Very rare
This is the one of the greatest baritone saxophonist in Nigeria, a rare gem to the music world. God bless Ani and the late great fela anikulapo kuti. all you said back in the day are coming to pass
God bless Baba Ani. He's just too articulate for an octogenarian. A true disciple indeed!
What a faithful friend and servant!!! Such are so rare these days!
Baba Ani, the unassuming Legend!!!
THANK GOD HE FEELS FULFILLED, REMAIN BLESSED BABA.
Missed opportunity to learn some unique things about Fela, when you interview someone like Baba Ani, you should get deeper than that with your questions.
Wish the interview was longer. Ordinarily I am not a patient person when it comes to listening to interviews but this was captivating. Nice 1 Baba Ani.
One of the best interviews I’ve seen on the channel TV...Baba Ani! Still looking good. Fine Wine-Ageless👌🏽✊🏽✊🏽
Baba Ani God bless you Sir,you have been and you still are a good gift to our generation, you are firm and straightforward and I pray that God will still keep you, give you long life in good heath and sound mind.
Baba Ani, 'may God always protect and guide you Sir'.
Ase!
Dada Mark AMEN
Baba Ani is a legend. Love him to bits. I hope to see him again. I will surely hug him.
This guy is really intelligent at the ripe age of 80 he answered all the questions perfectly. Long live Baba Ani.
Loyalty I love this man
May God Almighty continue to with you and protect you sir.

Wow wonderful wonderful interview And Fela is a prophet.
Love you BABA ANIMASHAUN..You are GOD SENT..
Nice to see what this presenter looks like. I have always heard of him on the radio.
Great interview. Two veterans.
He also did an interview with Fela in the late 80s.
Salute to a Legend!
Baba Ani at 80+ is very astute. The New Shorter Oxford English Dictionary (1993 £90)...Prophet, 4 An innovative proclaimer or advocate of a cause, principle, etc. The colonisers language is shrouded by subtle corruptions. Do as I say not as I do...big respect! to Fela and his band
These are great men, super talented musicians.
Nice 1...i Watching from tx
We need to hear from you Sir.
Nice one!!
Music is life..
Bless him
We need to hear from you sir
Good talk sir
Baba we respect you
How can this man's eye sight be so sharp?????
No one person who was with Baba Fela has anything evil to say about him not even the 27 wives except the instituted institution.
Abami eda live forever king of Kings!!!
Ani Bay!!! Baba!
More strength and peace Baba Ani...I really enjoyed the way he responded to the questions but presenter don't know History of broadcasting and Baba Ani is telling him but he's twisting it, abeg na elderly dey talk please listen. Long life Baba Ani....!!! 💖👍
Baba Ani, the sage!
Let Femi reconcile with Baba Ani so Fela Spirit will be happy with the family considering his age.
This is the "man."
The music books, is his Bible😊🎷🎷🎷📲🎹
Pa you said you love you two wives the same but when it get to going to the mountain top, the real truth came out by saying you will take your junior wife. 😏🙄😀😀😀
Guess he doesn't want to stress the eldest one cox of age factors. Im from polygamous home Younger wives does most of the house running whilst older one deal with finance and kids
That's where he answered that question without knowing anyway he make sense
ORE TOHUN BA FELA DAMORAN LOJU AYEE NI BABA ANI TOTUN SOJU SE E LEYIN FELA NI BABA ANI MO PATEWO FUN BABA AN PA PA PA PA PA PA
What kind of question was the interviewer was asking about Femi? Femi already had his own band when Fela was alive. So he was already his own man with his own band.
Correct
Don't mind Mani with his silly questions. Seun automatically was Fela successor in the Egypt 80 Band, hence the reason why they worked together was obvious.
@@ayoolanitori7919 It's not a silly question and the guy knows why he asked the question. Femi is the type no one can work with.
@@jairotaylor9576 Up until the moment you typed your response, Femi Kuti still had a band (populated by human beings) who work with him. So your point that "he's the type no one can work with", doesn't hold water.
@@ayoolanitori7919 Your comment bears no relevance to the context.
You were NOT sincere in your attitude towards Fela being thought of as a "prophet." Your objection was that the things Fela spoke against are still happening today. But, so what? Is a prophet meant to FORCE change? The answer is an obvious No. A prophet simply speaks to the conscience of the people, among other things. Whether they adjust their lives to what he says, or not, is left to them.
Calm down! Referring to Fela as a prophet is only a figure of speech.
I have no idea why Fela is deemed a prophet...he foretold nothing. All he did was talk about what was already happenng around him which we all could see. He didn't predict anything futuristic that came to pass..........
Respect sir baba ani
You clearly didnt visit the African Shrine while he was alive.and i can also tell you may have only listened to a few of his numbers.
@@admiralivan9498 you've answered him well well
