They're always fake. Look at pewdiepie, the Logan brothers and anyone else who has been caught. None of their apologies were ever truly sincere due to their influence and or wealth. If people were truly sorry then logically they would've considered the ramifications in the first place. That's why I personally never believe any of them.

If you are a worker, your company will give you free lunch usually in exchange for a lower salary and you are giving up your freedom to choose since you will be limited to what is going to be served in the cafeteria.
If somebody is treating you for lunch, your choices will rely on where he or she wants to eat, thus, giving up your freedom to choose, again, and your time since you have to be with that person.

"a trustworthy source like a friend of government" no government is ever trustworthy.
First thing I do when a friends sends a long msg or saying to click or go to a site, is to msg them and ask if they did it and everytime its no.
according to "FB" my account is ment to be deleted at least 4 times over the past few years from a msg saying to do something.

You forgot all the advertising scams that one sees when they are reading free news stories on their Iphones. Ads that have a picture of Bill Gate that have links to bitcoin sign up sites. One of these links nearly caught me as it seemed so legit. Then there are all the constantly annoying PPI ads forever forcing people to hand over personal details.

When I see someone flaunting their cash in a picture, it makes me think they are having sex with themselves. More in love with them self than they would be to someone else.

A good thing is to never put money or login details through a email link to start with “if theres a legitimate reason just go to the website manually” also “more for calls” any legitimate company will let you ask for there name so you can call them back using the legitimate contact number “found by you not given by them” if theres any money/personal details involved.

Change your password to something crazy and difficult to guess, and get a VPN. Also, check your outgoing messages on Facebook often, that way if you get hacked and someone is sending out messages claiming to be you, you can change your password as soon as it happens.

In regards to giving out your address and other personal information to scammers, if you know it's a scam, just randomly select a pedophile from the local sex offender registry in your neighborhood or state and provide the scammer without information.
If there's one person that deserves to be scammed, it's sexual predators!

    Simple rules to follow:
    1) Never pay in advance unless you do it via someone who have the ability to chancel your payment, like PayPal.
    2) Newer give your personal info's online to anyone
    3) If you are contacted by anyone that claim to be from somewhere, ask them of there name and say you will call back, then call the phone number you by your self do find and then cal them and ask about if that person is legitimate and ask to talk to that person.

Also eBay. If you’re a new seller people will send you offers for more money than you listed it for, then say contact me out of eBay so we can finish payment, then try to get you to put gift cards with it then they get their money back and you lose all yours. I get 10 of these scam requests every week. Don’t accept any payment unless you get it straight into your account from a buyer with a real address and more than 0 reviews

It is unbelievable that there actually are people so idiot that they would believe someone they don't know asking money for whatever in return. This is common sense, people. No one has to warn you about the possibilities of these kind of frauds because you are the one who has to be aware of your own responsibilities to lead your lives decently. The Internet has much more to make you lose than to make you gain.

Experiment: Check a few brokers and even without signing up, you will start receiving calls upon calls over the first two weeks from people mentioning you have signed up but never activated your account and oh boy if you tell them you have not signed up. At least once I have actually created an account with a broker and might have had accepted their policies and my data has been shared resulting in these calls but just from checking brokers you will get these calls (10 per 5 working days or more).

My experience with Ancestry.com was quite a suprise. I was taking care of my sick brother, (he passed in November) and didn't check my bank acct for 2 or 3 months. Jan I got my acct up and they had been charging me for two services. I wasn't getting anything for the $18.00 a month they were taking. No one there answered the phone. I started looking to see if other ppl had this happen and that is how I went to BBB. I only got a partial refund. So turned me off to use that company. I hate that name turned blue on this comment but wtf?

When I say I want to sort it out in the bank and try to make an appointment thay hang up. Most recently I've had texts about my PayPal account.
