  • @The New Varsity Sept. 1984 Eric wrote: "These videos are great -- a real historic archive of the last version of Group 87. This show was from September 1984. That was one of the most free form performances in their brief touring era -- June 1984 to October 1984. So thanks for giving the guys that freedom. Most of the composed material morphed into extended improvisations. The Macleod Bros had a big influence on the direction of the sound. It was also one of Peter's favorite gigs that year and he looks very into the music." (eric uddenberg)

I saw them perform at Lewis and Clark college. Fabulous show. 5 bucks!

Peter has such a deft touch and an amazing catalogue of sounds and moods. Everyone is in great form here.

This was quite a challenge to figure out which songs were played. Here is my best guess:
    Sympathy & Acknowledgement
    Men Before the Mirror
    percussion duet
    A Career In Dada Processing
    Pleasure In Progress
    The Bedouin
    The Apple Bites Back
    Postcard From the Volcano
    The Mask Maker I
    The Mask Maker II
    Sublime Feline
    jam
There were multiple interludes between songs. The first two songs were from Isham's Vapor Drawings album.
