OMG, i had this as my first car! But with 2.0 petrol engine 156 ps. It was a very good car to me with good ride quality and a lot of car for the money. Only the interior quality was pretty bad.
Joe prawie zawsze jedzie z prawie pustym bakiem,i teraz kiedy lampka się włączyła emocje rosną .Czy dojedziemy do końca testu? :) A tak poza tym taki Chrysler z dieslem to chyba rzadkość . Albo się mylę.
G'day Joe. Have wanted a Sebring hardtop droptop from the first time I saw one. Import duties and govt taxes put it well out of my affordability bracket here in australia.

@@Ed.F how is that when the spec sheet of the 2007 Sebrings says it has between 173 to 235 hp I know this information because I also own a 2007 Chrysler Sebring 2.4l base model?
@@Ed.F yeah I knew that there was other engine options for the 07 Sebring instead of just the four-cylinder and V6 but I just did understand why the overall information about the 07 Sebring would say that it has between 173 and 235 hp so in that case then the overall information should say the Sebring has between 140 and 235 HP🤦🏾♂️
You’re looking at US spec Sebrings, which only came with the 2.4 and 3.5 V6. This is a European model with a 2.0 Diesel from Volkswagen and manual transmission, neither were offered in the states
The only good thing if this it's the VW TDI engine, we had in my family one with 2.0 petrol engine and cause a lot of troubles specially with blown head gasket, and the interior quality is horrible
Man that car seems slow. I don't think that's normal. Maybe it has a boost leak or a bad turbo or something like that..🤔 Seems almost like a SDI engine 🤣

The biggest issue with this was, that Chrysler used VW 2.0TDI-PD engines 103kW. They are horrible. The injectors go bad fast, the turbo goes bad, EGR.. I had one, and the entire engine basically failed, even tho it ran fine, all because of bad fuel injectors. Sadly one of those injectors is like 850€!!! I mean new, not pre-used.
We have a 2007 Audi A4 with the 170hp version of the 2.0 TDI and have had the same problems, but the car has gone like 500k KM now so i don't really think its a bad engine, but worse than the 1.9 TDI for sure
@@meowritz I believe that is already TDI-CR - common rail. Those are really good, still used in modern diesel engines. I have seen 1.6TDI go for more than 600k without any major repair.
It must be a CR-TDI, as the only thing that really happens on the PD140 is that if you don't change the oil pumpe drive shaft regularly, they lose oil pressure at high RPMs, and usually throw all rods and some kick out parts of the turbo within about 10 seconds, which can be prevented by changing the oil pump drive shaft ($8) every 60k miles. Otherwise, they are pretty reliable engines. The early CR engines had many more problems, as they were still very new and still rather experimental. Some didn't even ship with DPFs at first, because they didn't even have any in stock yet! Thankfully, the newer models are a lot more reliable, and rarely fly apart.

Nice car, good video Joe 👍
For a while the Sebring coupe and Stratus Coupe RT were based on the 3G Eclipse
Nice vidéo and test drive

What are European's thoughts on the Chrysler Sebring? do y'all consider this a luxury car over there?

I think the engine mounts need replacing, that's probably the source of all the vibration and noise transfer in the cabin
