exercise while working are gaining popularity. Unfortunately, most of us don't control our work environment enough to make use of such tools.

I have my own story to tell, relevant to the conversation, perhaps. I had the opposite problem of struggling with my weight. I simply . . . wasn't hungry, and I could eat very little and still feel full. Like, I venture I probably could have gone full days without eating if I didn't remind myself to. I was often eating out of obligation rather than because I was hungry. Because of this, I was always skinny, at least, by US standards. I had lots of medical trouble spring up that caused me to eat less and less. I was underweight for a large chunk of my life. And whenever my depression hit, I wouldn't feel like eating at all.
I'm considered overweight now because I'm finally able to eat food. Because I'm finally feeling hungry sometimes (I still find myself having to eat out of obligation though. My body doesn't always send hunger signals when it should and learning to listen to signals I haven't listened to in many years is a process). My medical troubles have not gone away fully but at least my stomach's in a relatively good place.
Physically, this is the best I've felt in a long time, even though I am still disabled and in chronic pain. So to me, being overweight feels fine. But it's the judgment of society and of other people in my life that make it feel not fine. I was constantly getting the message I looked great when I was underweight and sick. But now that I'm eating actually well and feeling better overall, I'm getting the message that I don't look as good as I used to. So I feel that people still associate health with weight but keep forgetting that being underweight comes with its own very significant health problems.
If you're underweight or overweight and reading this, I guess my point is, live your life for you. If you want to get to a healthy weight for you, that's your call, and no one else's. You are fantastic and lovable no matter what. I hope you have a great day.

Every time I go out to eat, I know that meal may end up being three meals for me. So yes, the portions are massive, but there's no law saying you have to eat it all in one sitting. My husband used to gorge and clean his plate. After he hit thirty he announced that it wasn't fun being overfull anymore and started splitting his meals as well.
Now it's expensive to go out, but it's not so bad when you know that you're actually getting two nice dinners.
And no. We will NEVER share. Nobody touches my food. It's MINE. (And he had siblings. He doesn't split evenly.)

I have Type-2 Diabetes, the Keto Diet is ideal and you can figure out what kind of Keto Diet works best for you (Super Clean, Clean, Semi Clean, Vegan, Vegetarian, etc)
Also they have many keto options now! Like Keto Ice Cream (Rebel or some Halo Top), even affordable Keto bread (Sara Lee Delightful/white, not wheat!), Keto Noodles ("miracle noodles" and other brands/types), Keto Pastries of all sorts and chocolates/candy, etc
Also there are sweeteners, such as Pyure Sweetener which I swear by! And they keto powdered sugar!
So you can be creative and use keto bread to make safe and healthy French Toast!
*However be warned:* The first 1-2 months of Keto SUCK!! It takes a little while for your body to adjust and to get rid of all the bad stuff and start using the fat that your body has stored up instead :-3
But eventually your body will adjust and even start craving those yummy foods (oh also they have keto chips even! X-3 So yummy)
Tip when starting out: GET RID OF EVERYTHING IN YOUR HOME THAT HAS TOO MANY (net) CARBS!!! As you know those can be a huge problem and temptation!
*Personal Experience:* I used to be 260 borderline Diabetic Type-2, but now I'm 200, going for 190lb ! And that's without exercise! (tho I do like to, I just don't always have the time to walk all day at the mall, 5-10 miles)
Fyi - I do 'Semi-Clean' Keto, since I'll still enjoy Diet Sodas and processed foods (usually meat) - it's yummy and I just don't have the funds to keep it clean and my sanity at the same time.

In USA the sugar packs on the table are for tea or coffee. The tea is often very very strong if you order iced tea that THEY made. You may need to add more water as well to dilute it. Hot tea is a cup of water with a tea bag on the side. If you order a cup of coffee it comes with a very small single container of cream & the coffee is likely so strong brewed so you may need either the sugar or to pour some water in to dilute it.

The way Japanese eat is one of the reasons I want to visit Japan. I love how meals are served so small. The US serves wayyy too much food! Especially in the south. Southerners like to make sure their family and guests get plenty. It's also rude to not clean your plate. As for the sugar on the tables in US restaurants that isn't to make our soda sweeter.....I mean people could use it for that if they want lol....but the sugar is for coffee, or tea. Within the last two years I have trained myself to not put sugar in my green tea.....If I do want a little sweetness, I eat a cookie with my tea.
